animeiija I know this is dead, but I just realized something about myself and the reason I don't like Mai...at all. It actually has to do with Tom-Tom. How could she, as a sister, basically abandon her brother? In that situation, all older sisters and myself included (that I know) would go to hell and back for our little brothers. You could have a gun to my head and threaten to pull the trigger and I wouldn't care. I would do anything for my little brother and it disgusted me that Mai would so easily dismiss hers. He's her blood. He's her baby brother, and she didn't give two cents about him. It's not the shipping or anything of the like that keeps me from even remotely liking Mai, it's her. When she turned her back on Tom-Tom when Azula asked her, I lost all respect for her. I like her character type and think she's bad-a**, but the minute she betrayed Tom-Tom, without any sign of remourse, I hated her. That's a really good point, I never even considered that. One more reason for me to dislike her even more e___e;

I had almost forgotten that scene with Tom-Tom, but now that you mewntion it I remember how awful that was. Now I really don't like her. >.>

Now I really don't like her. >.> A lot of people did forget about Tom-Tom because he was a one-shot character. In fact, I'm arguing with someone right now about why I really hate Mai and they forgot about that scene aswell.
