Luna was glad he liked it. She was a bit ashamed of her hobby knowing it wasnt natural for a wolf to like such things since she had grown up around her kind she knew most wolves didnt bother with such trinkets.
"I guess my father must have been a coon," she said half jokingly. The truth was she didnt who her biological father was. But that didnt bother her much. She was happy with knowing she ended out fine.
"So where did you come from before stopping here? Are you following a herd?" She changed the subject still a bit bashful about her collection.

He chuckled at her comment, tails wagging as he poked around the stump. The one orange eye fixed on each and every one of the shiny things, bright with curiousity. Where did she find all these things? He had seen a few things similar, but they were in their raw form, a bit dulled and dirty and definitely not as magnificent.
Touching the silver chains with his nose, he grinned, spotting his reflection on one of the facets of a gem nearby. Peering at it delightedly, he sniffed it, half-turning his head at her question. "Me? From the forests in the south. I am not sure exactly where... but I know I traveled quite a bit from there, and I remember Clabar as only being a myth because none of the wolves I remember had ever seen it." He chuckled, noting that now the great volcano was always looming overhead in these parts, like a sentinel from Hell.
"I guess you could say that. Trying to find a new place to settle for food, maybe find a couple of rouges and razzle things up a bit, eh? Have some fun," he trailed off, looking around wistfully before settling on Luna. "I want to see the sea."

"See the sea?" Luna blinked, truth be told Luna had no idea what the sea was. She had never strayed off far from these woods. She knew what the plains were but that was about it. "Arent you seeing right now?" She asked a bit curious to know what he ment. She thought he was talking about sight not a big body of water. But now she was curious and wanted to know more.
"What do you mean?" Her eyes were big with curiousity. "Is the sea a gem?" Her eyes grew even wider at the slightest chance a gem was envolved. Her tail waged some knocking over one of her trinkets to the ground with a bit of a clink as it fell. She awaited his answer with every bit of saspence.

Letarrio ignored her first two questions, a loose chuckle escaping his mouth, magnified by the hollow stump. She, too, had never seen the sea? That made the lone feel a little less awkward. He had always remembered his former pack talk of having relocated because of some monstrous event - a hurricane stirred the waters of the sea and sent giant waves crashing into their homes in the cliffs. The male's single eye dimmed a touch at the memory, even though it was only bits and pieces yet to be strung together...
Beautiful and chaotic, violent, torrential, and untamed...
Oh yes, Letarrio had to see it.
"It is the queen of all gems, the sea. Even the moon can't hold her own against it. She is magnificent in every way, I've been told, and one should not die without seeing it." He stared up at Luna for a brief moment, then let his gaze wander. "The sea is both feared and loved, and I think I love her more than any I've ever loved." His silky voice dropped down to a whisper as he lay in her home, eye half-lidded as his imagination spiraled over just how incredible the sea could be.

Luna was now intertwined into the mystery of the sea. If it could even out do the moon in wonder it was worth seeing. Destructive, beautiful, mysterious. Those three words stuck to her mind. Something that couldn't be tamed. Luna's bright pink eyes were now shimmering with wonder.
"Letterio, if your going to go see this amazing treasure," She began but stopped not wanting to be rude. "Well.." she starte back up again her tail now down out of respect, "Well if you dont mind me tagging along with you that is..." The truth was Luna had never left the woods, and she would get lost didnt really want to get lost, or worse, get hunt down by a pack and be mistaken as an intruder.
Wolf packs were something she really didnt have a pleasent experiance with. Not all were harsh but she just knew it would be easy to be taken advantage of even more so since she was a female.

Letarrio lifted his head as she offered, smirking silently. Twin tails twitched as he rolled over on his back, front paws toying with the silver chains as he looked up at them. "If you want to see her, I'll take you." He said simply, gaze moving to her as he studied her amazement.
"It'll be the greatest gem you'll ever see."

Luna giggled as she watched him play with the silver chain. It was quite funny to see a full grown male act like a pup, but it was also refreshing to see a male act in such a way. Pink glittering eyes caught his gaze, she paused and blushed some. Luna wasnt used to the company of another wolf and could be bashful at times.
With his last sentence it made her ears perk up, "I cant wait to see such a gem," She was still a bit bashful from locking gazes with him earlier but she was more excited about the gem. And traveling with another wolf, that would be a first.
She had to admit she was scared, not scared the bad way, the kind of scared that made you more motivated to do something.

"Mmm, good then. I think we'll need some rest if we are to set off? We'll have a full breakfast soon, and from there it'll be a lot of walking and droll scenery... at least until we reach the sea," sighed the rugged male, dropping his paws as he noticed her blush. A bright and toothy grin was his response.
He was playful (in many more ways than one) at times, though Letarrio could be quite the sarcastic bigot if he ever felt the whim. An arrogant b*****d, really, and it seemed he was like this only around other males.
With females, he was a charmer.
"It'll be fun, eh? Two lones touring the world!" A throaty chuckle echoed about the stump as bitten ears twitched, and he rolled over on his side, looking straight at Luna.

Luna's pink eyes caught his gaze. Pausing momentarily before diverting her gaze to the silver chains that lay about the stump at random.
"Yeah that sounds good," She nodded her head in agreement, it was already good into the afternoon from the morning and a bit to late to travel. Even more so knowing that they could be ambushed if they weren't careful. That was another reason she wasn't well traveled. Even though she could take care of her self, she would easily be taken out by a male wolf.
Her maw opened letting a yawn be released. She knelt down beside Lettarrio, not touching him, only beside him, and let her head rest on her paws.
"Guess the best thing we can do now is rest." She said with one eye opened and focused on him.

Letarrio had seen his share of battles, definitely. All the scars he had on his body screamed it! Twin tails wagged, curling around in the dirt as he nodded his large head, winking towards his friend. "Good. We'll start early."
That was all he said before he shifted again, paws coming to rest under his muzzle, similar to Luna. He also yawned, the great reverberating noise sounding like that of a bear as he finished, licked at his paws and finally closed his eye. It had been a good day. A good meal, companionship, conversation, and now... an adventure!
