I like both a lot. Sometimes the anime adaption of a manga will be kind of bad, but they usually turn out okay, and manga adaptions of anime usually suck, but then you get something good in the mix like the Evangelion manga.
Overall, I'd say I like manga better, because it's cheaper and you can carry it around without having to worry about batteries/cigarette lighter cords. sweatdrop

There are some anime that are masterpieces...but as of late there has been very few truly good ones...
I like manga a great deal more. Always have...I dont think I have the attention span for anime anymore.

You just lose some of the detail with anime, like Gravitation Suichi had long black hair in the manga and in the anime goes stright to the short hair.

I cant decide...Manga is portable... but anime you can listen to if you feel like it... grr I really cant decide!

Usually, I prefer manga over anime. It's relatively cheaper, the story is usually more in-depth, and it generally just leaves much more to your imagination. However, there are times when I really enjoy the benefits of watching a series rather than reading it. For example, the actions in the numerous fight scenes in series such as Naruto and Rurouni Kenshin can get a bit confusing at times, and I find it helpful to watch the characters in action rather than look at pictures and read sound effects.
Also, there are always exceptions to my preference of manga over anime; for instance, Wolf's Rain. While the manga was decent, I much preferred the anime.

I like both, you can't really compare them. Especially the FLCL series, both the anime and manga are awesome.

I like manga better because of the depth of the story. I have found that you can read a manga and be at least 2 or 3 episodes ahead of the anime because the anime is short and skips over some parts and changes things. I don't mind colour but I like the simple black and white drawings.

I enjoy both, but I have to say manga is my favorite. I like it better because of a lot of little quirky things, but also for some major reasons. One is because I can read it wherever, whenever. I can also learn to draw by copying the art, which, I might add, is the original. Anime art is just animators copying the style. I also enjoy all the quirky things, such as the random chibis and the "aside" text (Where the character speaks outside his/her speech bubble.) It makes mangs fun. biggrin
Plus, while being able to listen to the soundtracks, which usually kick butt, the anime voices are usually so far from what I picture by reading manga... Plus, they cut out parts that you can't show/can't show well on TV and do all kinds of mutilation-type things...

I usually read manga for several reasons:
1. I don't have a lot of time to watch anime, and I read really fast, so reading manga is just easier for me.
2. I love looking at the art in manga.
3. Either the storyline or art in anime is usually different from the manga, and I don't like that very much (the one exception that I know of is Dragonball Z).
4. Anime is more expensive than manga, and I'm already broke as it is.
Though I do love the music in anime heart

I love both anime and manga, but I think I prefer anime over manga. People always say the storyline, plot, or climax is much better in manga but I like watching things animated. Of course I'll read manga every once in a while but the truth is I'm a bigger anime fan.

i like them both, some manga's are better then the anime series but i also find some anime better then the manga
