Yepyep, happens all the time. I also sometimes hit myself in the butt with my butterflys, and it doesn't help that my butt has grown... :/

I've hit myself twice in the head with my flag tossing a single on my left XD and the many times practicing at my house.....
I just hit myself in the mouth with my rifle yesterday XD I also hit my self in my eye with my new flag

Dude, I've gotten sooooooooo many injuries in guard.
Haha Ive had half of my fingernail ripped off by a rifle
My cousin got the back of her head cut open from a saber when her friend tossed it in the wind. She had to get her head stapled back together, lol.
Ive broken my nose,
Ive gotten hit in the head soooo many times, I dont even remember them all.
hahahahah!!!!

Daha, many times. Only this year, however, have I learned how GODDAMN PAINFUL IT IS TO BE HIT ANYWHERE WITH A SABRE.

Everyone has hit themselves in the head with guard before. I, however, have 8 dents in different parts of my head. I only blacked out once though. ^_^ It makes me happy. I could slowly be dying from brain damage.

I'm in the pit and I've hit myself in the head a lot.
Most recent was yesterday, with the cymbal stand I was putting together and it bonked me right smack on the head and was like 'OWWW' really loud...in front of the whole band right as they finished Slidebox. With the guy I've had a crush on for like three years about two yards away from me XD

My first ever toss was caught be my nose, then a parallel was my head, huge goose egg. But I've become good at twisting to aviod the flag. Its hillarious. I have hit a flute when I trpped over my flag, it hit her shoulder though... I was so sorry. I've hit myself in the mouth the day before picture day because I was learning 45's and I still cant do parallels or 45's.
One time the band was coming in for practice and they're possed to let the gaurd through and they didn't, bout 5 kids got hit.
Also, we were in a practice block and spinning when the band went on water break, they dicided to cut through the gaurd.... Not smart, on kid got K. O.ed. Not by me. I just whacked a trumpet in the arm. Our director told us not to stop

i just finshed up the reg.season on my 2nd year & i still hit myself in the head. it's just a guard thing... lol

I had to carry a cymbal out to the commons and I looked at it thinking "This would hurt if I hit myself in the head with it." and I hit the top of the doorway, causing it to hit my forehead. I had this huge red cut on my head all through the concert. XD

yeah, ive hit myself in the head. i was the worst person in my guard during my freshman year. lol i was horrible!! rofl
the next year i (obviously) got an award for "most improved" xd

We were moving our tube-bells (chimes or whatever) and it took two of us to lift it off the cart and they fell and hit me on the head! It was a crazy practice and I couldn't walk for a bit haha
