I would have to agree that in the broad scense it is a placebo effect going on. A lot of times with people who arent really aware of all the surges in energy take things a little too seriously. In one of the threads Mitsh posted on page 1, a lot of them are making an energy surge out to mean the end of the "Veil".
Bullshit. The "veil", if we can call it that (I prefer the term cell wall), between Astral and Physical is not coming down in the way most think it is. Throughout history there have been times of Myth and Magick, which would be the "Veil" acting like a thin cell wall...more can get through, but its not completely gone. The times of Magick and Mythology are always followed by an era of Technology and Advancement...like oh say, The Rennaissance...or the Industrial Revolution...
Again Looking at history it is a natural shift. As early as the late 1800's Magick was back on the rise. (Hell, the Golden Dawn and all its offshoots can attest to that.)
The veil is not going to be torn down. And I personally have a hard time taking anybody seriously when they claim "I AM TAKING THE VEIL DOWN MYSELF!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!".

The "veil" is there, it isnt coming down, most people are over reacting. If people are feeling energy from the veil, its because there is more psychic energy coming through. Thats it. We are nearing the new age. The "veil" can not be weakened by one person with an ego, or a hundred people with ego's.

Even look at the word Veil. Its an object used to mask something. Whatever is Beyond it that can harm us already has access to this plane. Do you really think we are special people who are the only ones who can cross over? What about energy parasites...last I recalled they were Astral... they seem to have no problems getting through. And if there is something really horrible that will destroy this world, it has done a decent job keeping to itself.

Well as for me, I'm running tons of theories and scenarios as to how the veil COULD come down and have a theory in progress of how I could bring it down myself, however I do not(nor would not ever) claim to be able too (unless it actually worked, lawl).
