"I'm going to have the Inari-zushi and the kitsune udon. Mmmm."
Bijin ordered for them and showed Kinnara the proper eating ettiquette of Japanese restaurants. He didn't want his friend having a bad experience, though it would most likely be blamed on him being a forgiener.
"Tonight we should go to the lamp festival. Its very pretty and they have games with prizes! I can put on a really nice kimono I brought too! Thats something we should do this afternoon Kin-sempai, buy you some real Japanese clothes. Something you can feel more comfortable in when we are traveling."

"Alright but let eat first. "said Kinnara smelling the food the waitress had brought them. He thank her for the food. To Kinnara it smelt like heaven. He was really hungry. Using some chop stick he first started to eat his sushi which was awesome. More awesome then anythign he has ever tasted. His tail swished out of pleasure for sushi. He then picked at the other food he order and it was good too.

Bijin was in his own little heaven too. Fried Tofu was his favorite meal and Gaian tofu just didn't taste the same for some reason. If he had a tail, it would be swishing in happiness too. He giggled a bit as Kinnara ate.
"You look like you are about to start purring, Kin-sempai."

"Well this is really good food. It is better then the stuff I get in California," said Kinnara. He then started to laugh of the idea of him purring. He maybe a cat but he was also human. And humans don't purr unless they were making sound affects.

Bijin laughed along with Kinnara and ordered some dessert once they had finished eating. Some delicious ice cream.
"So despite some jet lag, how are you enjoying our trip Kin-sempai? I hope you like my country."

Bijin beamed and paid for their meal. He walked outside and looked up and down the street.
"I know a good shopping district near by, we can get you some clothes there. But you have to pick them out yourself."
He grinned, his eyes closed. He knew if he let Kinnara pick his clothes they would mean more to him later. Plus he knew more of what he wanted to portray in himself. They walked a bit before stopping in a shop that sold yukatas and other around the house type of clothes. They had no special insignias or colors, all very warm and comfortable.

Kinnara thought for a moment while looking at clothes. He wasn't really sure what to get. He when he shuffled through racks of clothing he didn't know what he should wear. He wasn't sure if he should be more relaxed or get traditional clothing.

"Remember, Kin-sempai. You will need some things to wear around the house that you don't mind getting a little dirty, something to wear when we are out walking, and something formal to wear to public dinners. These clothes are nice to wear around the house as they aren't too hot. Those other ones over there are good for walking around as they tend to hold up better with a lot of wear and tear."
Bijin offered as much help as he could but still let Kinnara pick out his clothes.

Kinnara nodded and went back to looking. He found some tore up jeans with lots of belts. He looked his size in them. He found them in black with red belts and that was cool. He then found a tank top that was red to match it. Then he looked through the formal wear. He found a nice blue and black yukata. It has swirls on it and had a nice silver belt to go with it. He then got a few accersories . One was a dickies watch (huge watch and leather). He also got some cuff earrings for his ears and some socks and shoes as well.

Bijin waited patiently as Kinnara paid for his clothes, he never stopped smiling. It was a michivous smile that ment he had a secret. He loved secrets, they were fun. In fact, his mother was in on the secret and had helped to finance it.
"Ne, all done Kin-sempai?"

"Hai! Follow me."
He giggled again and lead Kinnara down the street to a store that sold elegant kimonos. These were very nice, made of silk, and also fitted to the individual. Bijin's mother was already there and she smiled at the two boys as they entered.
"Excellent timing."
She spoke to a woman at the counter who produced a very beautiful man's kimono. It was just Kinnara's size and featured a powerful Japanese dragon going up the side. The colors were red, white, and yellow.
"I know you might have bought something already but this is a personal gift from Bijin and myself. We each have a Kimono for only the most special occasions, and we would like you to have this."

Kin looked at the kimono. He has never seen anything so nice looking before. He never got anything like this from anyone except from his mother. He owned his new friends so much and wasn't sure how to thank them.
"Thank you very much. This is the first time anyone given me something so nice." said Kinnara with a smiling while blushing. He was not used to being treated like a stray cat normally by the nieghborhood kids.

"Try it on, Kin-sempai!"
Bijin clapped and lead him off to the changing room. As per most kimonos, it took some help getting into, but Kinnara looked very regal in it. Bijin stepped out and looked behind him.
"Come on out, Kin-sempai. You should see yourself!"
Bijin's mother just waited quietly with a small smile on her face. She had done a bit of research on Kinnara's fable before they left and realized how badly the cat must have been treated. But his kindness towards Bijin made her realize he was a good person beneath that kitten exterior who just wanted a normal life.
