Oh, I'll make sure you don't do anything to jeopardize this paradise...
In front of her, two blood-red spots glowed in the darkness. They were higher than her head, and were almost...diamond shaped. Maybe...sideways teardrops? No, she'd say they almost looked like...eyes. Hm. Eyes.
EYES!?
Oh, s**t! The owner of the crimson occules finally lumbered into the foreground, showing itself...
A huge, scarred trunk stood towering in front of the Pyromaniac, with branches the size of people, and a large, burnt hole that resembled some kind of horrific, wailing mouth. It did not move, but the whole...great...thing walked on its roots, with a seamless pace that gave the appearance of some kind of ghastly floating...
The forest closed in behind you, as if it too had a mind of its own.
There is no escape...you must succumb...

Sasha shrieked some more apon seeing the... thing come out at her.
"Renzt, get your scaredy cat butt out here and help me!"
she yelled at the quiviring bush. She took out her puny knife again and began to wave it everywhere in an attempt to get the tree thing to stay away. She knew it was futile, and now more than ever she wished she still had the torch. That was probobly why they hadn't been 'viasited' before, the tree thing was scared of fire. Now she was going to die here, killed by a tree no less!

Sasha didn't know what to do. Her 'protecter' was hiding in a bush, and all she had was a puny knife. She started to panick, and without thinking, throught the knife at the tree, aiming for ones of its eyes, but missing terribly. It came closer and knocked her off of her feet, throwing her near the bush where Renzt was hiding. She looked behind it and saw that he wasn't their anymore. She looked around trying to find him, and saw him just as the evil tree sent him flying where he hit against one of the other trees like a rag doll and crumpled, not getting back up. The tree had turned towards her again, and now she became mad because she was so hopeless.

From the bushes, Renzt called out a brief cry....which actually helped.
"Sasha! This guy's made out of wood! Do you know anything that'll take him out? Seriously, it's our only hope, cuz...cuz...well, because I'm not coming out there!"
And then it died down...
Wood, eh? What would take out wood...and did she even have what it took?
The tree, now taking its turn in the battle, swirled a mass of leaves around itself in a green haze, extending its branches towards the sky and emitting a low, hollow rumble. The surrounding blur seemed to melt inside of him, and within seconds he began to glow green with the protection of his foliage friends.
Unless she did something right away, this would be bad...

((quick break before i go back to studying...))
Sasha scrambled back from teh tree while trying to think of something that would injure It. All of a sudden , she slipped, and felt her hand bruise itself on a stick. Without thinking, she threw the stick and looked around for more, laughing internally that she was hitting the tree with its own kind, not that it was doing much. Goddamn matches, where were they when she needed them. Was their any other way she could make a fire. She looked aorund desperatly, having run out of rocks to throw, for something that would make fire.

Fire. That would definitely work. But...how would you conjure up that sort of a thing? The only thing that could possibly generate any flame now was some sort of miracle...or magic or something. Heh. If only you could do that s**t...

The twig that sasha had thrown bounced off the creature and once it landed on the ground it was on fire for a short second, then it burned out on the damp forest floor.

He had seen the whole thing with his very eyes...
"WHOAH! HOLY s**t! S-Sasha! Do that again, whatever you just did! I could almost swear, I saw some fear in that big piece of s**t's eyes as you threw that stick. Just keep trying to make fire appear!"
He knew she could do this all along...he'd been watching her for years now...but it was best to see her learn independently...

The creature wiped off the area where the stick had landed and took a step back from where it had spontaneously combusted.
