"Are you serious? Do you honestly expect me to leave you alone with the council without me to keep an eye on you?" she asked incredulously. "You'd have every human city and the mounds up in flames within a week." She stood up and brushed herself off. "I'm not nearly as stupid as that."

"Could have fooled me somedays." Blaze replied as he stood up as well. "You know Dracula will be upset to know we're gone. That means he has to make the decisions." Blaze smiled picturing the passive, yet slightly annoyed look of his godfather's face.

"Hate to tell you this, Blaze dear, but Dracula has very little interest in the Above World except fot the occasional blood-filled human, and I trust him to be more responisible than you." Lilia looked around at their surroundings. "Now get up. I want to hit a town before dark."

Blaze dusted off his pants and shirt.
"I know, Dracula has little intrest in this world. What's I'm saying is: He pretty much has to run the council now that we're both gone. No one else makes the rules. Why do you think it's in so much chaos?" He said.

"Thats why Demeter and Osiris are there. They have just as much, if not more power than Dracula," Lilia smirked. "Plus, once Dracula finds out you're missing, he'll come looking in a heart beat, leaving the council relativly under control." Oh yes. Lilia had done her homework.

"You know nothing as usual. Dracula may not be able to beat Demeter and Osiris together but one on one and he's more than a match. Why do you think Dracula's been around so long?" It seemed only natural that Blaze took his side. They were close. "Dracula can keep the council 'relatively under control' as you so aptly put it. But I'd trust Demeter and Osiris before I trust you." He stomped in front of Lilia, his haughty attitude was showing it's face again.

Lilia looked at Blaze angrily. "I may not be trustworthy to you, but your opinion of me is absolutly worthless." She marched over and pocked his chest to put emphisis on her next words. "You are a rude (poke), selfish (poke), cruel (poke), bloodthirsty (poke) and in many regards, you are just as stupid as you consider those humans you look down on so much!" She turned and walked away. "An I may 'know nothing', but in my experiance, polite manners have gotten me a lot farther than arrogance and a supirior attitude. NOW COME ON!!"

Blaze blinked and then luaghed loudly. He almost started to cry he was laughing so hard. "Oh my god." He said when he finally cuaght his breath. "That was a first!" He took a deep breath to satisfy his aching lungs. "You're so pretty when you're angry." He said nonchalantly as he walked up next to her.

Count to ten, Lilia, count to ten... she thought to herself. "Oh, I want to smack you so badly right now..." she muttered trying to walk faster just to have the satisfaction of having the image of him trying to keep up with her. "Especially when you're being sarcastic. I can't stand that."

She turned her head slightly to look at the person who called her name. She was surprised to see that the tall pale figure that she spent much of her time with when she was young was now standing in front of her. She turned to face him keeping her elegant appearance and holding that air of grace around her. "Yes, I was looking for the Christen Chamber in the Water aria but as you can see I have not managed to find either."

"Who said I was being sarcastic?" Blaze asked, allowing her to walk ahead of him. While he did have enough strength to argue he did not have the strength to play little games like who would be in the lead. He yawned and looked at the ground and it was then that he realised he was different. He looked human! His firery orange and yellow hair was replaced with a light brown color and his tanned skin was now paler than before. "What in the name of hades!?" He exclaimed and looked himself all over.
"We're in the Above World aren't we!?"
Dracula nodded slightly. "I'd be delighted to take you there. It's this way." He said. He couldn't shake the feeling that he knew the girl, but he couldn't quiet remember where.

"Thank you, I'm sure it would be better if you just pointed me in the dirrection. I really don't want to take up any of your time." She was thinking it through. The less time she spent with him, the smaller the chance that he would remember her.

"I am in a hurry." Dracula admitted. "Very well. Head straight down this corridor until you come to a hallway with blue marble. Follow that past three doors and the fourth door on you left is the room you seek." He smiled alitle and straightened up.
"I get the feeling we've met. Maybe I'll see you around." He then waved and walked off.
