Kara blushed a bit as she petted Skye on the back, "Not yet sweetie, but I'm sure your Mommy is around here somewhere."

Probably worried like mad, Kara thoughted a bit worriedly as she showed Serenity down the steps, "We were on the fourth floor, is there's still a few more steps," she explained.

Serenity nodded and followed behind Kara. Her ear twitched a bit as she heard a child's voice taunting someone: I'm gonna beatcha to the top!

"Who is that?" she asked Kara curiously, meaning the voice.

Celebor giggled at Lore's words, but he didn't slow down at all; rather, he increased his speed and ended up going so quickly he was tripping over his hands.

"Oof!" he giggled, hitting his chin once on one of the steps. He turned the corner of the third flight of stairs and stopped short, seeing the others coming down. He saw Donovan and Kara and someone he didn't know but who looked a lot like his Mommy, but he didn't pay any attention to them: he only paid attention to Skye, the object of their search.

"MOMMY! I FOUND SKYE!" he hollered back down the stairs. "GRAMMA GOTS HER! COME ON!"

Still on the second flight of stairs, Elnara smiled with relief. "Thank the Valar," she breathed, and gave Lore's hand an unconscious squeeze.

Skye spotted Celebor and sprang to life: her wings started fluttering excitedly, and she clapped her hands and pointed down at him, looking up at Kara. "Gamma! Ce'bor! Ce'bor, Gamma!" she said happily.

Donovan smirked at that, he found it a bit amusing Celebor's antics. The kid hadn't changed that much at times, thought thankfully less demanding in his sugar intake.

Elnara's eyes were drawn first to Skye, but she noticed an extra shadow on the stairs as well, and she blinked for a moment as if she couldn't believe her eyes.

"Mother?" she breathed, completely shocked. Then she let go of Lore's hand and ran up the remainder of the steps, slipping past Kara and throwing her arms around her mother's neck. Tears slipped from her eyes, but they were tears of joy. Her voice had disappeared on her.

Skye had her hands put out to Elnara and was quite miffed with Elnara passed her by to go see her Nako. She pouted, and her wings slowed their fluttering. "Mommy!" she complained, reaching her hands out again.

Celebor stood against one wall, completely confused. Why would Elnara go see the other lady instead of Skye, who she had been looking for so desperately?

Skye gave up trying to catch Elnara's attention and turned and looked down the stairs again - where she saw her other favourite person. "Lore! Lore!" she giggled, her wings fluttering happily once again. She reached out her hands to him. "Want Lore!"

Lore gave a nervous nodding bow to Serenity, even though they had talked about meeting her, he hadn't expected to meet her now. He had enough trouble wrapping around his head that he was meeting her adopted family. He followed Elnara up the stairs slowly until he stood in front of Kara.

He held out his arms sheepishly, "If you don't mind," he told Kara.

Kara giggled as she handed Skye to Lore, "Why would I mind? Skye is pretty much demanding to be held by you."

Which was so sweet, kind of reminded her when Azaela started to look for Donovan as her daddy.
