My flute is a Selmer and I've had it since 4th grade... and it wasn't even new when I bought it. So it's pretty much a piece of crap by now. XD
It's nothing fancy either, no open holes or anything. But I still love it. 3nodding

I've had mine for a year. Pearl, open hole. Extra b foot/gizmo key. Sterling silver headjoint. Around $1500, it has a snall mark where i accidentally bent it, i have a welding mark at the top of the A flat pad/key which randomly fell off one day, and though there's no mark, it was once hit by a color guard flag, leaving a dent the size of a thumbprint in the head joint. It's also a straight G.

I have a professional Pearl model with a solid silver headjoint, a silverplated body, open holes, offset G, B foot, and a split E. I just got it a couple weeks ago so I remember everything about it. my old one was a piece of crap. it was a four year old Jean baptiste student model, silver plated, closed hole, C foot, closed hole, offset G.

my flute is a gemeinhardt (which i can never spell) closed hole, in need of new pads (MY F NATURAL WILL NOT WORK -__-"), old as dirt (4th grade much?), and has a really cool top for some reason XD
i love my flute, but i really want a gold plated one
an open hole would be nice too :]

Lmao. SO! I've had my flute since 1st grade, about 8 years. It's a Yamaha 325. Solid silver head joint, close-holed keys, and low-C foot joint.
EXCITING NEWS! I'm getting an upgrade, a BIG upgrade.
Muramatsu GX: all silver, thin walls, open-holed, low-B foot joint, and gold-plated embouchure plate
I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!

Weeeell, I have a Gemeinhardt student model that I've had since 5th grade, and it's honestly not in bad shape! Sure, a few scratches and dents from marching band, but they're really minor. ^^ Like most student models, no B footjoint, no gold lip-plate... just pretty basic. ^^ On the OTHER hand, I'm planning on buying a Gemeinhardt intermediate flute with the B footjoint, possibly a gold lip-plate?, open-holed flute. ^^ I'm ubah excited! We're gonna get it when taxes come back (that's when we buy, like, everything. razz )!

Well I have a Gemeinhardt, silver plated, closed whole, C foot, offset G, with both a straight headjoint and curved headjoint. Only 3 months old. Got it after I dropped my piece of s**t student flute and it wouldn't work and it would have cost more to fix than to just buy a new one. (it was total accident)

While waiting for this page to load I was playing with the mouth piece... (Making random tribal sounds- covering the end then uncovering over and over...)
Had it since fourth grade, gold mouth, no holes... shows how much it's been used.

wow my flute? It's not quite the flute you would oggle over, more like the kind you would wanna shoot and put out of it's misery, But is has grown on me. I dropped that thing so many times that now I have the reflexes of a cat. It's a classic old mel-owen piece of work. I also named my flute.. is that weird? lol his name is jeffery.
P.S I am pretty sure that it is a Gemeinhardt flute. I memorized the code to it to.. WOOT go me.
