Hearing Charles' instructions, he moved in front of Jenny - who appeared to be stuck between shock and anger. If he wasn't careful, she would try to stamp on some of the intruders herself - after what she'd done to those louts in the park last year, with the spray paint, it wouldn't surprise him. It was funny, looking back - but at the time, a mixture of embarrassment and horror.
However, Jenny herself was under no illusions - she touched Zayd lightly on the shoulder, then retreated, following Ruri - who looked like she knew where she was going.
He waved the knives menacingly, unwilling to get fully into the fight - he probably looked a tad ridiculous, armed with kitchen knives like that, but they were sharp enough.

Being as they were right beside the transporter, Lorina moved quickly, pushing Airaka with her, to a corner of the room. There, now who ever it was, wouldn't bump into her. At first she had thought it was one of the supers coming back in, but she caught the surprise looks on some of the other's faces. That boredom worry that was there when the lights came back on was replaced with pure fear from the looks of her faces. She clutched her stomach, and leaned against the wall, trying to seem as invisible as possible without vomiting.

As Charles began belting out instruction, she raised her head from her trembling hands. Oh, they were ready for this, were they? SHE HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON.
"Breath, " Airaka muttered.
Looking over to her guardian, she paused and nodded her head. Airaka nodded back, before Lorina pushed her towards the same direction the other parents were running.

The reassuring words of her guardian weren't all that reassuring. She did realize, though, that trapping herself in the corner would do no good if she got hurt bad. Glancing over the people, she noted Raleigh and Erol in the center. No way she would get caught up in their fighting. It would be an all out brawl. Then again, that seemed all her powers were good at. Biting her lip, she looked for the girls. One went invisible, and Megan.. She didn't know what Megan was doing. The only one left was the African boy.

Coming to the conclusion that he was better then nobody, she trotted over to the boy. She didn't know anything about his powers, and even less about himself. But he was safer then anyone else it seemed, even with him waving his knives around. She gave him a shaky thumbs up, prayed to god that he wouldn't be as bad as the boys, and took a spot behind him. Ultimately, her body was shaking worse then someone with hypothermia, but there was no way she planned on using her powers if she could help it. Anyway, if it came to it, she could always vomit on someone.

Aliena twisted her tongue trying not to laugh; did these people even have an idea what they were up against? She shook her head; these kids weren’t as innocent as they seemed to look like, she herself wasn’t a force to recon with especially after being waken up in the wee hours of the morning because a band of people had decided to attack safe heaven. Letting her own eyes change a color, red though Aliena rushed her opposite. A spaded tail poked its way threw her jeans and small demon like horns sprouted atop her head, Ally would have to be careful with her wings, but right now there were more pressing matters.

Her hands smacked right into another persons as both started pushing on each other, playing what would have been a simple ‘uncle’ game if they had been friends, although this time both were trying to snap their opponents wrists off. Aliena turned her eyes slightly wanting to watch out for the kids who were now fighting back with all their might against the intruders, this was all it took for whomever was in front of her to make a side sweep with her legs and knock Ally off her feet. Her back hit the floor knocking the wind out of her and making her lay there for a few seconds wondering what had happened.

But it didn’t take her long to place every piece of the puzzle back together and start her own assault from the floor on the person who had seemed to think they had been clever enough to throw her to the ground like that.

Candice eyed the Alliance members and tried to pick out a 'scraggler' One who was busy fighting with another, who would not be paying attention to his or her surroundings. She felt herself hoping that the late night playing around with Ace would have paid off and gripped the pencil tight in her hand. Not the best of weapons but with her little trick, she hoped it was the location that would make it a lot more dangerous. Spotting someone who was a little off to the side and about to chase the guardians she made her move. Running over the short room, she consentraited on staying invisible, a feat that was harder to keep up while trying to dodge around the flailing bodies. At the last moment she dived onto the floor, wipping her arm around as if to stab the enemies leg. Her arm swept right through as she released the pencil deep within the man's thigh. Eyes shut tight she willed herself solid for a moment, forcing the pencil to do the same, before scrambling out of there. She wasn't quite sure if her invisibility had held and wanted to be hidden just in case.

Joshua felt like bashing his head into the screen. Every move he made to thwart the assailent, the hacker managed to overide a few moments later. This kid was good, whoever they were. Trying another tactic, he isolated the few computers that were in the room and then hard-re-booted all other systems in the Haven. That would at least purge all recent changes to the system and now the hacker would be trapped in the room with them. Unfortuatly, now everyone was trapped in this room. There would be no teleporting outside, and the rest of the Safe Haven was closed off to anyone teleporting in. "Oh s**t." Now Joshua really felt like bashing his head into the monitor.

Ah - wait, what? Was she expecting him to protect her or something? He glanced back over his shoulder, an eyebrow raised, then shrugged. At least she could watch his back - ah, something he could do! The idea came to his mind in a moment. Still holding his knives, he pulled off his bandana clumsily, pulling out the extra eye with a 'squeaky pop' - kinda like hydrogen and fire. The thing split in three, hovering about him - quite literally watching his back. Dropping the bandana, he turned back to the fray - just in time to engage his first 'attacker', who was carrying something like a sword, made of wind or something similar. Catching the blade on the hilt of his knife, he pushed it away so it slid off of the blade of his knife, trying to get under the man's defences with his other knife.

There wasn't anywhere for them to go. They were effectively locked into this area of the Safe Haven, in a ridiculously dangerous position. Swearing Ruriska retreated to a corner furthest away from where the battles were starting, and hoped no one took it upon themselves to attack the obviously defenceless woman and child.

Raeigh was watching the approach of one particular kid, allowing a little amused smirk as the boy barged his way through his own ranks... towards him. Ignoring it for the moment, he turned his head to the side as Erol came up beside him. He'd been keeping tabs on the other teen of course, though there wasn't much need. Erol could take care of himself. One less person he was going to have to save. Unlike all those other idiots who called themselves supers-in-training.

"Oh, don't worry about me." Was Raleigh's cocky reply, complete with a sarcastic quirk of an eyebrow. "Try not to be so weak today... or bring the roof down on us."

Raleigh was glad that he had studied Aikido as much as he had. Letting out a breath through his nose, he centered himself, feeling a calmness wash through him. His feet shifted into a fighting stance. Beside him Yasuo crouched and waited for an invisible command. It came and in a flash the wooden beast was gone, darting to the side towards a man in his twenties. The man went down with a scream as the swift beast barrelled him over, needle sharp teeth buried in his shoulder.

Raleigh started forward to meet the wave of enemies.

"Weak you say..." it was laughable but for some reason he couldn't help feeling that was a personal punch to his ego. Whatever, he'd worry about that another time. For now he had matters to tend to and he had to figure a way to bring down the house without literally bringing down the house. Such was the life of a superpower...

Damn uselss the whole lot of them they were. As an onslaught of intruders made their way toward him. Smirking he crouched low waiting for them to get in his line of attack. Unlike Raleigh he hadn't trained in special fighting styles, his new training focusing souly on his powers and closed quarter melee attacks. It suited his style better anyway. Let the enemy get close then...

Releasing a steady stream of shock waves into the ground he tripped up his attackers their eyes growing wide at the sudden movement of the ground. It was only for a breif moment enough to catch them unawares. Pushing forward with an added burst of energy, Erol met his first attacker with a swift right hook to the jaw, another was clipped with a round house kick as one who thought he had the slip on him found himself pinned to the adjecent wall with a shockwave enduced punch. He was out like a light, the wall behind him concaving from the force of Erol's punch.

He laughed at this, "Well damn I really wanted to cut loose..." he muttered. There was no room to do so here. He'd undoubtly would bring the roof in over their heads if he shook things up too much. Sighing he scratched his head letting his guard down for the briefest of moments. Enough for a group of their attackers to dog pile him to the ground. "Aww you gotta be shittin' me..." he muttered falling to the ground and pushing forcefully against the others. "Damnit get off!" He yelled letting a short burst of energy form over his body and push the dog pile into the air. Sure it wasn't the most smoothest of moves but effective in a pinch. He stood semi-surrounded the wall behind him his only friend. Cracking knuckles together he waited it was all about timing.

Daniel's hands burst out in flame, their owner sustaining the power with something in the back of his mind. The red-hot fire didn't harm his hands, though it seemed to be originating from them. His only thought was to beat an apology out of the boy in front of him. For some reason, his hatred for all of them was focused on this one boy alone. Who cared about his mission or whatever the reason they were there was. He had his own business to attend to. Then they could destroy the place or whatever.

He ran quickly at the boy once the small wooden monster had left. Even if it was there, he could easily take it down. His hands still flaming, he threw a swift punch at Raleigh followed by a second, follow-up attack. No way that this kid could be harder than training had been. "You should have asked for his help when you had the chance." He began cracking his fingers, each hand in turn moving to the next to move all of the joints. "Too late now." A trio of small fire balls formed in his hand. He quickly tossed them at Raleigh, hoping that he knew what he was doing. He hadn't mastered this yet, so it might not even work right.

But he could damn well try.

---

It should have worked! That kid was a lot stronger than he'd seemed to be, initially... This definitely hadn't been a very good idea. No no no. He should have just stayed home, but no, he had decided to go with the Agency to fight. It was his own fault. Not even a dog pile could stop this other guy, who didn't seem like much at all. So maybe charging wasn't the way to go. Having been knocked far from the small fight -as he'd been on top, he'd gotten some distance- the tall boy decided to actually rejoin the ranks instead of waiting until all of them were down. No doubt they hadn't realized that their group wasn't going to be enough yet.

He kept enough distance from the boy so that he wouldn't be hurt by the attack. Clenching his eyes shut enough so that he could concentrate, he called the power that he knew he kept somewhere to use aganst the other teen. His left eye peeked open to see if it had worked. Surely enough, standing next to him there was a perfect replica. He could make more, of course, but the more he made, the less control he had over them. With only one eye still open, he motioned for the clone to go toward the shock-wave kid.

His copy nodded in return and jumped straight through the ring surrounding Erol to attack him. In the meantime, the real male stood far enough outside the radius to avoid an attack from someone else. His eyes closed again, and he made another one to protect him just in case someone decided to go for the one who didn't seem to be doing anything. His first replica shot a hard kick at the shock wave boy. Though it wasn't the real one, it would still hurt if it made contact.

---

The one to sweep kick Aliena to the ground looked frightened after the demon-like woman's rage was thrust upon her. Her arms went up in a fighting position, but she hadn't really been trained in hand-to-hand combat. She was a distance fighter, not a close-range one! Sure, she could kick someone and knock them over, but that was about all.

"If you start something, then be prepared to finish it!" The first woman said from behind Aliena, not specifiying which of the two she was actually speaking to. Her hat had fallen to the ground, having disintigrated until only half of it was left. She grabbed the flailing tail of the one on the ground to keep her away from the younger woman. Her eyes glowed brighter now, showing off the bright green the took hold of everything, including what was supposed to be white. In grabbing the tail, she doomed herself to be the one getting hit by the attacks. "O-Okay!" The other jumped back and pulled down a single lens attached to a band that went around her head.

The lightly-colored lens had a crosshair directly in the center of it to help her aim -she never had had good aim, so it helped a lot. The girl held her right arm out in front of her and made sure the crosshair was pointing in the direction of the scary lady instead of the one helping her. With her arm set, a short row of what could have been thought of as darts formed up her arm from her index finger to her elbow joint. She fired each of them off at the woman, moving back at the recoil each time. The final few shots didn't go precisely where she wanted them to, so she prepared another round.

---

The 'scraggler' as Candice thought of him as didn't notice as the girl fazed through his leg and stabbed him with a pencil. Collapsing in pain from the already-bleeding wound, he hit the ground angrily. His attack on the ones retreating hadn't worked, and now what did he have to deal with? Someone who could disappear. Staring at the spot that the writing implement had been jammed into, he concentrated all of his power on it. A faint glow surrounded the object. "One, two!" He said quickly, telepathically pulling out the pencil from the wound before screaming in pain for a moment.

"How about you stop being a wimp and show yourself!" He yelled angrily at the unseen attacker. "Or I can just find you, if that's the way you want to play." Pushing himself off of the floor, he held the pencil up in the air, the faint glow still there. It levitated in the air as it followed him. His eyes shot in the direction of someone running away. Though he wasn't sure if it was the one who had cowardly attacked him, he ran after her nonetheless. ...More like limped quickly.

---

Zayd's attacker was surprised to see him pull out a third eye. So that's what he could do, then? Neat! He didn't stop himself from laughing as he threw his weight onto the weapon he'd made. "That's really cool! I wish I could do that." He said immaturely, narrowly avoiding a kitchen knife's point. "I think you got some of my hair that time." Disappointed, then teen wrapped some currents around one of the blades so that it wouldn't try to cut him up again.

Good old fashion hand-to-hand combat. Whoever this kid was, there was no way he could have trained as hard as Raleigh had over these last few years. Despite the flames rising out of the kid's palm, he felt confident. Meeting Daniel's angry gaze as the other ran towards him, he also strode froward to meet the attack.

First, assess your opponent.

Raleigh decided he would listen to his sensei for once and went on the defensive as Daniel threw the first punch, his elbow snapping up to block the punch and his stance shifting his body backwards to evade the second. Hmm, wasn't there that saying, don't play with fire?

"I'm not going to need anyone's help to take you down." He replied calmly, taking a step back to see what Daniel was doing with his hands.

Oh... fireballs. Not good. With a frown Raleigh threw himself to the side in the nick of time, feeling the heat of the closest one on his skin. This b*****d better not singe his hair. Said hair was hanging down Raleigh's back in a loose ponytail and he was beginning to wish that it were fire proof.

Yasuo's head jerked up from where he had been steadily gnawing on a screaming mans shoulder and in a flash of speed his was running towards Daniel from the side. Teeth bared, he went for the other teens legs while Raleigh picked himself up.

Usual Aliena would had yelled at anyone who touched her tail even if they had helped her or not, if she had been mad before, now she was down right pissed. She was pulled back with ease it seemed by another woman from behind, although who she was helping was not to clear to Ally. She then noticed how the woman jumped back from attack and prepared herself to shoot something at them, that’s when it dawned on Aliena that this women was no street fighter able to hold her ground on close combat, this woman was range only!

Having pulled her tail or not Aliena would repay her favour on the one who had saved her, scrambling to get back up, Ally shoved both of her wings in between the dart shooting girl and her. The dart like pointed things pieced her wings, but weren’t enough to go threw them, with a certain pause in the other girl’s hits, Aliena lunged at her rugby style. She’d break that girls arm in 5 when she’d be able to get her hands wrapped around her neck. Her wings were stinging and dripping a bit of blood, but that wouldn’t stop her.

If Aliena could just pin her down and suck her living soul right out of her she’d have a great meal AND have killed the girl, this though appealed to her very much.
‘I wonder where or how the trainees are doing…’

"Gah!" he slid backwards, cursing the slippery floors - he wasn't as physically strong as he'd like to be. "Well, you could do with a haircut" he grinned, trying out some of the sass from the latest series he was into. Unable to see the new current about the blade, he raised the knives, assuming a defensive posture once more. The eyes floated about him, watching in various directions for other attacks - there was a real melee developing, and he wouldn't put it past someone to try and incapacitate him whilst he was concentrating on something else.

[neat, the NPCs are being controlled :'D *so glad she doesn't have to fight a battle all by herself*]

Erol was still surrounded which suited him just fine. He liked a good fight not often that he'd have the chance to do so. But here he was, a wall to his back a group of unknown attackers at his front...

Frowning he glared at the crowd noting movement coming from the masses. Soon someone punched through an came straight for him. "s**t yeah!" he cried out in excitement and readied himself for the blow.

When the kid made his attack Erol was pushed against the wall a wicked smile on his face despite the fact he was in a fight to the death or so it would seem. His bubble of energy was easily penetrable as it was only used as a means to keep himself from being crushed during the dogpile.

Now he simply powered up enough to chanel his shock abilities into a punch or a kick. Anything useful at the time considering this was now closed quarters combat.

His eyes stayed focused on the kid in front of him, dispite the many battles taking place around. None of them mattered right now. If any of the others got in his way... He'd figure that out when the time came. For the moment, his fight was only his own. Let the others fight on if they wished. "We'll just have to see about that, won't we." So what if he was feeling just slightly too confident? He could put this guy in his place anytime -and now was as good a time as any. Having not bothered to form more fireballs in his other hand, Daniel bit his lip. Damn. They train these losers to be fast enough to dodge these, then?

He smiled. He'd just have to outwit this one's speed. The fireballs had flown straight past Raleigh and continued flying. He flicked up his index finger and gave it a half-circle turn, the growing fireballs now turning to come at Raleigh from behind. And they would have hit, too. He was positive of that fact.

If it hadn't been for that crazy monster-thing coming at him from the side. His head flipped to the side Yasuo was coming from, almost giving him whiplash. In a split second, he turned the fireballs at the creature with a hint of fear in his eyes. No way that stupid mutt or whatever it is is going to eat me! The flaming spheres became even larger as they sped toward Yasuo.

---

The long-range shooter screamed as the large dragon-woman ran her way. In a panic, she started running. What else was she supposed to do? She couldn't just stand there when she was about to be killed. Quickly realizing that she wouldn't be able to outrun the winged creature, she began to panic more and breathe quickly. "Help!" She cried out, still running for her life. Behind the slim glass targeter, tears were forming. When she'd decided to come here, the second to last thing that she wanted to do was die. The last thing was to be murdered by a rabid lady.

"Would you get ahold of yourself already?!" The other woman was sprinting after the two in an attempt to help the younger girl. If she didn't do something soon, it was obvious that the other would die. Painfully, by the looks of her pursuer. "Shoot at her or something!" She wasn't sure exactly what to do, so she decided to attempt to slow the woman down again. A powerful acid began to fly toward Aliena. Maybe this will get her attention... Of course, then she'd be the one stuck with the wrath of the frightening female. But at least that would give her comrade a chance. For all she knew, the dragon's hide could have been tougher than titanium. She knew that the acid could burn through the metal, but something harder than that?

---

His attacker dragged his hand through his hair, taking a careful look at each of the strands. "You think so? I don't know, I just got one a little while ago." He said in all seriousness, as if talking to someone on the weekend. "You'd be the last person I asked to do it, though." With a grin, he ran toward Zayd. His blade came down from above, slashing at the multiple-eyed boy. Those eyes were making him just slightly uncomfortable -there were enough eyes watching as it was.

((8D If anyone doesn't want me to play an NPC, then just say so, please. <3 [Other than the ones that I've already started playing. XD;]))

---

The main attacker -the double, in this case- came at Erol with all of the power that he had in him. In the very least, he had to buy time for the real thing to make more. How many more, exactly, can he make before he completely loses control? He thought idlely to himself as the kick went straight for Erol. This child couldn't be that tough... That attack had probably been a lucky shot. But something inside of him wanted to know if the kid could actually do it again.

An angry scowl appeared on his face after finding out that the kick could not even make it through the energy bubble. This copy didn't have as much power as the original, which was a fatal flaw. If only the real one had been just a little less lazy... Maybe then he could have made it through the barrier to collide with the kid's smug face. It was really getting annoying.

In the background of the fight, an already partially exhausted Evo clenched shut his eyelids in an attempt to bring one more clone out. At best, with a lot of rest and energy, he'd been able to make four. But that was under the best conditions possible, and after that, he'd been utterly exhausted and unable to create any more for a while. He, too, was feeling the frustration at his laziness.

"Seriously, thats a baaad haircut" he said confidently, in the instant before he rushed towards him. Diving out of the way, he rolled diagonally, with a little yelp - he didn't want to get hit by any sort of sword, even if it was just made of air! As he rolled past him, he slashed upwards with a knife, hoping for it to connect. Meanwhile, his eyes surrounded his attacker, hoping to distract him while Zayd got out of the way.

This guy... he was looking too smug. For someone whose attack had just missed he was looking way too happy with himself. The frowining Raleigh had just reached an upright position while Yasuo had just about reached Daniel. The next few moments happened way too fast, leaving the teen momentarily stunned.

Following Daniel's gaze he turned amd looked behind him, only to see the fireballs racing in his direction. There wasn't any time to dodge. Raleigh's eyes widened in surprise with a little hint of fear flashing.

That... that b*****d. Crap.

But at the last moment they veered away, just missing him. Raleigh took a second to get the information across before he shook himself back into action. "Yasuo! Move!" He yelled while also running towards Daniel.

The wooden creature had no fear of the fireballs racing towards him, simply continued his attempt to bite down as hard as he could on Daniel's leg. But Raleigh's sudden command made sure he didn't have the chance to get a real good grip. The creation whipped backwards away from the fireballs, attempting to get out of their path.

Not quite fast enough. One of them hit and the changed Yasuo went reeling backwards, the area where the flame had come in contact with black and smouldering.

With a bitter grin, Raleigh used this chance to get in close, fist swinging forward in fast punch.
