Tommy frowned in frustration as he continued to try and open the case with just his wings. With an exasperated sigh, he glanced at Victor for a moment before grumbling to himself and sitting down on the floor. The task was easily accomplished with just his feet...however, he seemed embarrassed doing this...like it was one more thing that made him an animal. Another sigh escaped him before he put the DVD in the tray.

Victor felt a little guilty for suggesting Tommy use his feet to finally get the deed done, silently he worried if what were his hands now would become another pair of legs, unflexible and useless with no dexterity at all.
The lizardman pulled himself over more, letting his large tail flop down to the floor, giving more than enough room on the couch for Tommy to join him as he hit the button for the tray to load and start the movie.

"Thherre we ggo....Movie'sss sssstarrtingg!" Victor smiled a little "Never ssssaw thhissss one but hearrd of it awhhile aggo"

A grin lit Tommy's face as he crutched himself over to the couch. It took effort for him to climb up and then turn around to face the television...but he managed it without slapping Victor in the face with a wing. He tried to get comfortable, sitting there on the couch...but...something was wrong. It just didn't feel right. Anxiously, he glanced up at the ceiling, wishing they'd install a pull-up bar in here from him to hang from. But...such was life on the island. He gave a weak smile, trying his best not to show how uncomfortable he was. "Well...it's far from an 'intelligent' movie, I've gotta warn you. It's actually pretty stupid...buuut, if you're in the mindset to let your mind wander...I think you'll like it."

Victor nodded his head at Tommy's warning of it being a stupid movie.
"Thhatssss alrrigghht, I usssually don't exspecct ssssome hhorrorr moviessss to rreally be too sssmarrt" the Lizardman gave a short chuckle, watching the movie start to unfold, having to keep his head tilted to the side to watch it with one eye, only vaguely noticing Tommy's discomfort, and for the first time, Tommy's lack of pants. But this realization was inturrupted by the Sumatran Rat-Monkey being taken from the island, and the zoologist who helped catch it getting messily dismembered by his assistants because of scratches the cursed animal had given him.

"Now thhatsss an interresssstingg way to sssstarrt a movie"

Tommy couldn't help but laugh at that. "Oh...just wait," he said with a grin as he once more shifted, trying to get a better position. Of course...the movie quickly slowed down after that point...up until the mother of the hero is attacked by the rat-monkey that is. His grin died slowly though, as he realized just how much color had improved movies...everything in shades of gray and very faint other shades just...dulled everything else.

Victor shook his head, grinning a little as he watched the mother get bit, and then kill the evil Ratmonkey with her heel, it's eyes getting squished out of it's head. "Afterrr sssseeingg Lorrd of Thhe Rringgs I bet not many people ccould believe Peterr Jacckksssson ccould hhave made a ssssplatterrr flicckk likke thhissss"

"Hah! Yeah, I hear ya there. Of course, you haven't seen the movie he did even before this one...something called 'Bad Taste.' It was by far one of the worst...yet horribly entertaining, movies I've ever seen." He grinned a bit, a chitter escaping his mouth every now and then as he ran a wing over his ears a few times.

"But yeah this kind of thing's happening a lot lately...Sam Raimi, the director who did Spiderman? Well, way before that, he did a series of movies called 'The Evil Dead.' If you're looking for a good B horror movie, there's no better."
PostPosted: Sun Apr 29, 2007 5:46 pm

"I've hhearrd oof the Evil Dead sssserriesss, but only ssssaw thhe Arrmy Of Darrkknesssss Movie, thhat wassss funny" Victor said with a smile, watching the movie progress silently, wrinkling his snout in disgust as he saw the Mother's wound burst, some of the pus landing in a man's pudding dessert, then the man ate it!

"Aaaww, now thhat issss grossss" Victor gave another short chuckle when the mother's ear fell off. "thhinggsss definately not lookkingg ggood forr the mothherr" the lizardman observed, shifting his tail and a few of his legs as well.

"Maybe whhen thhe Thheaterr isssss finisssshhhed we can convinccce sssomeone to get a movie prrojecctorr and watcchh sssome new moviess on a biggerr sssssccrreen"

Tommy laughed again at Victor's disgust. This was the real reason he loved watching movies...mainly just to see other people's reactions to them. He continued to grin as he occasionally began grooming himself...only to stop before he got going with a little confused look on his face. He shook his head and looked back to the television.

"You know, that's actually a really good idea...hell, we can get a decent sound system and everything...it'd be kind of like a drive-in movie theatre," he said, nodding. "I think I even saw a few trees nearby that I could hang from," he thought out loud, "sitting like this is uncomfortable as all hell."

Victor noticed Tommy grooming himself but quietly ignored it, watching as everything seemed to get worse for the Hero as his mother kept literally falling apart and degrading further.

"It would be sssomething nicce to hhave, ggive people sssomethhingg to lookk forrwarrd to do and ggatherr...hhave sssome fun"
The lizardman looked back over at Tommy when he mentioned being uncomfortible sitting like that. "I bet thhey ccould put a pull-barr in herre forr you, but thhen you be lookkingg at thhe TV upssside down, you'd hhave to flip thhe TV orr gget a lenssss to flip it forr you"

Tommy smirked at the thought. "Yeah...we'd have to get some sort of pully system going on here...or even better, one of those wall-mounted plasma screens...you could just flip it whenever you wanted. But...s**t, a pull-up bar would be nice," he said while nodding, glancing over at Victor. He silently wondered just how the lizard-man was getting along...was there anyway for him to be comfortable in his current position? A tail that long would annoy the hell out of the bat-man...always getting it caught in doors like he did recently or sitting on it wrong. Ugh.

His thoughts were cut short with chuckling though when the kung-fu preacher began kicking the s**t out of the zombies. After he calmed down a bit, grinning, he looked to Victor, "But...how're you holdin' up though, man?"
PostPosted: Sun Apr 29, 2007 7:15 pm

"Thhe idea withh thhe plassssma ssssccrreen on the wall issss good" Victor said as he had to shift his body again, it was a bit uncomfortible for him but it was tolerable, normally he'd lay down and take up the entire couch but he was alright where he was now, pushing his tail away once again to keep form getting a cramp there.

Victor laughed as the preacher gave his famous line of 'I kick arse for the lord!' then looked back over at Tommy when he asked his question.
"I'm.....Okk...Ccan't ssssay I'm alrrigghht ccausssse I'm not, but I'm Not assss Bad assss I wasssss beforre" Victor said truthfully, remaining silent for sometime before laughing again, at the part where the hapless hero taking the zombie baby to the park

Tommy nodded a few times with a sigh and eyed Victor's tail. Once again wondering just what the hell they did to that poor man. Other than a groan he gave out while stretching out a wing, he was quiet also as they both watched the movie which was oh so funnier to watch drunk. However, even though this was the tenth time he's seen it, Dead Alive still cracked him up.

Victor shifted his tail again, it was difficult to deal with somwthing that was as long as yourself and was attached to your body. The lizardman watched as the Zombies the main character had been keeping in the basement started to get out of hand and start to attack the party guests, which in turn created more zombies to deal with. Oh yeah it was definately getting to be a very gory movie, it was getting so unbelievably horrific that Victor laughed as some guy actually got his ribcage torn out of his body

"I ccan't believe thhissss! hhow mucchh fake blood did thhey ussse forr thhissss movie?"

A chuckle-chitter escpaed Tommy as Victor laughed. "If I can remember correctly...something akin to five gallons a second coming up in this scene here..." he said as the hero burst back into the house with a lawnmower strapped to his chest. Tommy continued to chuckle as the hero proceeded to chop them all up into goo...goo which he began to slip on. "Goddamn I love this movie...next time we've gotta bring some beer."
