"That's not what I mean," Sen cut in. She paused immediatly afterward. He'd tried to dig her out? She'd think about it later when her head didn't hurt this bad. "I mean you're about to start crying like a wimp," she explained.
If he was going to cry he must have fallen or cut himself or something, right? Sen was very proud she hadn't shed a tear. Even though she really, really wanted to because her head reeeeally hurt and--
Wait.
"Who're you?" Ohahira startled.
"Oh, uh, Ohahira is my name. I came to help because your brother seemed to be having trouble."

Yue gasped at his sister, upset at her, yet again. Cry? Grrrr. He was wanting to cry because he couldn't get her out! Like he'd give her the pleasure of knowing that he was trying to save her. She would just ignore that and be mean to him again. "No, I don't cry." He sniffled and wiped his face, smudging durt all around his cheeks. So instead of just the two white stripes that rested against the brim of his nose, now he had dark streaks across his face. He must of loved just lovely.
He turned his attention to the stranger though, mimicing his sister's movement. Who was she? "Ohahira..." The word was foreign on the little yellow cub's tongue, and he did his best to remember it all. He shot a smug look at his sister though. Ahah! Proof he was trying to help her!

Sen rolled her eyes. She regretted doing it immediatly after as the pounding in her head increased dramaticaly. "Ugh," the cub groaned, pawing at her face. Which, didn't help any, but it was distracting if nothing else. "Huh?" All four paws on the ground, she faced Ohahira. "Really?"
"Yes," the rogue lioness responded, eyes going from Yue to Sen, Yue to Sen. "I don't mean to pry--" In all honesty she had full intention of prying. "--but are you two having some sibling issues?"
"He's the issue," Sen curtly told the other female, who frowned at her.

The little golden cub huffed. He? The issue? He sure begged to differ, especially when it had to do with his sister.
"Well, I'm not the one that fell into a pile of boooones." He shot a glare at his sibiling before giving her the cold shoulder, closing his eyes in a pout. The two of them probably looked silly having their little fight in the graveyard, but any field was a battlefield, obviously.
He took a few side steps away from his sister and closer to the female that was watching them at the moment. "Well, I guess I should thank you for helping my sister, since she can't thank you herself." He gave a pouty lip as he snuck a look at Sen before averting his eyes elsewhere. Didn't want to get caught starting at her.

Yue's sister was taken aback. That little jerk! "I was gonna say it!" she snapped at him, and if only to defy his words, marched even closer to the newcomer than he was. Her chin stuck out, and she said in a strong voice, "Thank you."
The look Ohahira gave her in response was an odd one. "Uh, you're welcome." Though, the cub didn't seem to be thanking her so much as just going against her sibling. Had it even registered with her she could've died? "Look, you two, you really shouldn't fight among each other like this. One day, you might get seperated for good, without a choice, and then what would you do?"

Yue flicked his tail, sticking his tongue out at his sister. That would probably be a good thing, actually. Especially seeing as how she did nothing but pick on him for stupid things. Stupid girls. He slipped his tongue back into his mouth, giving a little snooty pout. "I wouldn't care," he said with a huff, most of him meaning it. Especially at this moment.
It never crossed his mind that there would be a time he wouldn't be with his sister, or the rest of his family. Days seemed so long, and being a kid seemed like it would never change! So he never bothered to think about what it might be like in the future, when they got bigger.

Sen leered, and leered darkly. If looks could kill... "I'd have one less stupid, crybaby brother," was her two cents on the subject. Neither answer settled well with the older lioness, but Ohahira just shook her head. Maybe they'd have to actually be seperated to learn, like no doubt her sisters were learning now.
"Alright, well... I better take you two home. Where is it you live?"

Yue ignored the lure that Sen put out for him. Well, what he assumed was a lure. He kept his distance away from his sister, and bounded up to the other side of the lioness, his golden eyes gleaming up at her. He didn't want pity, just was happy that he wasn't alone with his sister. She seemed to be in a really crabby mood at the moment.
"We live in the pridelands," he said briskfully, excited at the prospect to go home. "I think near that big rock, Pride Rock." His tail swished behind him, a bit of joy peeking through to caution as he was certain his sister would butt in and say something.

In that way, Sen would probably never let him down. "You think? Jeesh." If he got lost, not only did he not look like Mom or Dad, he wasn't even totally sure where he lived. It hadn't been that long since they'd left! Forgetful, stupid brother.
"Settle down," Ohahira cut in, wanting very badly to sigh, but not following through with it. The last cub she'd sighed at hadn't taken it well at all. "Let's head that way, then, the area should start to look familiar."
Pride Rock, she assumed, was the giant rock and the area around it must be the Pridelands. Growing up mostly in the jungle with just her family, then living with the Unity Walkers for only a few weeks, her knowledge about prides and pride conduct was very slim.
The area did look nice, though, she mused as she began their way back.

When they had left the dead and dusty area of the graveyard, Yue briskfully bounced around as the grasses soon started to poke through the ground again. He was happy to be going home, no matter what his sister might imply. And he was certain that no matter what, their mother would be grateful that they came back only a little dirty. And with a new companion, too!
He stopped quickly, though, to peer back at his sister, before looking up at Ohahira. "Thanks for taking us hoooome," he said happily before waiting for her to catch up. His tail flopped behind him happily before he picked his pace back up, but trying to keep in stride with her and his sister.

"It's no trouble," Ohahira said. Really, it wasn't. If anything, the lioness (not very keen on walking around solo), was desperate for company. Not enough to admit it to a couple cubs, but very, very close to it.
Still, she knew when it was time to leave. Once they reached the indicated place. With Priderock now right in front of them, she stared it and awe then turned. "Alright, take care, you two."
"You're leaving?" whined Sen.

Yue had to agree with his sister here. Did she really have to leave?
Hewhined right next to her, doing his best begging face, though since he was trying so hard it certainly didn't look very good. His body drooped a bit with the face, his tail flopping a bit behind him.
"Can't you just stay for a tiiiiny bit?"

"I have my own sister to find," Ohahira said apologetically. Sen watched her leave with a distressed look, then shook her head--at Yue--and headed back home.
