I was never Christian. We celebrate Christmas but not to necessarily honor Jesus. My Mum is a new ager. I ran into Wicca on Youtube or something.

I haven't told anyone I'm Wiccan. My family says they are Christian but we stopped going to church when I was really little, we never pray, we never do anything christian. We do however celebrate Christmas, but not because of Jesus or anything; if you ask me I think Christmas has been corrupted(sp?) from all the commercialism and crap.

If someone said, 'Three years from now, you'd be long gone..."
I have ALMOST the same thing as you, Reivyn-chan.
Only I never really had a religion from the time I was born.
My parents are catholic. But they are okay with me being wiccan. They just want me to research it extensively so I knwo what im getting into.
AND, my fiance... well he has his own god. I am not sure what it is.. But he has his own religion, and his own beliefs. And we support each other.
...I'd stand up and punch them out, cause they're all wrong.

My family isn't very religious so they don't really have a problem with me being Wiccan. My mum is into tarot and things like that so she likes the fact that I can teach her more about tarot.
My boyfriend likes it. He's used to it because his mum is pagan and is always burning incense. He isn't Wiccan or Pagan, he doesn't really like to get involved in religion much.

My story is similar to many others, except my parents didn't freak out, nor could they now, for I live with my fiance, and haven't lived under their roof for 2 years now.
I can't remember how I first heard of the word "Wicca", but I do remember reading up on it on Wikipedia.com
I think someone created an Extended Discussion thread on different religions...
I think that's why I looked it up on the internet.
But, not trusting everything I saw on the internet, I delved into books, reading, making notes, creating my BOS (which I have three of now, going on four) and going through many, many books, borrowing some from libraries, buying as often as I could, talking to a few people online, and one in person.
My parents don't care, my mom is somewhat interested, and my step-dad teases us now and then.
Not much else to my story, really; Wicca is a never-ending learning experience, this much is clear.
