He closed his mouth and swallowed. The cool water went down nicley, intermingled with the taste of blood. Memories were swarming to him. They were almost... fading, if a word could be made for this feeling of forgetfulness. He needed to try and stay awake, or these memories would fade as quickly as his conciousness. Between mouthfuls of water and deep breaths he mumbled out, "The cliff. I was... there." he tried to raise his hand to point, but before he could barley lift it, a searing pain sprang up and down his arm. "Grrr!"he moaned and wimpered, gritting his teeth with pain.

Pushing back some of the things in her way, she finally got to where her home was, avoiding Blackeye who was on the porch smoking. She'd already had her cigarette today, and not wanting to smoke too much in one day, she decided against asking him for another pack, as today's had been her last.
As she headed for her front porch, she noticed Runtly tagging along behind her. Grinning a bit, she turned, placing her hands on her hips as she eyed the young dog, "Hey cutes. Something up?" She didn't want to come off as intimidating to Runtly, or the others for that matter, because she wasn't. Her past was dark, as was her job, but it wasn't who SHE was, it was just a part of her.

Runtly stopped close to Bai, his tongue out while he panted. His tail was low, and wagging side-to-side slowly.
"Yes," The runt stated before a swallow. "We found a cat. Over.. There." He pointed with a white paw to where the commotion was.
"But I wanted to ask you something. Do you know a lot about Great Danes?"

Tilting her head and raising an eyebrow, she saw the question as somewhat... well, odd. Shrugging, she nodded at him, "Mhmm. I've seen some in my day, met a couple, aside from ya'll. What makes you ask, Runt?" She eyed him a bit, just really confused as to why he would ask something like that.
Looking over in the direction he pointed about a cat, she nodded, starting in that general direction, waiting for Runtly to tag along, "Well, let me go and see. I thought I heard a commotion before..." Normally, she never had an issue with cats or dogs alike, despite the natural instinct to be scared of both.

"Wait!" Runtly reached over and grabbed Bai's hand.
"I wanted to know. Do you know if they howl? Great Danes, I mean."
[[yar. Sorry for shortness.]]
