I was told that eating chocolates and other sweets at that time can cause yeat infections and dryness,is that true?
I don't think so, chocolate has a vitamin in it that women need during that time. -read some book or whatever on that-

Yeah...I turn insane. . .as in, angry then upset then kicking the floor then crying then running into walls and I'll feel really warm like I have a fever then 30 minutes later I'm cold . O.o

Man, I cramp up sooo bad the day before or 1st day, one time I didn't even want to move but luckly it's only one day. Um, I feel bad for people around me.

Ah you sound exactly like me on that day....I vomit like crazy the first day...I went to the store with my mother and got sick and we had to pull over so I could vomit...then I had to sit in the parking lot in front of this old guy,and he was happy and smiling and then I puked infront of him and he was like " eek gonk "

I only sometimes get paind, but most of the time I just feel very very sick! it's only for three days but it's really uncomfortable!
And for some reason, I always feel very happy and content the day before I start, after that I just want to hurt people or sleep!!

I get uberpain. D:

Ibuprofen is the most effective for menstrual pains because it blocks prostaglandins, which creates the pain. This is what my doctor told me. Midol doesn't block prostaglandins, oddly enough.

UGH mines are the worse!!!

I say Midol always does the trick or the extra relief tylenol.

I hear that if your period is very irregular you should go see a doctor and sometimes he gives you the pregnancy pill to help regulate it

I take Ibuprophen(sp?) for the two and a half to three days of my period because it thins the blood, relieves a loosens the tensed muscles, and that lets the blood flow more freely. I also make sure to drink plenty of tea, make sure it's hot when you drink it AND finish it! Even if it burns your tongue and throat, when it hits your throat and stomache, a little of the heat travels down to your uterus. I have a hot tub, but if you don't have one, take a hot bath, either right after you take the pills and/or while drinking the tea. The bath will help relieve the pain until the meds kick in, and if you stay in long enough, they may have kicked in before you get out. I hope this helps!

I'm lucky, my pains are mild and I'm on the pill (which sucks and i forgot to take it today.... oops ninja ) so I know exactly when I'm going to get it, so I can still wear lolita clothes when I'm on it. I just won't swim... ewww, tampons....

I have biiig pains.*nodnod* Incredibly painful ones, feels like I've been eating razors e___e
I solve this with....Pills! Lots and lots of pills. I take Naproxen, it's amaxing. And it doesn't just work for period pains, but also headaches and regular stomach aches. What bothers me most is the Pain... and not being able to go swimming.. ^^ It's kindof problematic to go to sleepovers as well, in case you forget pads or you bleed too much.
My mood doesn't change, 'cause I've got PMS mood 24/7, 365 days a year xD

I get cramps xP They are terrible! Well, they are usually really bad every other month, and the one in between isnt at terrible.
I hate getting it in the summer though. I like swimming to much.
I always want chocolate, on my period or not, just on it, the cravings increase a lot no problems with that -nod-

Right, so I'm a vegetarian and am anemic to begin with.

On top of that my periods always last like 6-8 days, and I cramp so bad the first (and sometimes second) days that I can't move >.>

And for whatever reason I've had my period really lightly for like 2 weeks like rightnow. Well I think it's stopped as of yesterday but it was weeeird.

I told my doctor that I always have long, heavy, painful periods but she saw nothing wrong with it. So now I just don't go to the doctor if I don't have to and am reverting to all homeopathic remedies.

My two favourite things: Wearing tight jeans (I don't know but it helps me :S) and hot water bottles. Oh and Tylenol Menstrual. It's stroooong.

I hate my period. Sometimes its horrible when it comes, verrry painful. Other times I could forget it is there. Anddd, I usually avoid wearing dresses and skirts during this time >_>; they last atleast a week but die down after the first three days or so.

I tend to shy away from dressing up lots. I try not to stay in the house though, so I usualy just do a little shopping in my city, and hang with friends. I save traveling to tokyo, and dressing up in nice dresses and outfits for the rest of my month.

My mom always buys me herbs for the pain from the market, and those help. My grandma freaks out if I go to harajuku when im on my cycle because she thinks im going "into" meiji temple, which is sometimes looked down upon when a girl is menstruating. Thats only usualy by certian temples and old syperstitions people like my grandma.... *rolls eyes* But, I don't usualy go to tokyo anyway so its usualy not a problem.
