I wonder what, if any, trends are present in the age that people start masturbating, and also maybe in terms of gender as well.

Some people actually start masturbating as babies or toddlers. And I actually wonder if I am one of them...
I have been masturbating for as long as I can remember, so I don't remember my first time. I just know that I was masturbating and orgasming at least by the time that I was five or six. I would rub on things like stuffed animals, and I would orgasm pretty fast.
I didn't fully understand it at the time. I knew that it was something sexual and something to be done in private. But I actually thought the orgasm was like my body groping to find a p***s and then getting out of the mood when it realized there wasn't one, as if arousal and sexual activity weren't allowed unless it went straight to heterosexual intercourse. But I liked it, so I kept doing it. I don't remember how old I was when I realized what that feeling actually was.

When I was about 13, I had a vibrating back massager. One day I thought it would be hilarious to use it to make my butt cheeks vibrate--and to my surprise, it made other areas feel good. I guess that massager was my first vibrator.

I started when I was seven but tried better ways when I was nine, then when I had computer access through middle school I had access to googling new techniques and porn. I'm now 16 with my own computer and made a New Year's resolution to do it at least once a week. >u0

I did not masturbate until after I had started High School, 15 or 16. I just didn't have an interest in it before then.
As for your poll, the last time I did it was... I don't even remember. Definitely over a month ago lol. I don't think I've masturbated more than a handful of times since my husband and I moved in together, almost 3 years ago.
