Sigal pranced about too, excited to be meeting other foxes. Ame was all she really needed, but...It would be nice to have other friends for once, too!
"C'mon, let's go now!" Sigal shouted, full of joy and energy.

"Lead the way!" Ame had never been to the Lazuli tribe lands and had no idea where they were. She hoped that Sigal knew or else they might have a problem.
The thought of being part of a tribe and making new friends was a joyful one. She could now wouldn't have to live on her own, she'd be with Sigal, and know others. What could be better?

Sigal didn't mention that she had never been to the Lazuli Tribe before, and only knew about where it was because she had seen Daddy go off to visit it sometimes. But it couldn't be that far off the path, right? Sigal decided to go in a straight line, so if they did get lost, she could always backtrack.
"When you join the tribe, have you thought about what position you want to be?" Sigal hadn't thought about tribe positions a little, but nothing really seemed to fit her. Maybe she wouldn't have one, and just be a regular member.

Ame paused for a moment to think and then began walking again. "Tribes have positions?" She felt sort of silly for asking such a questions but she had never been around any tribes before. Sigal had an understanding of them from living with her father and all. But Ame had never been exposed to the way tribes were run. She knew they had elders like Ari but that was about all she knew.

"Yeah. Um..." Sigal tried to think of what the positions were.
"Well, there are scouts," she said, remembering that Rendo always went around introducing himself as Rendo-the-scout. But there was a lot more than that, she knew it!
"Uh...shamans...gatherers....hunters...and carers? I think that's all?" She wasn't really sure, though.

"Well, in that case, I have no idea! I'd have to learn more about each one before I even thought about it." But she figured since she was actually joining a tribe, she might as well hold a position if she could.
"What about you? Do you know what position you want?"

"I don't think any of them would fit me...At least, definitely not a shaman, because you need to know a lot about plants, and how to use them to heal, and which ones you can and can't eat. And gatherers need to know some of that, too, so I guess not one of those...And definitely not a hunter. I'm not good at that." Even after the lesson she had gotten from Cygnus, hunting was a bit of a weak point with her.
"Well, maybe a scout or carer? Since those are the only two left," Sigal said with a bit of a laugh.
Actually, thinking about it now, maybe a carer would be nice. She would get to play with the young of the tribe, and that was always fun. Except she would have to teach them, too, and she wasn't really sure she could do that.

As she walked along, Ame listend to how Sigal described the tribe positions. None of the ones she had mentioned fit her either. Ame knew almost nothing about plants and couldn't hunt something to save her life. And as a scout, she figured she'd get lost. But Sigal had also mentioned a carer.
"Whats a carer?" She asked curiously. "Do they care for something?"

((Bouncy said we can just throw them in at Amores. We just need to keep in mind that the other members there are over at the lake, and not at the main camp. 3nodding So I'm going to go throw her in there now. She can spend quality time with her sister!))
"Carers care for the kits in a tribe. They watch the kits, and play with them, and stuff. But you need to teach the kits, too..." That was the part that worried her. Playing with kits was fine, but teaching them? She bet she would be horrible at it.
Would she want to be a carer, if she had to try teaching kits?
She supposed she could try, at least, and just be a regular member if she couldn't do that. There was no rule saying you had to have a position...
"I think I'll try being a carer. And if I can't do that well, then I can just be a regular member," Sigal decided.

Ame thought for a moment. Playing with kits would be fun! And she knew many things to teach them. But she wasn't sure if she could handle a whole lot of kits at one time.
"I don't know if I could handle a position. I might just be a regular member." Though each of the postistions sounded somewhat fun, with the exception of being a hunter, Ame doubted that she could do it to the level of satisfaction for the tribe.

"There's nothing wrong with being a regular member! I think regular members get to do a little bit of everything, and that could be fun." Sigal wasn't really sure, though. There weren't any regular members in Daddy's tribe, so she had no idea what they really did. She was just guessing, and hoping she was right.

"I'll just help you out with whatever you do." Ame said smiling brightly at Sigal. She didn't really care about having a job. Just having friends and Sigal was enough for her.
Then Ame realized something. As her tummy growled at her, it came to her attention that she hadn't eaten anything all morning. She had been so excited to see Sigal and set off to her new tribe that she had forgotten to eat.

Sigal heard Ame's stomach growl, and remembered that she was so eager to leave, she hadn't eaten yet, either.
"Come on, let's go find something to eat! Maybe there are strawberries around here or something!"

At first and Ame was embarrased by hearing her stomach growl but she felt better after hearing Sigals growl as well. They always seemed to be on the same page.
"Strawberries would be great!" Ame scanned the forest around them for anything they could eat.

Sigal sniffed around, trying to smell out the strawberries, but no luck. There were other plants around, but she wasn't sure if they could be eaten...
She very definitely was not cut out to be a gatherer or a shaman, that was obvious.
"Let's try this way!" Sigal said, taking a path at random. Just as long as they stayed on the path, they wouldn't have to worry about finding their way back if strawberries weren't there.
