The dragon being so near me was unnerving to say the least....But when it started licking me, i felt like the Human King's jester...It was embarrassing.
I shook it off of me, and, covered in dragon slobber, approached Lecta

"Lecta, we can't make a scene. He has to find us on his own, and we've interfered enough. Besides, you yelling at anyone won't attract his attention." i said sharply. I wasn't mad at Lecta, not at all. But Serobi... Well, even the stars were teeming with fear and rage that he'd almost destroyed the plan. The future might easily change because of this mishap, and that probably wouldn't be a good thing...Who knows when we might get to see Draku again?

I hoped that the lad, whom we thought was draku, hadn't taken note of anything that conspired. Perhaps he'd just shrug it off, as if this happened often. I hoped Elves were uncommon in this area, and in the same way i was rather piffed that they were so foreign. Most of these people had never seen elves before, and our behavior was barbaric. This may leave a bad impression of elves as they know them. But it was partially a good thing, for if these people have never knew about us, then this may seem socially acceptable to them. Maybe they'd learn something of other cultures today...false or not.....

"Forgive me..."she said quietly, walking over to Asay, she climbed onto the dragons back and layed her frail figure along her body. Releasing a sigh, she stared up at the sky, Asay stared back at her and squeeked questioningly"Its ok Asay, dont worry..."she whispered, reaching a hand up, Asay lowered her head and rubbed the side of her face against Lecta's small hand"Your so beautiful..."Lecta whispered and closed her eyes.

Men stopped to stare at Lecta's frail armor, pointing, smilling. Some even had strange looks on there faces"Humans are awefully Odd..."she whispered, staring at them with confused eyes"Not even Draku cared if I wore clothes or not.".

Why were the humans so fazed by Lecta? indeed she was beautiful, and the some of humans probably thought she was a toy for their pleasure. Others probably wondered why she dressed to lightly? Why couldn't the humans be more like the Elves, regarding visible skin? In fact, why couldn't humans be more like Elves in general? I had to admit, this was almost as embarrassing as the dragon licking me. I did not regret being with Lecta, but i did regret letting these humans get on my nerves. and soon, they would too, if they kept this up....

Few of them had stepped closer, cautions by the Dragon who watched them with carefull eyes"Well arrent you discusting..."she teased, sitting herself up on her elbows, her blue eyes scanned the enviroment"Perhaps, I should find some better...clothing. But, its so warm...What I am wearing is perfect for the desert and summer. Perhaps I should not..."she giggled and smiled wide.

Iavas walked from an Alley. "I don't see anyone who looks even remotely like Draku did." He said. "The Humans are also looking at me strangely." He saw the men regarding Lecta and threw them a nasty glare. As Lecta's new bodyguard, he was rather protective. He walked towards Asay, and saw Serobi standing there. He barely even regarded him though, he stood by Asay and Lecta, ready for any attacks.

She was so carefree. It was amazing how little she seemed to care sometimes. It was one of the most admirable qualities she possessed. I on the other hand, must've looked pretty nervous. Well why shouldn't i have? some of them got a little too close...One of the children even came up to me...

"Thir" he said, with an obvious lisp

"Yes?" i replied unsurely...He was small, and if i wanted to i could throw him across the marketplace, but i let him continue...

"Why are you tho tall thir?" he asked innocently How would i respond to that?

"Because i'm an Elf, and elves are generally tall" I said, stonelike and passive. I didn't really care for his odd questions, but he was so innocently curious...How could i not oblige?

"Wow!" he said with ardour, "I wit'h i wath that tall..." he said, and gloomily look at his fidgeting toes...

Pity welled inside me. I couldn't help it. Children with unfulfilled dreams killed me on the inside. Usually their lft hopeless, always afraid to venture out beyond their comfort zones, too shy to make their dreams a reality. Of course in this case, he couldn't help it...but maybe i could....Lecta giggled behind me. I knew she waited for a response...

"How'd you like to be this tall for a minute or too...em...whats your name?" i offered. This might very well make the Elves much more respectable then they must've seemed now...

"Wow! i could be that tall now?" he asked wonderously, ignoring my request for a name....

"Er, yes. Yes, let me show you" i told him. I could've sworn, there were stars in his eyes. I would know. I picked him up, and held him high above the crowd, letting him take it all in. At first he seemed frightened, that i could tell by the flash of fear in his expression, but then he enjoyed it, as though it were as exciting as a raft down a waterfall. I hoped nobody thought i was kidnapping him....

I lowered him slightly, so he was now eye-level. I could tell he wanted something else, but was too shy to ask..."Yes, you can feel my ears" i said, trying not to sound to reluctant. Then i felt a soft touch on my left ear. His hand slowly moved down the long cardilage, feeling every crease and crevase. After he'd done so, i looked at his face, and it beamed like a man who'd just been knighted in the kings own courts.

I set him down again, and gave him one more thing before letting him leave. I started singing, and stars danced on my palm in front of him. He stared in amazement, dazzled by the dancing spheres of light. He reached out to touch it, and seeing that i didn't stop him, he stroked one of the stars lovingly. Other humans started to crowd around, appalled by the stars too. The magic gifts of humans must be rare these days if all were so amazed by it. I gavwe the child a small glow, which he held in his hand like an insect. Then i let him go. He ran away, laughing gleefully. Then i turned my attention back to the so-called-"draku"....

Iavas chuckled at Eleyym's reactin to the boy. He and Eleyym had grown as close as brothers. He was still a slightly taller than him. That still didn't do anything to their relationship. "Seems Eleyym is quiet the entertainer" He whispered to Lecta, chuckling.

Favian stared at the female elf for a long moment. "heh?" he mumbles to himself, and his eyes widened with surprise. Even the Draku within him was rather shocked. Is this my Lecta? his soul would probably ask himself. What has eighteen years done?

"Don't disobey me again!" she yelled. It was as if she owned him. She was so dictative for that moment that it almost frightened him. Was it that she didnt like elves talking to humans? Favian didnt know what got into her yelling like that but it really did lower his opinion of elves. It was...disappointing. Not to mention her dragon which also suited her atitude.

"I'm truly sorry, Lecta." he lowers his head and bows with great regret to his actions. "If I am too much trouble, please, ask me to leave anytime you wish. I am truly sorry."

Serobi walks back behind her dragon, head down and practically kicking himself with regards to what he had done. He was too eager.

For a brief moment, i saw a glimpse of familiariy in ''draku's'' eyes. As if he recognized something. but it quickly flickered away, as a grimace replaced his gaze. Had lecta's reaction to serobi done more destruction than serobi himself? I'd have to keep a closer eye on both of them then...

"Lecta, look at the lad." i hoped her eye's would spark a memory perhaps....Maybe it wouldn't, but the stars found nothing wrong with the gesture. I hoped they would give more specific instructions now. It was a little frustrating having to be too careful not to do something wrong....

"Huh,?" he mumbles to himself once again and suddenly spaced out for a moment. That song, that dream. What's going on with me?

That girl too..

"Le-" he cut himself short. This was very awkward and frightening for him. Memories flashed and some moments returned. Once the elf had glanced at him, he turned and ran towards the dojo. Whatever it may be, he wasnt ready for it now. Soon enough, he will seek for answers.

"I'm very Sorry serobi..I dont know what came over me..."she whispered and let out a sigh"I shouldnt have done that, I guess the lack of care for myself destroyed be inside aswell..."she admited and sat up on the dragons back. Staring towards Eleyym"Why?"she asked and stared at the young boy, his eyes stared with realisation. He was starting to remember, already. She seemed a little healthier, her lavender skin whent from pale to a bit darker"I think it is time that I do realy start treating myself as a queen and not a peasant...18 years in that desert and lack of food...I probebly look horrable.."hearing him neerly say her name made her heart race with increadible speed"Eleyym..."she whispered and stared towards the elf"We found him...".

"Yes. But once again, we cannot approach him. He must come to us, yes, but we also have to make him want to come to us. If there's no desire, all is lost..." i said, truthfully. I watched as the lad ran away, obviously in a rush to continue whatever he was doing earlier. The glimpses of memory in his expression increased, and everytime one bubbled up in him, he stowed it away. I had to wonder why he hid those memories. Perhaps he's not the same draku we knew from so long ago...?i thought. Well, it ws too late to do anything now. He was too far gone. For now we'd have to wait until he came back. I assumed he'd come back the same way he went, but one could never be sure. Maybe he was looking at the various stalls that'd been placed on all corners, and walls of the small square. Or maybe not. But we'd find him later. At least he knows we're here....

"Eleyym, shall we go now as we wait? I need to find a store that sells soaps, clothes, brushe's and towels...All my things have bin destroyed in the journey here..."she sighed and stared towards the Elf. Slidding down off the dragon, she walked over to Serobi and hugged him tight"I'm awefully sorry dear friend..."she whispered and stood on the tips of her toes and layed a small reasuring kiss on his cheek"Lets be off, I must find a hotspring. I need it I feel like I am the sand itself...".

Iavas remained standing by Asay. "No desire, of course there's desire. Don't you see desire in those eyes?" He said to Eleyym. He decided to sharpen his Daggers. He drew a rock out of the ground, draining a small amount of his energy, then pulled out his daggers. Sharpening them slowely, he looked intimitading to most humans, with his height and build, he didn't care much anymore. His collection of weapons was intimidating enough. A pack full of Needles on his back, daggers at his waist, shrukins also at his back. "As for you, my lady." Iavas said, addressing Lecta, "There are plenty of shops for your needs, i saw them on my search."
