Rae decided it would be up to her to start the conversation. Perhaps she could get Rina to open up more. She walked over to the other after excusing herself from Anjafey and Loki. "Good afternoon, Rina."

"Good afternoon, Rae. How are you this day?"
Rae had left those whom she had been with to talk to Rina. And one of those two was an elder, of which tribe, Rina was not sure. She could not quite make out his tattoos from where she stood. But Rina could tell that the other bore the dragon and crescent moon tattoo of brother and Kazuki's Lunarie tribe. Rina wondered how the two female modifoxes of two different tribes had become acquainted.

((Truth is, I'm not sure Anja and Rae have met before. They knew each other through ownership.))
Rae smiled. "I'm well. It's nice to see so many foxes out today. How have you been faring?" Rae was genuinely curious about Rina, who seemed so closed off and private. She hoped Rina was happy this way, although she couldn't truly imagine life without her tribe.

"I have also been fairing well." Rina thought for a moment of what else she ought to say to add to the conversation, to keep it from dying.
"How is your tribe?" Rina asked after a moment. While the Kousetsu Tribe was not Rina's place, Rae seemed to truly be in love with her tribe. And perhaps Rae would mention something, so that Rina could know if that green elder bore the Kousetsu Tribe tattoo, or if that was some other design upon his leg. From this distance, she could not quite be certain.

Rae smiled softly. "Everything seems to be going well. Especially since Loki," she gestured to him," one of our two Elders, is out here, and not on the tribe lands. He won't leave them if he's not sure everything is fine."

So, that confirmed that the green elder, Loki, did bear the Kousetsu Tribe's mark. Of course all must be well with the Kousetsu Tribe if the elder was not there: only a foolish leader would leave in times of strife. With the exception of seeking help, at least.
Which then reminded Rina of her original question.
"Are you acquainted with...Anjafey, I believe her name is?" It was best to make sure that the two truly did know one another before Rina asked how Rae had become acquainted with Anjafey.

Anjafey's ears flicked as she heard her name,but she continued her quiet conversation with Loki, not wanting to intrude.
Rae shrugged. "Anjafey? I guess so, although I haven't talked to her much. Why?"

Rina had thought that brother and Toki's friendship was an exception, and not something all that common. But perhaps she had been wrong. Truly, it did not matter to her all that much, for it did not affect her. Yet she was still curious, since it might affect her in the future, should she some day find a tribe that she could belong to.

Rae shook her head. "I know lots of foxes who have friends that aren't in the same tribe. I guess some keep to their own tribes, but not all of us."

"I see," Rina said. She tried to think of what else she could speak with Rae about, but it seemed that she had already exhausted all topics of conversation. She had asked about how the Kousetsu Tribe fared, about how Rae fared, and how Rae and Anjafey had become acquainted. Truly, what else was there to speak about?

"Since we have parted ways, I have spent most of my time in the lands of the Lunarie Tribe. I was curious to see how brother and his tribe were doing."
It was rare for Rina to spend so much time in one spot like she had while visiting brother, yet she had. She truly did care about brother, and how his and Kazuki's tribe was doing, for that was something that was very important to him. She had spent a little time with brother, but most of her stay had simply been exploring the lands of the tribe. They were pleasant, and Rina had found herself half wishing that she did hear the call of this Moon Fox, so that she could stay with brother. Yet she knew that she could not bear to be confined in such a small space as that. Perhaps if the lands of the tribe were bigger, she might be more inclined to stay. But they were not, and so it was no use wishing for something such as that.

Rae nodded and thought for a moment. "Yes, I've heard some about the Lunarie tribe, although I haven't spoken to Anjafey much about it. What is it like there?"

Adjusting her sleep schedule so she could meet strangers was not something Rina felt inclined to do. Brother had told her enough, and she would take his word that everything was as he said. He had told her some about the other members, and that was fine for her. She was not acquainted with them, so she did not particularly care how they were doing, as long as they were doing well overall.

Rae looked thoughtful for a moment. "Nocturnal?Well, I suppose tat makes sense, seeing as they worship the moon." She shook her head sheepishly. "Who am I to question that? My tribe doesn't even have a set sleep schedule." She grinned, remembering the night Kousetsu had spent running around their borders.
