I can't get to the third page of this thread, so excuse me if this has already been mentioned, maybe there is no third page and its just saying there is one. Anyways, the bible says that people without the mark will not be able to buy or sell, so I believe the mark will probably be a chip that is used to electronically keep track of money, know what I mean? As for when the end times will occur, I believe like many people have said that it will be in my lifetime. Its obvious things in the world can't go on as they are.

I've herd about these new chips on XBOW live and herd that in some places you cant buy anything without it so i say it may very well be the mark of the beast.

Could be. But i dont think its too important... Doesnt the bible say we'll know when the time comes. im pretty sure you cant wear it against you will because it says all who wear it are condemned. I dont think god would condmemn someone who was still a follower of christ. dunno...

there's no way because people have to knowingly take it as the mark of an actual person, namingly the antichrist. It's not something that they take as a tracker or anything. And remember that the antichrist will rise to power after the rapture, so that's another reason why it doesn't work.

Dark_Wolf Hey everybody. You guys may be thinking where the heck did i pull this question out of but it's somthing that me and my brothers have really been thinking about. Hopefully you guys know what chips i'm talking about. but if not, they're basically rice-sized little microchips that can be implanted into the human body. Right now they are used mostly on animals, not humans. However, in some places like Mexico, that is not the case. There, patients already have these chips planted inside them. Doctors use them because they have all the patient's medical information including blood type, etc. They can retrieve this info by simply scanning the chip. Also, some government officials already have them implanted in their arms. They alow them access to secured areas. They are hoping that they can get the rest of the officials, police, etc. implanted with chips as well. Right now these developers are working so that a persons physical location can be tracked by these chips. At first it sounds really cool. But then again, think about it. Something put in the human body to keep track of them? Not to mention what other breakthroughs they may develop with the chips. Perhaps the mark of the Beast isn't necessarily going to be a tattoo on everybody's forehead and hand.
Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
The hand is use sometime to stand for works and forehead is used to for what someone knows or even serve. The right hand is the had of power as well. The mark may not be visible as most people think but might be something else. It could be the fact that they serve the anti-christ and the do his work. I bet the mark will be something that no one is thinking of.

I just wanted to point this out... because it would seem the beast has an image that is in some people's foreheads... while the righteous have the name of the Father in theirs... just an interesting thing to look at.

Satan is a little bit more tricker then using a tatoo or bar code. He would want the mark to be the least noticible but only a true Child of Jesus who is strong in the word will be able to notice it. Rember there has to be a great falling away from the Cruch before Jesus returns. Satan is going to trick a lot of people in those days.

I bet the mark will be something that no one is thinking of. That reminds of something in that has to do with binding the word of God on your hand a forehead. It was written in the bible, probably to mean thoughts and actions like you mentioned, but Jewish folks ended up taking it literaly even though at first it was just a symbol of that belief. Much of the bible was written very poeticly and use many symbols, this the hand is a good symbol for actions and the forehead is a good symbol for thoughts. So your theory/belief on this might not be far off. I personaly think you might be right, then again like the Jews bind the law to their hand and forhead as symbols for their beliefs, those who follow the anti-christ can do the same with their own beliefs. So, these chips might not the real deal, at least not right now, not untill they become something more involved with the anti-christ.

I dont believe it is our position to know. I believe God will reveal that when the times comes for us to know. I dont think you need to worry about it till then.
