She wheeled around and came to a gentle landing as she slowly trotted towards Indu, her eyes dancing with amusement. She could tell he was just really nervous and probably didn't want to embarrass himself, but since he was learning, it was fine... and really, flying had its finer moments after all the fall-ups. "Well, being pushed into a pond isn't too bad," she mused to herself, and then grinned wide. "At least, when you know it's going to happen! When you're suddenly pushed in it's not fun at all, because it's surprising and what if you didn't want to get wet, you know?" she added, understanding in her expression.
"W-Watch me?" she stuttered, eyes widening ever so slightly as the blush she seemed to have acquired appeared again and seemed to have a permanent stain on her cheeks. She found that she really enjoyed all of Indu's odd little smiles and grins; they were all so different and cute, but she kept these thoughts to herself, and nipped at him playfully. "I bet you you'll be even better than me when we're done!" she exclaimed excitedly as she pranced back and forth in front of him. Her soft hazel eyes were sparkling with her joy and her mouth was quirked up in a happy, excited smile and directed her smile at her new friend... who, maybe, would become more... but she doubted that, since it seemed Indu didn't have much experience with relationships... not that she did either, but she liked to think she knew a bit more than Indu did... for now.
She stifled a giggle, and nodded. "Falling isn't fun, nope! But the rush of adrenaline really kicks you into high gear!" she explained, and continued her prancing back and forth. She was really eager. "I'd tell it to him if he were here! But he's not, and if I meet him later I'll tell him!" Mocha moved so that she was nudging Indu forward slightly. "C'mon, Indu! Stretch out your wings! Run, run, run, and move your wings up and down! It's such a great feeling to feel the wind carry you above the clouds!" She smiled at him, and replied to his comment he had called to her when she had lifted off into the air earlier. "I expect you to do it... and better than me!" she proclaimed, flicking her tail and tossing her head so that her hair moved away from her eyes. She flexed her own wings, preparing, this time, to take off with Indu at her side, so she could keep an eye on him in case he did fall, but she doubted this would happen. "C'mon, Indu!" she encouraged, eyes glowing with her happiness.

He watched her land gracefully, one ear tilting back slightly. Much better than his stumbled landings, by far. But he just needed more practice to smooth over his rough landings. Embarressing himself wasn't exactly the problem, at least not infront of Mocha, since she seemed to be more understanding of the whole practicing process. It was more the worry that he might fall and manage to hurt himself somehow, which wasn't all that unheard of. He'd been rather clumsy as a foal. "I never was able to predict it when I was younger. Our two-legger always seemed to sneak up on me when I didn't expect it." He said, ears flattening briefly as an annoyed look crossed his face, pawing at the ground lightly before shrugging it off. He was a bit wiser to the antics of their odd teepee mate, and much harder to push about anywhere.
Watching her stutter slightly, the bright colored stallion couldn't help but grin just a bit wider. It was cute and rather endearing. Snorting slightly, he blinked in surprise as he was nipped, ears flicking back then forward. "Uhhh...Maybe. I just need to practice." He finally said after a brief moment of stunned surprise. Shaking his head, he watched the mare prance about infront of him, tail flicking back and forth, making patterns in the sand. Rolling his eyes at her antics, Indu once again couldn't keep from grinning, Mocha's happy mood infectious.
Tossing his head slightly, he snorted as he was nudged, sidestepping and flicking his tail against Mocha's side lightly in return. "You'll meet him eventually if you come around often enough." He assured her before tossing a grin her way. "Alright. Just don't laugh if I mess up." He told her, ears tilting back before his muscles tensed and he shot off, flicking his wings out as he ran. Gaining a bit of speed, he stretched his wings and shoved off from the ground, flapping a bit and gaining air. It wasn't quite as hard as he had thought it looked. At least, the getting off the ground part wasn't. Once off the ground, he flapped, managing to stifle a surprised noise as an updraft suddenly lifted him up slightly, shifting to keep his balance. Turning his head, he looked to the side and back, looking intently for Mocha, hoping she was there with him, eyes dancing with elation that he'd managed to take off without a hitch of any sort.

She shook her head. "Two-leggers, they're all just very strange. Yours sounds stranger than mine, though! Sometimes I think my two-leggers are a bit too obsessive. I have two of the humans looking after me, and I just managed to escape them a few days ago. But they know I'll be back, so it's okay." She understood how Indu felt completely, only it was more her brothers who would do that to her and not the other way around. It wasn't fun, but now they were all grown up she kind of missed those innocent foalhood days. She shifted her attention back to the gold alicorn.
"Practice is good!" She loved his grin; it always somehow made her want to just laugh and grin right back at him. She continued her prancing, deciding it was fun and that it was funny to watch Indu give an odd look of amusement and annoyance all at once, though his grin only got wider. "I'll come back often, I promise," she nodded. "I definitely need to tell you dad a thing or two, after all!" she laughed, and then held her breath when he told her he was going to get ready to take to the skies.
...Watching Indu take off had been enough to make Mocha just want to watch him forever. It was the most amazing thing she'd ever seen, but keeping in mind her promise, she quickly launched after him, so that she was now at his side as they flew together. "It feels different, right?" she asked, catching an updraft to lift herself higher. "But if feels nice, too," she finished, smiling at her friend encouragingly. It felt so nice for her, to get to fly with an alicorn, and well, now that she was comfortable with Indu, it felt even better. "You looked awesome taking off," she commented on the side, her smile a soft smile now.

Narrowing his eyes against the wind, Indu spread his wings wider, catching an updraft and soaring upwards with a whoop of joy. Glancing sideways as Mocha came up next to him, he grinned in elation and tossed his head, the braids in his hair flicking about in the wind. "Very different. It's....amazing." He finally said, still grinning widely at her, eyes dancing still. He blinked a moment later at her last comment, blushing slightly. "Thanks. I think that's the first time I managed to get off the ground without tripping or something." He told her with a laugh, pawing the air, which was a different experience all in itself.
Beating his wings, he swung around in an arc over the water, smiling. "Good. I'll hold you to your promise. Maybe my dad will listen to someone else....Maybe." Indu laughed again before folding his wings slightly and starting back towards the ground. "I'll have to come visit you at your home. Meet your family and friends?" He asked, giving her an uncertain look. As much as he wanted to learn all about this enchanting mare, Mocha may not want him to visit so soon, seeing as how they'd just met after all.
Reaching the ground, the stallion gave a soft grunt and stumbled slightly as he landed, shaking his wings out. "I need to work on my landings." He chuckled, shaking his head before folding his wings back against his body.

She circled with him, happy that Indu felt happy, and just enjoying the feel of flying with the wind altogether. "All you have to do is fly a lot," she laughed cheerfully, smiling at his joy. She moved her legs in time with the gentle flap her of her wings, looking as if she was trotting across the skyline as she somewhat floated along with the golden stallion. "Is it really?" she said, quite surprised. "If I didn't know any better I'd have thought you were an expert!" Mocha teased gently.
Indu's laugh made her heart beat much faster suddenly, and it threw Mocha for a minute as she tried to calm the sudden acceleration. How... odd, she wondered, and then shrugged it off as something that meant she was just happy for Indu. "Sure," she agreed readily. "But my family and friends aren't your normal average family and friends, so be prepared!" she warned, a giggle escaping her. "And my promise... I can only hope your father will listen to a nice little mare like me, right?" she laughed, reassuring Indu that she was quite comfortable with him meeting her family and friends.
She had to fight a smile at the way he landed, however, as she too landed next to him gently, and bit more gracefully. "Landing is easy," she supplied as she pulled her wings back to her body. "All you need to do is work your legs so that when you land you can just take a few steps forward... kind of like when you're running, you slow to a walk until you stop! It's the same way with flying." Mocha's body was shaking with amusement, though she tried to suppress it because she didn't want to hurt his feelings.

He nodded and stretched his wings again. "I will have to practice alot more. I'm too heavy to keep up in the air for very long it seems." He said chuckling before looking at her in amusement. "And I am far from being an expert on flying. If anyone is, it's you." He told her, giving her a half smile, head tilted slightly as he studied her a moment before glancing away back over the water.
"I'll be plenty prepared, don't worry. Your family can't be any weirder than my own." He told her with a grin, shaking his head at that before shrugging. "Of course he'll listen. As long as it isn't me trying to tell him at least." Indu sighed, looking half amused and half exasperated at the whole thing. Really, you'd think a father would listen to his son now and then, right? Especially when he's all grown up.
Listening to her advice, he nodded and glanced at his feet briefly. "Walk as I land. Right." He said with a nod before glancing at her. He blinked and frowned before making a face at her when he realized she was trying not to laugh at him. "I know you're laughing at me, no matter how hard you try to hide it." He pointed out, tossing his head. "Meanie." He teased, stepping sideways to bump into her side lightly, nipping at a stray lock of her mane. He wasn't hurt, just amused. Which was common at the moment around Mocha.

She grinned at his words. "Heavy?" she inqueried, as if it was just a passing thought and not an intriguing subject to tread upon. "No, Indu, I don't think your weight has much to do with flying," she tried to say without laughing, though her eyes gleamed brightly with her overall amusement. Mocha didn't realize it, but she was slowly forgetting her earlier woes the longer she stayed with this stallion, and for such a shy mare, a kind mare, and a mare who most certainly was tougher than she acted, Mocha didn't seem to realize also why she was so quite delighted with Indu. She, however, did laugh at his next words. "Me, an expert flier? Come now, Indu." She shook her head, to dismiss the--she supposed--compliment and focused her attention on his needs instead.
She tilted her head in a cute little way as she considered his words, then gave him a cheeky grin. "No, I doubt your family is any weirder than mine, but my family is merely... weird. There is no other way to describe it. Such as they are in normal terms, but then, such as they are that they are not normal. They are..." she paused as if to consider how to describe them, and then dismissed her thoughts yet again. "They are not what we should be talking about right now! We're practicing, remember!?" She smiled brightly and bent to inspect his wings, as if she could infuse them with the power to help Indu fly just by looking at them. "Okay, so it doesn't make much sense."
She let out a gentle giggle as he repeated her advice, and now she knew why it sounded so... misgiving? Misunderstood. Yes. Misunderstood. When Indu pointed out how he knew she was laughing at him, she let out a full-blown, joyful laugh. "Ah, but I'm not laughing at you, Indu, I'm laughing with you!" She gave him a mock sad look. "Why would I want to laugh at someone who I've just befriended? I have a feeling we'll be seeing each other a lot after all!" she inserted at the last second, and then felt chastised with her words. She was risking and hoping too much in the fact that they'd be seeing each other a lot... her heart was rising slowly out of her chest and into her throat as she realized her mistake... but then, being who she was, she didn't realize she was falling. Falling, ever so slowly, in love.

"Alright then...Maybe not heavy but more that...my wings aren't strong enough to keep me off the ground." He concluded, fluttering his wings and rolling his eyes are her amusement. "And weight does have something to do with it. After all, your wings have to get your body off the ground and keep it up in the air." He pointed out, ears flicking forward with a smile. Of course she wouldn't think weight had alot to do with flying, even though she was probly teasing him about that. She had a much more slender figure than Indu had, so it must have been easier for her wings to lift her off the ground. But he wasn't about to point this out, it wouldn't have been very polite. "You've probably been flying since you were old enough to walk, so that makes you an expert." He told her with a firm nod of his head, not to be swayed from his decision. He had rather strange logic at times, but he was still fairly young. At least, compaired to his father and other soquili.
He gave her a half smile in return for her grin, shrugging his shoulders slightly. "I don't think anyone thinks their own family normal. At least, I haven't found one that has." He chuckled before giving a nod of agreement. "Right. Practicing." He repeated, raising a brow slightly as she stared so intently at his wings. Stretching them out for her, Indu turned his own head and looked like he was studying them aswell, when he was really studying the cream colored soquili beside him. The stallion felt blessed to have met such a unique mare, one that seemed perfectly alright and understanding with his periodic clumsiness and odd looking form. At least, he thought himself odd looking. Another mark of how new he was to the world, since there were many more odd looking Soquili out there, he'd just never seen them yet.
"Oh sure. With me...But... I'm not laughing." Indu said, faking bewilderment before snorting softly and lowering his head slightly so he could meet her eyes better, his own garnet ones glittering with odd mix of amusement and seriousness. "You're right. You don't seem the sort to laugh at anyone, much less a new friend. You're too kind for that." He said, smiling gently at her. "I hope we see much more of each other. I'm starting to become rather fond of your company." He told her, his own head tilting in a vague mimic of the way she had before, that soft smile still on his face.
He didn't know what love was, he'd never had the fortune to experience it. But maybe that was for the best, since he was able to experience it now, unsullied from previous encounters. The stallion just thought that the curious mix of feeling he felt was just because he'd made a new friend. That the odd tightening in his chest was because of his elation for a first sucessful flight, not because of the way Mocha smiled at him.

"They'll be strong yet!" she exclaimed, smiling happily as she practically beamed at him. "You're an alicorn! And we're gonna work until you have them so strong you'll feel lighter than a feather!" She let loose a giggle, unable to contain how much fun she was having. Indu was entertaining and so far he proved to be an interesting friend. She stuck her tongue out at him playfully. "Eeew, I don't think I'm heavy, so maybe it's not your weight but your horn! Are you sure it doesn't make your head feel heavy? 'Cause if it is, you better learn to practice lots and lots with it! It's attached to you after all!"
She made a face as she stared at him. "I didn't start learning until my feathers grew out. When I was young I couldn't barely even float!" She proceeded to prance about, her way of pondering how to help her new winged friend (and maybe more, should she acknowledge that fluttery feeling in her chest) gain confidence in his ability to fly, especially at long distances. She nearly got buffed over when he suddenly spread out his wings, before remembering she had been inspecting them. She made a face and stuck her tongue out at Indu, thinking he was trying to play a joke on her. "Yes. Practicing," she agreed, her eyes alight with mirth.
"Yes, with you!" she tried to persuade, and then gulped at the lump that formed in throat when he suddenly moved to make eye contact with her. He had gorgeous eyes... she blinked, shaking her imagination away. She blushed tomato cherry red at his compliment, and then blushed harder (if possible!) when he told her he wouldn't mind seeing her more often. She mumbled, "Y-Yeah, I'd like that too..." She determined that no one would miss her for a week or so as she contemplated something. Then, grinning, she said, "Well, you'll be seeing me every day from now on because I'm not teacher now! I'm gonna make sure you practice flying every single day I'm here!" she proclaimed with a proud face, a smiling tugging at her lips.

He couldn't help but chuckle at Mocha's enthusiasm. She was so positive about strengthening his abilities of flight, he just hoped he could live up to her expectations. It was something he could certainly do his best at trying. "Of course you're not heavy. You've got that slender female figure." He chuckled, ears perking forward before he snorted and went cross eyed in an attempt to look at the horn centered on his forehead. "My horn? I hardly know it's there most of the time, unless I get it stuck in something, so I doubt that." He laughed, tossing his head and making a face at her in return.
"But I wasn't laughing!" He said, trying to keep as straight a face as he could, unable to keep one corner of his lips from quirking at suppressed amusement. Refolding his wings, he sidestepped up next to her to n** lightly at a stray lock of Mocha's mane, ears perked and a grin teasing his lips. "With such a talented teacher, I'll be a spectacular flier in no time." He murmured, his grin turning into a true smile as he stepped away to put distance between them, tail swishing and brushing over the sand to make delicate patterns.
The gold stallion tilted his head a bit, studying Mocha. "If we're going to be spending so much time together practicing at my flying, you'll be meeting my father rather soon. He can't seem to leave me by myself for more than a day or so." He chuckled, shaking his head and turning it to look over his shoulder at the forest behind him, an indulgent expression on his face as one ear tilted back slightly.
{{Not sure indulgent is the word I'm looking for...But it works for now. XD}}

She found out what she liked most about Indu: his smile and his laugh. They were beautiful in her eyes, and she wouldn't give them up for the world. She secretly put this thought away for later contemplation, because for the time being, she was focusing on helping her new friend-maybe-more-than-friend. "Oh, please," she said, fluttering her eyelashes and proceeding to prance about in a "lady-like" fashion. Unable to hold the acting for any longer, however, she ended up laughing and shaking her head.
"Really? Then it's in your head that you're heavy, then," she concluded, as if that made all the sense in the world. Which, it probably did, but no one would really want to think too hard on it. At least, she hoped so. "Were so!" she pouted at him, seeing that he indeed was amused, but was doing this so she would feel bad, but she didn't. Thus, she stuck her tongue out at him--again. "Meanie," she pouted again, and then smiled--blushed--when he nipped at her mane. His next words pretty much inflamed Mocha's face for good, seeing as she just couldn't stop blushing.
She was touched, though. It wasn't often she met stallions this cute and fun. "That's okay!" she said, grinning with a glint in her eyes. "I did say I wanted to talk to him, after all!" She smiled, wondering what Indu's father would be like. She was hoping she wouldn't skitter or stutter, though, because she was just like that with most strangers--like with Indu earlier today--but she would get used to him to open up eventually.

He chuckled as he watched her prance about, ears perked forward, grinning. "Well, it is true. You have a stunning figure." He told her almost slyly, tilting his head to give her a look out of the corner of his eyes. It took him a moment to realize just what he'd said, and when he did, he flushed slightly in embarrassment. But he didn't try to take back his words. They were true in his mind. Mocha was a stunning mare.
Tossing his head suddenly, Indu pushed his embarrassment away and faced her once more, giving her an amused look. "Maybe it is in my head. But the fact remains, to me at least, that I am too heavy to keep in the air for long without practice." He finally said, fluttering his wings and giving them a look before shrugging and looking away again. Practice was all there was to it and he found no more reason to argue in the matter.
"Meanie? Me? You wound me." He said, putting on a suitably wounded look, eyes dancing with an amusement he couldn't hide at their mock bickering. He took in the image of the cream mare pouting, the look on his face turning thoughtful for a long few moments. He was trying to figure out the fluttering feeling her smile caused, putting it away to think about later. Maybe he would have to ask his father about this, something the stallion was hoping not to do quite so soon, if at all.
Shaking the thoughtful look from his face, a smile crept back on it anyway as he glanced back towards the forest. "Well, as I said, you'll meet him sooner rather than later. Possibly sometime today if I stay out long enough." He chuckled, ears flicking back briefly before perking up once again, listening, thinking he'd heard something. It was nothing though and he soon forgot about it, instead turning his attention back to focus on Mocha once more. "What about your family? Will someone come looking for you if you're gone too long?" He asked, head tilting slightly in curiousity.

She blushed happily at his compliment, and then frowned. "Hey, hey, it's not good to compliment the teacher, you'll distract them! Or well, me!" she scolded lightly. "I'm supposed to be helping you get the hang of flying! Practice practice practice!" she continued cheerfully. She grinned seeing his own blush; Indu must have realized what he said just a few seconds afterwards, and she was pleased to see he didn't apologize. It made her feel both thrilled and light-headed all at once. It was quite the odd sensation.
She agreed readily with his next words, though she still frowned about his claiming to be too heavy. "Well, practicing is the only way to get to perfection anyway," she finally said, and then waltzed up next to him. "But I think it's okay to take a break right now. A little bit at a time, step by step, will definitely help you improve faster than trying to do it all at once and exhaust yourself!" She smiled brightly and giggled.
"Meanie! Meanie Indu!" she teased, and then blinked. "I'll meet you father that fast? Wow, he must really be protective of you! If you haven't seen a lot of Soquili your dad doesn't let you out much. That's sad." Indeed, in Mocha's mind that was terribly sad, to not be able to explore on one's own and to make friends, or fine love. "No, my family won't come looking for me. There's no need to! If there's really anything they need my uncle will find me. He lives with me and this two-legger. My family's a bit family so if anyone needs me I'll know. It's this "thing" I have."
Her seriousness only added to the security she felt when it came to her family. It was true that if there was any trouble Hinote would come and find her, and probably pretty quickly as well. Hinote was a very quiet stallion, but he had an intuition that sometimes made it seem as if he could read minds. She loved her uncle to death; Hinote was so kind and gentle, if a bit "eccentric"... so to speak.

Indu gave a wide smile as she blushed at his comment. "Oh? But it was a perfectly innocent comment. I didn't mean to distract you." He said as he lowered his head and looked sideways at her, trying to look solumn and abashed at himself. But the glint in his eyes and the way one ear kept twitching gave it away he wasn't being truthful and wasn't abashed at all. "And I am practicing. Just...not right now." He told her a moment later as he brought his head up, ruffling his wings just a bit and nodding in agreement at her words. "Don't worry, I won't exhaust myself...I'm rather lazy afterall." Indu chuckled at that, rolling his eyes slightly in amusement at himself.
He gave a snort and nearly gaped at her, looking fakely astonished. "I'm not mean! Am not! Am not!" He retorted, very nearly bouncing about on his hooves around her, nipping teasingly at her mane at each pass, grinning. And as soon as his playful mood came, it faded as Mocha became serious, pausing in his steps around her. "You will. He's very protective. I'm his first son afterall." Indu shrugged and snorted. "He just....needs to get used to the idea that I'm grown up and can take care of myself...He won't like it, but it's just fact." Indu shrugged again before giving her a smile. "A big family? How many are in your family?" He asked, tilting his head curiously.

"Aw, you're not sorry at all are you?" she cried, catching onto his little act, before her twitching mouth broke out into a smile. "Silly Indu, trying to trick his teacher!" she laughed and danced away from him, giggling once more. Her gentle hazel eyes glistened knowingly before she suddenly ran back to his side to n** at his wings teasingly. "If you refuse to fly, that's okay! It only means I'm faster than you! Haha!" She smiled brightly at his explanation. "Lazy? Hm... Well, all right, all right." She pawed a the sand underneath her hooves a moment, slowly feeling the day wearing on her. It was nearly evening after all, and it was a day well spent. She really liked being with Indu; it was a completely new and different experience for her.
Until, of course, he starting dancing around her like no tomorrow nipping at her and she found herself laughing too hard to fight back. "Are too," she gasped, "are too!" Her mood returned to playful and sweet (she was never one to stay serious for very long anyway) and quickly stole a nuzzle on his cheek just to take her small revenge on him. "Don't ask me to count, it's too many! I have cousins and aunts and uncles and brothers! I don't have a sister though... at least, I don't think I do!" She laughed again (she always seemed to be laughing) and shook her head. "Hey, Indu, are you tired or hungry? Because if I'm keeping you from your bedtime or dinner I'm sorry..."
Her own stomach rumbled and she grinned mischievously. "Of course, it seems my stomach agrees about holding back on dinner... I don't think I've had lunch today... too much happened and distracted me." At her last words she looked at her maybe-more-than-a-friend-but-a-friend with a raised eyebrow, almost accusing him.
