Hmm... yeah the new look is a little wierd.... but I do like the music video, it looks nothing like Vertigo, don't know how that connection was made, but it does look a little like Rise Against's Ready to Fall.
Overall, I like the video, though Chester should go back to his original look.

PurpleBubble [pain]TING EVEN THE VIDEO PISSES ME OFF! scream I dig the new look, it suits them.....kinda.....BUT THERE'S LIKE NO JOE AT ALL! He's barely shown in the whole video! YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO JOE! eek evil scream I just saw the music video!!!! And I am so PISSED OFF! I hate their new look!!! I am actually crying right now. Im not ******** kidding. I am balling my eyes out. It's not Linkin Park. It is not the same band I fell in love with. This better be just a damn phase cause I am pretty F#$^ing pissed off right now.
I can't beleive Linkin Park has disappointed to the point of Tears. (and I hardly ever cry)Yeah. In all the times I figured they'd never change, here they are kicking it back to mainstream. I cannot beleive it. It made me so frusterated I couldn't beleive it. Just to think something that's been so huge for me since the 7th grade is now just GONE.

I like it (I haven't seen the video so I can't comment on their look). It's not the most awesome song ever, but I think it's too much to ask for perfection every time. The song is a little more mainstream, but that's because it's got to do well on it's own in mainstream radio. I understand why they'd want to choose a less intense song. I don't think it's particularly significant to the CD as a whole, though.
I think it's selfish of people to be mad that Linkin Park is changing. It's been years since their last CD, of course they're going to change and grow. It's wrong to try and stick them in a time warp and then be pissed when they don't fit in it. Linkin Park isn't singing music to save you or inspire you or whatever. They're singing because they like it, and they want to do it.
Stop expecting so much all the time. They're just human.

They shouldn't have to answer to anyone but themselves. If they like it, and are proud of it, then who are we to criticise them? They've worked hard, and have changed over the last five or so years. Of course this is going to show in their music. That being said, I still haven't made up my mind up completely about What I've Done. I really like it, but as people have mentioned, it doesn't imediately grab me like their other songs have in the past. Still, I don't understand the hardcore, "OMGIHATEIT WID SHOULD DIE!" It's not perfect, but it isn't complete s**t! I guess we'll just have to wait until the album's released...

I guess we'll just have to wait until the album's released... wow, that's almost my exact thought their other songs did immediately grab my attention like "WOAH, INTENSE 0.0"...but yeah, have to stick with changes! they sing because they like to, and apparently, they don't care wut other ppl really think about them, risking their own necks to go back to mainstream... chester looks worse? his blonde spiked hair was awesome and i couldn't even recognize anyone once i saw their pics and all, but u have to admit, the funny glasses with the fohawk (was it?) was quite tight

DaStarBillie, Lady_Salsa, and wingedlilazn, yes I do agree, but there are opinions others have. I myself like the older Linkin Park, which made them famous. In-Difference is cool, but the clones are boring. Lots of fans have been fans from the beginning, and loved them for who they were in the beginning, and it pisses them off because of their change.
Well don't start on Fort Minor, and why they like it. Personally I liked Fort Minor because Mike doesn't have that "Gimme meh hoes, my money, and my honeys. My cars are cool, but I have bling-bling." you know what I mean?
