I love Suikoden 2. It is such a great game with an amazing plot, chracters, and music!! My best party:
Shiro~Riou~Valeria
Kinnison~McDohl~Stallion
Beat Luca Blight in 7 rounds!! I think I beat the Beast Rune in 12.

Hmm....my favourite battle party would be:
Riou -- Eilie -- Viktor
Millie-- Luc -- Nanami
Luca was super-easy with this party, although a bit on the tougher side for the Beast Rune, thanks to the fact that I'm more magic-oriented than physical. Putting Pesmerga or Georg into the party in Nanami's place (after...what happened biggrin ) is very useful, IMO.

as for the beating part i leveled up to 75 with all char
and yes i beat the beast rune in 5 turns because riou forgiven sign was doing crazy DAMAGE!!!O.O like one time i killed the rune with mcdol judgement hhitting it 2500+ and when i hit the left leg with forgien sign it did 4000 + O.O, i swear this happen to me and i am not lying luca bright was a joke of a batter in the first two battles i easily took him out and had the third team deverstate him with all the runes at lv 4 i had at my disposal

Actually it's not a cheat at all. It's a rather conventional way, and it's very easy to do with any attacker. That's right, an attacker.

haha, i had problems with luca when i tried to beat him few first times biggrin that was really annoying when you beated him with two teams and lost with the lat team. but as i remember my favourite team in last of three battles with luca was:
flik /with thunder rune/ - pesmerga - humprey
luc - camus /with fire rune/ - shiera

I've clung to an obsession with Clive since that game. Rather unhealthy, I think...The only time I had problems was in the last boss battle because I forgot to equip Riou with antidotes. But then I went back, did it again, and was a-ok.
My prime party:
Pesmerga-Viktor-Flik
Clive-Riou-Sasuke
