Carl climbed on and got comfortable, assuming his regal lounge upon the king of beasts while still offering his attentions to Chastity. He'd have to remember she liked unicorns and make her something somtime, perhaps a figurine or windchime...Surely a girl such as she would appreciate something so musical.
The sound that sprung forth from the bowels of the ride's inner mechanics was not as melodious as he'd been thinking, but it meant that the ride had started, and the animals slowly began forth in time to some magic spell the music box cast, the notes flowing over them as though swept by a river of prism light.
"Here we go!"

((She luffles her 'baby' brother and all things unicorn, much to his dismay. 4laugh ))
-It wasn't a long wait at all until finally the ride lurched forward. One rickety lurch, before it fell into it's soft melodic grace, the unicorn beneath Chastity slowly lifting upwards, only to fall as the music swelled around them.
Closing her eyes softly the hummingbird took in the scents of the carnival with delight. Music, laughter, sweet and salty scent, the soft motion as they swirled around the mirrored pivot. This was why she loved the carosel so! Not because it was very exciting. But for these peaceful, beautiful moments. And for once Chastity was absolutely silent in her appreciation.-

The quiet rapture pleased him. Beneath him the ride swirled slowly on and on, continuous and fluid to the hypnotic experiance of simply being. There would be other things. Things of untold excitement and horror, but...for right now...Carl only hummed softly with the music and allowed the instincts of man's thrillseeking to dissipitate into good company and a slow, steady pace until the ride would eventually halt and they would move on.

-Finally her eyes opened, a soft fluttering as if she'd been asleep, before streched her feathers outward softly. It wasn't as if they were moving that fast, but reguardless the circular motion sent a soft breeze drifting between the plastic animals, and Chastity was happy to let that little wind ruffle at her feathers and sandy colored locks.
Leaning forward finally, resting herself against the mane and neck of the unicorn, she let her arms dangle gracefully.- "I wonder how long we can stay here? Before people worry, or before the place closes for the night. If it closes. Maybe they'll have fireworks! I've heard they do at some places. I didn't get to see them last time I went to the carnival."

Carl cast a glance up at the sky, gauging just what time it was by the posittion of the sun, or in this case - slowly lack of. The sun was beginning to set, the molten sphere sinking below the horizon. There was still about an hour left before it would be dark enough for fireworks. Just enough time for a very good idea to strike the bird. "Let's get on the ferris wheel, just before they shoot the fireworks! They wouldn't set them off close enough for it to be dangerous, and think of the view we'd get from way up there!"

"Ohhhh, that sounds exciting! I bet we have time for one or two more rides before we head to the ferris wheel. We'll be able to see the fireworks better then anyone else from up there!"
-A delighted little flittering of her wings accompanied the exclimation, and she was so enamoured in the thought, that she hardly noticed as the unicorn below her began to slow, coming to a soft halt finally, as the music softened behind them.- "Where to next then? Another ride? Or a game maybe?"

The ride had ended, apparently, so Carl slipped off and made to assist her down to earth whilst vocally going over what they could do. "Well - we could try to win a prize, or there's the spinner (think of a carnival scrambler ride), teacups, or the ring of fire...anything I missed?" Surely there were other rides like the Haunted House or the Fun House, but he wasn't sure if she would like those. Still, if that's what she wanted than they would do that.
He started off of the carosel and into the crowd, making sure she was nearby until they decided upon a set plan of action.

-Allowing herself to be assisted, Chastity slipped from the unicorn's back, quickly weaving out of the maze of animals and off the edge of the ride.-
"Hmmmmmmm. I think we should ride one more ride, and then play games until we get on the ferris wheel! That way we don't get stuck on a ride when we need to be getting in line for the wheel."
-She nodded, blonde curls bobbing in silent aggrement, as she finally spun around, smiling down to Carl, as her tail feathers flickered.- "So which ride will it be? You get the last choice, since I wanted the Carosel and ferris wheel!"

Oh that poor girl...she really had no idea about his little thing with g-forces. Being a raptor, as he was, Carl almost had an instinctive ability to pick out something that would send them hurtling into the thrilling rapture of plummetting, soaring pleasure - something he doubted a hummingbird had ever felt to full extent. Oh this would be fun...
Carl pointed to the Tilting Teacup ride. "Let's ride that one! My mom told me about this special trick you can do on it."
