He looked at her and shook his head. He had never had a chance but to talk to with others, for him and his tribe it had always been about communication. Now he meets a merchant who's buisnes depended on talking with others who hardly liked to talk at all. Well I can see why you are going to a city were they need your creatures, if you don't like to talk you mustn't be very good at drawing new costumers. His statement was ment to be an attack, he wanted to draw more conversation out of her than just a few words even if it was from the rough side of her tounge

Rui was too level headed for that remark to even phase her, although she had heard it the remark was of little value.Rui took the time to make herself comfortable before speeking. She brushed back a beeded strand of hair behind her ear and pulled her legs behind her so she leaned on one hand.
"I work a market that is rather deprived. Not a lot of people brave the dangers I do so a man may someday ride. The fact that this city dosn't get a lot of merchant traffic helps too."
She was a little more loose with her words this time. If he was sharp enough to pick up on it he might take this as an insult to his inteligence by the way she said it.

So you think to insult me with your words, you are indeed brave. Be greatful I'm not as small minded and short tempered as my kin other wise your pets might have a new master. He let out a low growl and flashed his fangs to make his point hit home as he continued to watch her and listen to the sounds of the road his ears still twitching.

For the second time that day Rui answered what seemed to be a persistent question. Even if indirectly asked. Alright it was more of a correction to a statement. She did it wearily, once again sounding as if insulting his intelligence.
"Not mine. I am a merchant not a collector or some crazy cat lady."
She added a diliberate tired sound to it, making it seem to be more the insult. The flash of teeth hardly phased her, she had seen worse fangs on liofs in her job.

This time his temper did snap his anger evident in the sudden roar that sprung from his throat sending the few birds that were in the trees to the air and startleing even Budha who was a veteran of many battles in in own right. Jedit had taken the comment of crazy cat lady litteraly assumeing she had ment the women of his race. OUR WOMEN ARE NOT CRAZY! They are far more sain than the men of any race and deserve your respect. He could take insults to himself with ease but not to his people he had to much pride for that. unclenching his fists rivlets of blood dripped from were his claws had extended and dug into the flesh of his hand. Budha still danced herviously not sure on what his master was doing or what had set him off.

(( I had to laugh at that post. that was just too funny))
Sadly, her skud was far less battle hardened than Budah and took off at a run. Pure fear had struck him, and as soon as the Tigeral started his rauring tirade the cart bolted away before he could finesh the word 'crazy'
Rui fell backwards into a, now terrified, pudge grommer. With her hair now sufficiently messed up and covered in drool thanks to the flight she just took, she sat up and shouted commands at the Skud wile trying to crawl forward so she might be heard.
Poor Buda was dragged along for the ride with the frightened skud, and Jedit was left behind.

Realizing the trouble he had just caused allowing his temper loose he bloted after the cart dropping to allfours himself Moving at a sprint a speed that should match that of the skud strapped to the cart. but not for long he had to catch them and fast.
The cart lost ground grudgeingly, once he was withing distance he lept for budha's back. He barely managed to grab the saddle and pull himself into it he had under estimated the speed of the cart, another mistake like that could cost him his life.
Cutting the reins free of the cart he heeld Budha and shot towards the front of the cart and Rui's skud. Leaning out to the side of his saddle he reached for the skuds harness and pulled back on them hoping that the frieghtened beast would take it as a sign to stop.

Wile the stop wasn't sudden enough to send her flying forward, it was enough to make Rui topple out of her seat in the cart and onto the ground. She looked up at the sky to see the edge of the cart and the reer end of Budah... or was it her own skud? She couldn't tell.
She blinked once before she sat up, carefuly so as to not hit her head on the cart's bottom like someone else in her state might have done. The cart itself wasn't in as bad of shape as it could have been, a few poor dragonflies of smaller porportions had flown backwards at, and in one case into, the cages of a few uhappy pudge grommers.
Rui waisted no time in aranging the cages once more, before any of them could have unpleasent experiences with a hungry creature of one species or another.

Soft foot falls in the forset near the cart, though they fell at a lazy pace. Sony, the Tigeral Hero for the new ages, had been wandering in the forests since his tolerance for being inside seemed to be at its limit. It was near the cart that he had heard a roar of a fellow Tigeral and wandered back toward its sound. Stepping out toward the Kert and the Tigeral warrior the much taller Sony looked over the scene with an unemotional face. Walking over to the spilled cages, he put his staff down and picked up a cage of Dragon-flies, looking over to the Kert with a smile. Setting it on the cart he picked up his staff again she leaned on it heavily as he survayed the scene again. It was odd to see a Tigeral with a mages staff, but the langy cat wasnt much of a fighter.... he wasnt even one for words. But he could only escape not talking for so long. "You should know not all creatures are used to our roars." He said to the younger, and shorter, Tigeral warrior. Looking over to the Kert he smiled gently and bowed to her. "Are you alright, m'lady?" He asked her kindly, wondering what had happened to casue such a incident.

Jedit, dismounted and let Budha;s reins Dangle, the skud not moving frm the spot. He moved towards the elder Tigeral and raised his right hand and bowed his head in respect for the tigeral. Peace favor you brother. This incadent was my own falt, I allowed my temper to get the best of me. Jedit, felt ashamed fro this tigeral was obviously a mage for the lack of weapons he carried with him and they were known for having more patience and were well respected amgonst his people.

When Rui saw the cages being placed back on the cart by tageral hands she looked up, just a glance, then back to her work... It took her a moment, but she had to do a doubble take. She watched him for a moment as he set down the remaining cages in his arms before she actualy recognised him from her readings.
Sony, the hero.
He spoke up, asking her if she was alright. Parshaly scolding Jedit as well. In this case she didn't hesitate with an answer for Sony, he was well above worthy of her time. She brushed her hair back a bit with her hand as she spoke, hoping that she could flatten down some of the strands that had gone astray in the accident.
"Yes, I am alright. It appears as if these dragonflies luck is no myth."
She told him, adding an attempt at a joke and gestureing to the dragonflies in the cart.

Nahahni walked up behind Sony. They had been walking for to long in the woods. She stopped just short behind him and held her hands behind her back.
"Seems we came just in time to help. Figures."
She stepped up beside Sony. And placed her hand on a cage, calming the creatures.
"Maybe we came at a bad time?"
She asked, a bit annoyed at being interrupted in their walk.

Sony raised his hand for Jedit's scilence as Rui spoke, more intrested in her well being. With a smiple simle he bowed slowly to her and turned to leave again, only too see Nahahni standing just behind. Shaking his head he gave a small laugh. "There is no bad timeing, only inconveniance." He said, speaking more than three sentances a day, a new record! Well, maybe not, but still amazing. Standing still and looking over his shoulder to the two travelers who they had run into.

Nahahni rolled her eyes.
"Can we go?"
Her impatience was apparent and she wasn't really one to enjoy stopping fights. If it wasn't her business she stayed away from it. But it seemed most of the time Sony wanted to help.
"Nice meeting you."
She waved.

Sony rolled his eyes to mock Nahahni just a little. "Not yet." He said, noteing her impatience and wishing she wouldnt do that. Walking over to Rui he looked at the cart and noted she may be a merchant. "Where are you guys going?" He asked in an off handed manner, leaning on his staff while he stopped to chat with the travelers.
