"Me? Aww, that's so sweet." He took it carefully from her quivering paws, his smile gentle and thankful. "Thank you very very much, Licorice." After examining the now inanimate rabbit, he held it up to his mouth, lapping the chocolate experimentally, then taking a tiny bite, deciding it tasted very good. Licorice could probably tell by the content look on his face. "Wow..this is great~ If there's anything you would like, I'd be happy to give it to you...or get it for you. i owe you at least that much, yeah?" He bowed his head in respect before continuing to nibble on the chocolate, the pink tip of a tongue darting out to keep his lips and muzzle clean.

Licorice quivered where she sat, speechless with excitement for a moment. He accepted it! He liked it! It took her a moment to fully register anything more than that simple fact, and she shook her head finally after another moment. "N-No, y-you don't have t-to! I-I like g-giving presents..." Licorice looked back down, shuffling her paws in the grass and wiggling a little, happy beyond words.

Kieran finished the bunny before he even thought he would--he usually didn't eat that much that quick-- so the boy yawned, satisfied, before smiling at Licorice. "You're so...cute." He chuckled and tugged her along with him, moving to lay out in a softer patch of green grass, pulling the black and white girl with him.
"So, how is your daughter, Licorice? Is taking care of her stressful yet?" Kieran turned to face her, grinning toothily. "What am I saying, I'm sure you two are getting along fine!"

"She's...a handful," Licorice admitted with a blush as she curled up beside him. "She's always running here and there, and I can hardly keep up!" She had no idea Kieran had little ones of his own any more than than she knew he already had a mate or else she would have inquired about them. She yawned a little at the end of her comment and rolled over onto her back to bask in the sun, greatly enjoying the blue male's company.

"I'm sure she's a wonderful little girl, and that she helps her mom whenever she can." Kieran thought about that a little more, deciding that was most likely the case. "It's too bad my daughter isn't like that. She's...very independent." He chuckled, thinking about Marani, Dawei, and Shinya. "At least Shin-chan helps out as best as he can for a little guy." Kieran stretched and shifted his position. "Shinya reminds me of you, actually. You should meet him." He smiled over at the girl in question, waiting for an answer. "I bet he'd like you."

Licorice did not correct him nor inform him that Scottie was actually rather mean even to her mother. She considered Scottie's running off a mixed blessing. She had prayed as hard as she could to the Marshmallow Swan to grant her a baby to help with her constant loneliness only to come to appreciate her solitude more once Scottie's personality had fleshed out.
The black and white numa was distracted from her brooding at Kieran's next comment though, and she blinked up at him in surprise. "You have little ones too?" Naturally, she assumed Kieran too had been blessed by the Marshmallow Swan. "I'd love to meet them!" If they were anything like Kieran, they would be much more pleasant to be around than Scottie.

"You would? Really?" He grinned, thinking about how well they would get along. Shinya was a charming and very kind boy, and if Licorice really needed anything help with anything at all, be it chores, cleaning, or even cooking (especially cooking, rather, since Shinya loves to cook). "You'll have to come over someday, and we can hang out." He licked a paw idly, feeling figety since he was so excited.

It was almost too much. Kieran was actually inviting her to come to his home and meet his little ones? Licorice had to sit on her tail to keep it from quivering in excitement. "I'd love to!" she squeaked, her spirits high again. "And I'll work on my flying so I can fly for you then." She would work very hard to get better at it for him. Scottie criticized her inability to do more than glide, but Licorice could ignore her for a while and practice.

Really? You would do that?" He put the light blue paw down, grinning. "I would really enjoy that, Licorice." He answered in earnest, ears wiggling happily. "Seeing you fly would be very cool, too. Since I know with practice, you'll be able to do it."

"Oh, yes!" Licorice answered, nodding. "I'll practice really hard so I can do more than glide next time I see you! She nodded again, determined now. She would not embarrass herself in front of him again!
