Tiki Jim nodded. "Still, I don't think that will be soon." He knew they were just toddlers, so still child and then teen. Even then not all found love at teen. They were lucky.
Waikiki KiKi giggled and rolled over. "Hee hee gots me!" He had gotten her again. She liked it though.

Reira gave a relieved sigh and laughed. "Okay, that's good. I don't want them to leave me too quickly!" She watched the kids as they played, both to make sure they stayed safe and to keep herself entertained.
Waikiki Keanu was still holding on to his sister lightly when she rolled, and with a started look he did a sort of half roll beside her before letting go. "Eee Eee!" he exclaimed, either trying to say his sister's name or just laughing.

"Does anyone want anything to eat?" Tiki Jim asked as he stood up. He would love to get them anything. He did love his family after all.
Waikiki KiKi giggled and patted her brother. "Yummys?" She asked which ment food sounded nice. Or at least something to that nature.

((I'm sorry I've been taking so long between posts! I've been absurdly busy... ^^; ))
Reira considered the offer for a moment. "I could really enjoy just a sandwich or something simple like that..." She told him. "How about you guys? Do you want a snack?"
Waikiki Keanu nodded at his sister. "Snack, snack!" he repeated, looking from his mother to his sister and then his father. He was pretty sure they were talking about food, and that sounded good.

Tiki Jim nodded. "Okay, that's good." He went to fridge and made three sandwiches. He knew the toddlers could share their's and cut it in half. He also got out some friut to go with. "Here you are!"
Waikiki KiKi giggled and took her sandwich and sucked on the end. It was good so far. It was her first solid food. Just like the grown ups. Fun!

"Snack!" Waikiki Keanu repeated once more and he took his half of the sandwich. He liked it as well, especially because it was grown-up food.
"Thank you," Reira said, taking her serving. "It looks delicious." She took a bite before striking up a conversation: "Should we take the kids surfing sometime? Or at least go learn to swim? After all, the water's practically right outside." She couldn't remember how old she was when she first went to a surfing lesson with Hula Bob, but she couldn't have been too much older than the kids were now. Also, she hadn't even been out in the water since she'd gotten pregnant, and she was really starting to miss it.

"They might want to swim...but surfing is for children. My Hula Grandaddy doesn't teach any younger. They don't really have strong legs." Tiki Jim said with a nod. "Still, we can show them swimming!"
Waikiki KiKi took up a banana piece and sucked on it for a bit. It tasted yummy.

Waikiki Keanu was still working on his sandwich. He didn't seem particularly concerned with what his parents were talking about, instead glancing about the room.
"Oh, that makes sense..." Reira replied, nodding and nibbling at a strawberry. "Maybe I had just learned to swim when I was a toddler..." She looked destracted for a moment and then gave a slight shrug. "I don't remember very well. ...I remember you were there, though... when I learned to surf." She smiled, almost slyly. "You were a very handsome child."

Tiki Jim chuckled. "Yeah, we were some the first ones to learn from my Hula Granddaddy." He remembered it well. It was nice and fun. "You were pretty too. Just like these too." He chukled and ate his food.
Waikiki KiKi tried a sour grape and then tossed it to the ground. It was not good and made her face scrunch up all funny. KiKi did not like that.

Reira smiled with a slight blush before her attention was drawn away by Waikiki Kiki. "Aww, I suppose those are an aquired taste..." she commented to the girl as she learned from her chair to retrieve the remainder of the fruit.
Waikiki Keanu noticed that throwing a grape to the floor seemed to work to get his sister attention, so he mimicked the act.

"I think they're done with their food." Tiki Jim chuckled and picked up with Waikiki Keanu threw and then their food. "I guess we should wait to teach them swimming, so what do you want to do?" He asked her with a smile.
Waikiki KiKi was done with eating so she was fine with her daddy taking it away.

((I've been so busy, and I'm just getting busier! I think I'll be going on a month-or-so long haitus soon, and even though I love getting to RP Reira and Keanu, especially with you (yes, I'm in a flowery mood. heart But it's true! ^^ ) we probably need to tie this up quickly. 3nodding As soon as I can put more time into RP, I promise I'll pester you for more. ^^ ))
Waikiki Keanu allowed the food to be taken away, watching his father for a moment before yawning.
Reira occupied herself with cleaning up the kids' faces of any food with a napkin. When her son yawned, she realized that it'd been a pretty active afternoon for the kids. "Time for another nap?" she asked them warmly. These children were going to be quite a handful when they stopped needing frequent naps!

Waikiki Kiki was not tired. She was ready to keep crawling and exploring, but if Keanu was tried then she might as well sleep too.
Tiki Jim lifted the toddler girl and put her in the cradle. "Looks like it."

((Alright, good deal. I'll get in a little post to tie it all up. ^^ ))
Waikiki Keanu yawned again and allowed himself to be picked up and set in the crib. He was nearly asleep before his head even hit the pillow.
"You're getting heavy..." Reira commented in a calm, hushed voice as she set Keanu down and pulled up the blanket to cover him. "I guess my little babies are just growing up, aren't they?" She set a gentle kiss on each of her children's foreheads and made sure they were tucked in before turning to Tiki Jim and giving him his own lingering kiss. "They're good kids, aren't they?" she commented with a warm smile.

Waikiki KiKi didn't want to sleep but soon slept anyway. The toddler might not of known, but the more she sleeps the more fun she can stay awake for.
Tiki Jim smiled and kissed Reira. "Of course they are!" He chuckled and smiled. "They are awesome!"
