"Not much farther." She said quietly as the two continued onward. Turning corners, walking in the safe darkness of the alleyways, avoiding most groups or sounds... For Crow, it was a simple matter of just remembering right, left, left, left, right, and also random landmarks. Landmarks are always helpful, since streets continue on-and-on it was better to remember landmarks. Usually more than one at one spot, just to make sure.
She broke the silence that went on in her mind suddenly with a random query of "why?". She had stopped and turned back to Writ, a curious glint in her eye.

"Well... My parents wanted me back an hour ago." Writ said, "I'm not in any hurry though."
He just padded away on the sidewalk, following her.
"So, you've met the green lady too?"

The green lady? Crow pondered for a moment. "Oh, Miss Floros? Yeah... Did she give you a funny little trinket?"
Crow placed her left hand in her khaki pocket and fiddled with the said trinket for a moment.

"Yeah, you too?." Writ took out the arrowhead that was hanging around his neck out of his shirt. The obsidian charm glistened in the dull orange streetlights.
He rubbed the arrowhead with his thumb. A feeling of warmth emitted from it slightly, and died down again.

Crow simply nodded, and continued on walking. "Do you want me to walk you home?"

"I'm okay." Writ said, "I know Middling like the back of my hand." He checked the back of his hand to make sure.
"What about your house?" Writ asked, "I think you'd be in as much trouble as I was."

Crow remained silent, rather than delving into her past with a stranger, she would just leave things up in the air.
"Well, Middling is just two streets from here."

Writ's ears drooped a little in the silence.
"Thanks." He said, the streets becoming familiar again, "Hey... You wanna play with one another sometime? You know, on the same team?" It was the least he could do, he'd still be lost if it weren't for her.
Coyote was doing a little proding as well.

Crow pondered for a few moments, and then smiled very gently. "Okay."
She suddenly turned, and clomped away. After a few paces she stopped and turned back around. "See you some other time, Writ!"
She then took off, back into the darkness.

Writ waved back and said "See ya!"
He watched her walk... Clop away.
Oh geez, what time was it? Must've been another hour passed. Better get back!
And he ran off.
