CaleDarksun Ryunosuke the White For Thairon the Purple, does anyone know a big, strong alien species that I can use for him? I was thinking of one of those Rancors like from The Courtship of Princess Leia (But not a large adult one because those are waaay too big.). Maybe a genetically enhanced Rancor that is intelligent and not too big... Hm... Feeorin. they're big guys, and their skin comes in a variety of colors. yhe pirate Nym from Starwars:Starfighter is a Feeorin.

Didn't you read the last few posts? It is an idea for a manga I have about a special elite Jedi task force and each of them have a color. I was looking for suggestions or something.

Sounds a bit weird to me...maybe you could atribute the colors of their lightsabers to there colors in their names. Just a suggestion.

yeah...makes them sound like wizards from lord of the rings or power rangers... you might just skip the color part and just have them be a task force. adding the colors just adds information that is unnecessary.

Well it's not like I would make them say "Dranaan the Green, go kill that guy!" That's just stupid. It's a title, almost like Grand Moff or Admiral or something. I would only make someone call them that when it is some sort of special occasion.

jedi dont really have titles though. the only rankings youll ever see are padawan, knight, master.
if you can justify them as like code names or something then id say it works.

they wouldn't be true jedi if they claimed the titles.

I'm still working on it. But I guess I could take away the titles and just have the hems of their robes and their lightsabers the color that they are.

only during war time do jedi take titles and thats really only out of necessity of keeping order amongst themselves. in later times jedi are trained to be more independant. therefore every master/padawan couple is a task force of their own. so i suggest setting your story back at least a thousand years. its rougher territory but thats a good place.
ive written in the 4000 bby(before battle of yavin) and the 1000bby area. slightly freer to do what you want cause not much is written, well minus the 4000bby. look into it though, you might like it.
