Elli went out on the hunt. A herd of zebra were nearby, and she stalked a weakening male until she was able to cut him off from the herd and bring him crashing to the ground under her weight, her teeth locking around his throat and ending his life. She backed away slowly and glanced up, breathing lightly.
The old creature had had a slim chance of survival. She had been hunting his kind since she was a cub.
She had been earning her name.
Ellidanio. A Huntress. A true Huntress. She was ready to return 'home'.
As she headed back she wondered about her friends.
Kallivenion and Sonic had been there to say goodbye.
But what about Solio? And Rackna? She hadn't seen them.
"Boy are they gonna be surprised when they see me again." She murmured to herself and smiled. She missed them all. "I'm going home."
