pantzLOL I have to admit, some episodes have made me tear up. For example, when Lisa's substitute teacher, Mr. Berkstrom, leaves town, and he gives her a piece of paper that says, "You are Lisa Simpson." I always tear up at the end off that episode crying . They make a reference to it in a newer episode when Lisa takes out the piece of paper again. I can't remember what happens in the newer episode, but I think I got a little angry because they turned it into a bad joke, or something. My memory is a little fuzzy though.

Lisa's Subsitute ALWAYS makes me cry. Yardly Smith's preformance when Mr. Bergstrum is leaving is just so good.

I've only cried from laughing so hard. And that was while I was drunk.
The episode where the bear attacks homer so he builds the bear suit and at the end he has to save the bear. I was laughing so hard I cried. But then I was also yelling at the tv screen for the bear to run faster and cheered like mad when he was safe.

I have to admit........the maggie episode made me goooo awwwww, the simpsons episode when homer meets the new girl that works with him and they have soo much in common and it seemed like they were meant to be together and homer got depressed and stuff. it reminds me of my ex gf and it makes me cry

I dont think the Simpsons have ever made me cry... But any episode about Homer's past generally tends to make me sad, because while I dont actually like him that much, I sympathise with him, he's had it pretty hard ^_^; I think I might have teared up slightly once while watching the episode with Grandma Simpson in it... That one was sad XP
I think the episode that made me the saddest (for some reason) was the one where Homer goes into another dimension while trying to escape having to deal with his sisters in law, and as a result ends up in the real world (as in our world... or something" That episode always made me really sad for some reason...XP

When I saw that episode recently, I have to admit, I started to cry. Also, the episode, where they are telling about all of the kid's first words, and at the end, Homer says to maggie, "I hope you never say a word. The sooner kids start to talk, the sooner they start talking back." And then when Homer leaves the room, Maggie takes her pacifier out of her mouth and says, "Daddy." It was just so touching...
So, any episodes that made you cry? I thought the one when Homer had to say godd bye to his mother after seeing her many years earlier, it was a sad ending, made me other my mother.

that one with maggie saying daddy made me cry like a baby. and NO animations whatsoever have done that. Did you know.. elizabeth taylor got a buttload of money for voicing that one word? little bit of trivia.

I didn't cry over it, but the episode where Homer quits the Power Plant then comes back because Maggie was born was touching. The family was looking through a photo album and Bart asks Homer why there's no pictures of Maggie and him, then Homer says oh there's pictures. Then it flashes to Homer's workstation and a plaque that Burns had made that said, "Don't forget you're here forever."
Homer used pictures of himself and Maggie to cover up letters to make the plaque say "Do it for her."

No, but Futurama did once, the episode where he brings his dog back, cuz my dog who i knew since I was born was very sick and I thought she wasnt gonna make it, and how much that dog loved him reminded me of her. She lived, but died a year later (less than a month ago)

yeah i thought the episode with the kids first words and maggie goes:"daddy"was the cutest thing ever and the episode in futurama with that dog was sad... cry
