Well anyways, looks like this topic is dead.....most seem satisfied of the Sephiroth game idea. rolleyes With that much popularity Sephiroth has (and doesn't deserve) it's only a matter of time before the actual game comes out. stare

See, the thing is, Sephiroth didn't want any help.

"Leave me Alone..." I think is what he said, if not that something similar. Now what sane person is going to actually try to start an arguement with the strongest SOLDIER, if not person, ever. Basically i'm saying, if anyone TRIED to help him, they'd probably get a taste of Masamune, or something similar.

I hate Sephiroth, because I pretty much recognize him Post-Nibelheim; Pre-Nibelheim, and the events leading up to it, Sure, I can sympathize. But somewhere along the line, he learned that he was born, contrary to what he had thought, and just continued on with his plan.

Also, It's not like he went with Vengeance or anything; He just went insane and attempted to, from what I saw, Gain Immense power and Destroy the World.

But as I said, I hate him because he's basically recognized Post-Nibelheim in my mind. =P

Unless they found some way to revive Sephiroth AGAIN, there couldn't be a story to it. Personally, I would buy it just on the novelty of a Sephiroth game, I wouldn't really not recommend making one.

What sort of plot would you give him? It doesn't make sense to make a game with Sephiroth since his story is pretty much complete. You won't have any character development.

A good example of a Plot for Sephiroth is to Play FFVII in your head as a Tall guy with long white hair and a proficiency for Destruction, along with the very rare Life 2. (Nibelheim joke... Very rarely, Sephiroth would cast Life 2 on Cloud if he died.)

Now, Read some books, think you are some By-Product of a Biological experiment, Go Insane, Get Pwned by a Level 1 Noob, and Go Dormant for a couple of years, Wake up, Kill Holy Incarnate (Aeris, for those who didn't read my earlier post), Summon meteor, and Get Pwned again.

All Leet/Chat-Speak and Random Killing Sprees aside, That is the General Sephiroth Story-line. Now, Think of How Much Stuff was Crammed into FFVII as a Whole, and How Long, but Oh-So-Short the Game is, and How it leaves you wanting more. Now, Take a Sliver of that, and make a Game out of it that's worthwhile.

Point being: Sephiroth, is from a Neutral Standpoint, pretty cool, and from my Biased one, an Evil b*****d; Problem is, His Entire Story is Played out, period. There is little more than a Pre-Existant Plot, with hardly any gameplay available to it. =
