She nipped at her brother's shoulder before pulling away from him, hoping that he'd just leave her alone. She didn't want to talk to any of the silly boys. She wanted to talk to her momma... Maybe Momma'd understand even if her silly ol' Da and her silly ol' brother didn't.
He picked up his pace once in the woods, catching up with Sedi just in time to see Atsila take off. "Let'er go. Ah'll talk ta her when we get back. You an' Ah are gonna talk now, Sedeh..."

He looked up at his father when he spoke to him. "Ah didn't do nothin." He scrunched his nose and kicked up a small cloud of dust. "I was just lookin out fer her and she got all mad at me"

"Ah know... But girls? D'ey funny creatures. D'ey get all huffeh an' sometimes you jus' gotta let 'em blow off steam b'fore you go an' make 'em huffeh again." He was, slowly but surely, begining to realize that most females at least had that in common.
He stopped moving, turning to his son. "You did tha right thing... Watchin' out for your sistah, no matter how upset she get 'bout it. S'your job ta keep an eye on her, an' any otha lady in your life as ya get oldah."

"Why day gotta get all huffy? is'stupid." His nose scrunched again as he looked up at his father. It didn't make any sense for his sister to get huffy when he was only doing what he was told and making sure she was safe.
"Of course! Gotta make sure der safe and speciall gotta look out fer mah and 'Stila"

"Ah think it's 'cause they women. Somethin' 'bout bein' a lady gives d'em da right ta be huffeh no matter what we think 'bout it. Some sort 'o female thing." He shook his head slowly, tail giving a swish behind him.
"That don't jus' go for your momma an' your sistah. That goes for any mare who winds up bein' special ta you. Y'always do what's right."

"But ow'come we don't got stuff like dat?" He couldn't think of anything that his dah could get away with just because he was a stallion. If the girls could do that then they should get something too.
He nodded at his fathers later words. He knew that he had to be good to girls because his dah was and he wanted to be just like Remy.

"'Cause we ain't girls." He snorted, that dry sound coming off as more of a laugh this time than it had the last. "Girls are special... D'ey give things we can't get on our own. Without 'em there wouldn't be no us. Without your Ma there'd be no Sedi... No Beau, no Atsila."
Now, without Rogue there would be no him. Oh, he would exist but it would be an empty existance, just as it had been before Kitara. Kitara had given him hope and Rogue had given him life.
He shook his head slowly, looking down to his son. "Y'gotta take care of all of your family. Not jus' 'Sila, Beau and your Momma. The pretty lady's gonna be a part o' dis family o' ours too..."

"Girls er weird." He shook his head and looked at where his sister had run off to. "Why can't day be easier ta talk ta? Silly girls"
Remy was right though. He would have to take care of his mamma and his sister and his brother and of course the pretty lady. "Ya didn't do nothin to the pretty lady did ja? I'll be mad at cha if ya did somethin." He glared at his dah as he spoke. She'd been mad at his dah last time and he wanted to be friends with her.

"Non, the pretty lady an' Ah are friends now. Very good, close friends." He nodded slowly before casting his glance towards the woods. He'd give her another day or so before going in search of her. As much as she wanted time to herself he didn't want anything to happen to her.
"Ah don't know why d'ey can't be easier ta talk to. Somethin' bout them we ain't never gonna undahstand no matta' how hard we try. We jus' gotta be understandin'... Or try ta be."
