"It might not be a crock. It could be true." It wasn't, of course. As true as it could be it couldn't be just as much. "I am glad that you made it out of that mess with those flying infernoes with fangs. They truly are unpleasant creatures. You'd think that, with all of the time they'd spent amongst others it would have softened their disposition slightly."

He rolled his eyes slightly. They could go around in circles for hours and hours about what could and couldn't be true about the Plan but it never got them anywhere. The Plan was flawed and at this point probably even the higher ups knew.
"I think being around each other makes them worse. I met another here. She was rather ... well laughable. I am surprised she's even alive at this point with the way she acts."

His nose scrunched slightly. "You mean they wander around freely here? I thought there were some sort of restrictions involving such things. Laws. Rules. Directions as far as the Plan is concerned. Aren't there supposed to be guidelines that even those on your side are required to adhere to?"

"Yes, but it seems that those things don't apply here. She was wandering around freely and i get the impression that others do too. Though i think they are far less numerous than others, or i'd hope so." He shook his head slightly. "So far this place is rather .... not fitting to what i remember"

"So, in other words, the Code is more Guidelines than actual Rules and need not be followed?" His head was begining to ache. "Wonderful. I will most definately make note of that for when I am expected to report back to whomever." He shook his head, tossing golden curls this way and that. "I suppose I should be glad that I am not alone then... Afterall, you are here with me even if we are on different sides."

"If they'd ever bothered to make rules that made sense they'd work but seeing as how they have wonderfully forgotten that things aren't how they were oh so long ago yes." He shifted his weight slightly. "It is good you are here too. I'd get so bored all on my own."

He cleared his throat, taking a moment to shift himself on his hooves as he tossed his head back before looking to the other stallion from the corner of his eye. "If I didn't know better, Crowley, I would almost think that you were going soft. Must just be my imagination, yes? You would never do something good, afterall." He nickered, tones lingering somewhere in the realm of teasing.

"Gone soft? Never." He huffed slightly. "I can just appreciate having someone worth my time around rather than, well, idiots." He looked at the other. "I would think you're the one who's gone somewhere. Decide that the air around here was too warm for your tastes? Not the same as up there is it?"

"It's alright, Crowley. I won't tell anyone that you enjoy my company." He nickered, tail giving a slightly triumphant swish behind him as he dipped his muzzle to the water once more to wet his throat. "Nothing's quite the same as There but, after a while, it all begins to blend. Afterall, I've been here for longer than I can remember now. It's not so bad being out of the high mountains. I don't need to worry about lacking the ability to soar through the skies if I stumble off of a cliff. There is a reason for all of this. I'm certain."

He had always wondered how Az got around the not being able to fly. He'd never had to worry about it since not having wings was more of an advantage to him.
"If you started telling people i'd have to wonder if you weren't trying to come over to my side."

"Come over to your side?" He snorted softly, giving his head a toss to make his mane ripple. "No, no. You've got it all wrong. You see, by enjoying my company you're proving that there's a bit of Good in you, even if it is Deep Down. Are you certain that you don't want to be on my side?"

"By that same logic you've got to have some bad in you and could just as much want to come over to my side." He raised is brown and flicked his tail. "And you know my side's so much more entertaining than yours"

"Do I look as if there could possibly be any bad in me?" His brow lofted in return, head tilting to the side. "I happen to like my alignment just the way it is, thank you."

"You're talking to me so there has to be just a little bit of it there." Though by that logic he was also slightly good but he'd never admit to it. "Either way, you're not bad and i'm not good and that's just the way it works. Eternity trying to make the other switch sides"

"Talking to you doesn't make me a little bit of bad. It makes me a bit more good. Not all good natured creatures would try to converse with something bad." He nickered softly, trying not to smile too broadly. "I wasn't trying to make you switch sides either. You'd be horribly miserable if you always had to keep your outlook bright."
