"Could he have known there are two of you, maybe?" he asked, tilting head thoughtfully. A missing brother was one possible reason to be a bit weird talking about family with your son, maybe. He was about to speak up again when Kinari suddenly said the name Kroga, a simple name that Wahabu realized was another one that had been thrown about his in vision. However why made no sense.

"That name was in there," he murmured to Trig, and glanced sheepishly to the side as if he could see Kinari through his giant shiled, "And I can't control this, I don't know if I could figure out anything else.."

"Exactly, this lion is useless. His words are just lies. If you want to prove anything you have to do it yourself."

Kinari spoke as he rose to his feet. So what is Kroga's name was in there? Nothing he said made no real sense. This other, larger lion is a dimwit to even try to reason with his words. They were illogical. He looked around, where thehell was Na-be.

"So then.... you can't really help me then..."

Trig sighed and slouched. A waste of time. He was a bit better off waiting for Kami. Apparently, this lion did know much at all about his father but his name. Everything else.... was theory. There was no sound proof or story.

"Maybe Kinari's right..."

Wahabu frowned when he was declared useless by Kinari, and then by Trig, even though the larger and friendlier lion was much kinder about it. He'd been working on standing up for himself, mostly around girls because he was so nervous around them, but this was another good situation. He needed to at least act confident!

"I can't tell you where your father is now, or where he has been lately, unless I happen to get another dream or whatever the heck that was that just happened," he answered, getting a bit more defensive than he intended, "I can't tell you why I have them, but I can tell you that I've been right before. Why would both of you show up here around the same time, and when I happen to be here?" Now he was getting deeper into theory and personal beliefs. One could believe things happened for a reason, or one could not. There was no denying that it was a strange coinsidence that they should run into a seer who has no control over what he sees, and yet has had a dream about them before.

"I can't explain it, but you two are brothers," he said, getting to his feet and moving to indicate he intended to leave, "Good luck finding proof about that. If Kroga and Suzuko are dead, you better hope Argoko has the answers." He didn't even realize he managed to rattle off a new name without thinking about it.

Both paused. They again exchanged looks, glanced at Wahabu and then each other. Immediatly, the two lions moved before the other and stared at him.

"How did you know that name?"

Trig spoke.

"That was my mother's name. I don't recall telling you it at all."

"Don't lie, freak, Suzuko was my mother. Kroga told me so when I was younger. Don't go spreading your own lies now."

Trig dismissed Kinari's comment and looked on at Wahabu.

"I came here to find out what my father has been up to as I am not with him to watch his back."

Trig explained.

"And I came here looking for a lion named....." he cut off when he remembered what he was warned. Na-be, son of Mrost the God of War, was able to see things too. Visions. "You. You're a bloody seer!"

"A what?"

"A seer, they can see things in the past and future. That is how you know this stuff isn't it. Answer it and I won't have to kill you."

Trig immediately took a step before him, glaring back. His protective instincts kicked in. He was not gonna let anyone hurt anyone as long as he was around to prevent it. And right now, his curiousity drove him forward.

Ah, so figuring out names like Kinari and Argoko were nothing but when you suddenly threw in the name of their mother it all came together. Wahabu stopped to just look at them funny now. He just said they were brothers and Kinari was still bent on believing it was not possible- even when he and Trig now shared a mother.

"Like I said, you're brothers," he sighed, "Argoko and Suzuko."

Ok, now he was even weirding himself out a bit. But it was nothing as how weirded out he was when suddenly accused of being a seer. Luckily, the term sounded familiar- though from conversation with his mother. She didn't explain much, but she did mention that. He supposed it was right, then.

"I- I guess so," Habu shrugged.

Kinari growled and glanced up at Trig and then back to Wahabu.

"Alright, alright, damn it. Say if you are right and we are brothers, how come we don't know? How come Kroga is my father that I remember and Argoko is supposidely my real father. How do you think that happened, seer?" he growled, moving a bit closer. "Go back into that dream-state and get an answer. If not, then I will put you in one myself!"

Again, Trig put a paw on Kinari's chest, stopping him.

"Enough, brother." it was odd saying that word. "Leave him alone. And clearly...." with a smirk. "I am older, bigger, and stronger than you."

"So what? I am smarter and not afraid of getting hurt. In fact, I love the pain so you can hit me all you want, I'd just be loving it."

Perhaps Kinari was the one who was screwed in the head. Trig looked back at Wahabu.

"Can you tell us anything else? If you are able to tell me soemthing about my father's recent events then I will leave and will take this one will me and leave you alone. However.... I dun think this one will leave that easily with proof that we are blood-related...."

"I didn't see any of that, Kinari," Wahabu said indignantly. He'd never really talked about his visions to anyone, and some were so random he never expected to run into any of the figures found within them- how surprising it was to realize that these were familiar faces, "Unless you know how to induce visions, I'm quite sure I'm best off not letting that happen, and Trig doesn't seem to be letting it."

He looked between the brothers as they argued about violence, and it made him cringe inside. Wahabu was being braver, and he was standing up for himself much more than usual- but he had his limits. He was by no means a very violent lion.

"I don't have any proof, only what I have seen," he shrugged, "About your father-- all I can say is that some areas I saw him in did not look familiar, and some did. He's been in the Pridelands, but I don't know how to tell when exactly that happened. For all I know, it was showing me time all around when you both were just born.."

Kinari growled and lunged at Wahabu.

"Damn you, you little freakin-"

Instantly, Trig put a paw on his chest and pushed him down to the ground, holding him down the best he could from all his struggling. Trig growled as Kinari's paws clawed up at his leg.

"Wahabu, you have two options. It is either you do as he says somehow or you run out of here."

Trig growled as he focused to keep the lion under him pinned. However, his mind kept wandering back to the thoughts he had prior. What did his father mean when he said he could not have fun with him around? Did he mean mating again? Did he get over mother that quickly? How did Kinari forget that he was his brother? How did he forget? What happened back then? There were so many questions...

Maybe a little selfishness.....

"I suggest the first option."

Wahabu leapt back with a yelp when Kinari was suddenly lunging at him, and was glad to have a giant golden shield to protect him. He certainly stood no chance against someone so experienced looking. The adolescent had some scars, but they were wounds from almost letting his sister kill him. He was not going to let that almost happen again, that was for sure.

"You can't try anything here, this is a very public place even if you can't see them," he warned, oddly fighting back in a reasonable sort of way. It was not something he usually did. He felt if he was safe anywhere, it was here in the heart of the Pridelands and not off, away from the rock and near his family's den. It was more private, and he certainly was not hard to track down.

"I don't control it, but if you have any patience you could seek answers out in your father and come back another time to see if I've seen anything else," he said, getting a little shaky sounding about this, "I can try, but yelling at me won't get us anywhere right now.." Wahabu's mind started to whirl with ways to try to make the visions come back, a way to make it happen now so he could help them and not get attacked by a very nasty looking lion. He had no idea, and he wished he did- even if it wasn't to answer those questions now, but for his own reference.

Trig grunted as he was kicked at, looking down at Kinari who swore off wordsto high heaven. He was acting like a child that was being held down. Trig ignored his 'brother' the best he could and looked back at the youngest male. He had a point this place was very public, home to the territory's pride. There must have been many hunters, males and females, and his brother stood no chance against them no matter how strong he was. Then again, Trig was putting little effort in holding him down. But in turn, he was quite large....

"Kinari, shut up. I don't care who you are, what you've done, or where you've been, this is the Pride lands, this is Pride Rock, the center of the territories pride, if you want to start a hundred on one fight to start out, be my guess, but I am not gonna let my 'brother' get his tail kicked for being a damned idiot."

The golden male growl, once again swearing as his temper rose ever so slightly. His teal eyes shot back at Wahabu.

"I know you can't, you've told us time and time again. I would be willing to get down and beg if it got me some answers. I am no longer with my father now, I don't know what he has been up to. He is growing older and with age comes the deterriation of the body. I am worried about what he's up to, and the last words he gave me still leave me uneased. I don't know where he is, I don't know what he has been doing, that is why I am asking you. You, a seer."

Kinari growled and scoffed.

"That two-bit prophet can't tell if the sun is coming even if the sun turns red. This mental maniac is liar and brother or not, you can't tell me what to do. Get off of me or I will kill the both of you."

"Calm down, Kinari. If Wahabu here can tell us something, something that proves, without a doubt that we are brothers, will you shut up and stop this stupid idea of killing us? Maybe you are the mental maniac."

Kinari could only laugh at the counter of the golden lion.

"Perhaps I am, I am Terror after all! But I could see your offer. I'll take it knowing that this moron can't tell a fortune even with a bag of bones."

A smirk.

Ok, now Wahabu was getting himself into trouble here. He was doing very poorly trying to convince them that what he saw was real, and all the put downs from Kinari were starting to make him consider the idea himself. What if this was just a giant, crazy coinsidence? Then he remembered his mothers' words, to pay attention to his dreams, and how he couldn't possibly know any names and stories about these lions otherwise! Why couldn't Kinari see that logic?

While the supposed-brothers talked, Wahabu closed his eyes and tried to force a vision upon himself, tried to figure out anything he missed. Needless to say, it didn't work- and instead he tried reviewing what he did know.

"Argoko, he was in the Pridelands," he murmured audibly, but was mostly talking to himself, his eyes open again and staring at the ground, "It looked familiar, kind of- how much does the land change in a short time? It could have been sooner rather than later.." Now Wahabu was taking the leap from simply seeing to interpreting. His idea didn't offer much to Trig in ways of wanting to know that his father was up to, but it put in the idea that he could have been here recently. Another thing that was hard to prove.

He hmmmed a bit, and continued, "Brothers, brothers.."

Both Trig and Kinari puased, Kinari stopped strugging and the other let up. They both just watched him from their position as if cautious that if they moved he'd lose his concentration. What was he doing? Was he going through another vision? What was he seeing? Everything was all but questions now.

Trig watched with teal eyes, watching, looking, trying to find out if what he saw was what he wanted to know. What was his father up to? Was he safe? Did he.... find a female? Wait, he said he wanted to have some fun but he couldn't with him around. So with him gone, had his father gone with some female? If that happened..... now there were even more questions running through his head. ....Was there more?

Kinari watched, he had to admit that all of this was very far (and I mean far) fetched. How can any of this be true? It just doesn't seem plausable for this to happen. Why would a cub be taken from his brother? What happened then? So much has happened and yet neither of them could remember.... what was going on? How? Why? His eyes narrowed and opened his maw to say something but decided against it, waiting for the seer to finish.

Silence, he finally had silence. Time to think, time to forget the threats and focus on the visions. He was under a lot of pressure, he could feel their eyes, but at least the pressure of his life being threatened if he had no answers was relieved. He was not being threatened, and now Kinari knew he'd be far outnumbered if he tried something..

"Brothers," he hesitated on the word. Trig and Kinari were not the only brothers in the equation, was there another brother? Maybe.. Were Argoko and Kroga brothers? Seemed likely.. It was a very important word, the most important part of all of the vision, he felt.

"Do either of you have any other brothers you know about?" he asked curiously, looking up from the ground to them. It wouldn't be hard to guess what he was getting at, that there could be more of them that were brothers. But what did that mean? And why couldn't he find an answer about why Kinari was with Kroga?
PostPosted: Fri Mar 16, 2007 6:34 am

"Yes, there is another one but not blood related to us entirely if you assume us as brothers."

Trig spoke as Kinari watched him. Another brother? Kinari's red eyes narrowed on the larger male, who? He turned his head back to Wahabu to see what he was gonna say next. His mission was to come to the Pride Lands and tie up some loose ends for another lion, if you'd call him that. But this? It was interfering with his work, but it was too interesting to pass up. A brother? His entire life he had only known his father and the name of his mother and nothing else. He was told that Kroga was his only father, his true father. Apparently, he lied. Kinari opened his maw to say something but Trig started to speak again.

"His name is Moto'Vianzio, a rogue Firekin. He goes by Trigger now, but he assures me that his mother was the same as ours, Suzuko, and the father being a Firekin. I cannot forget what he had told me when he stayed with me in my cove along the shore. He is a half-brother too us but that is the only 'brother' I can recall of. Besides Kinari and me, of course."

"Are you saying there is another one of you giants around? Geez, what the hell is with you freaks; a two-bit prophet, a freak, and there is another one!?"

"He's a Firekin, they are naturally this way. Wahabu, can you tell us anymore?" Trig looks at Kinari. (Threaten him and I will hurt you....)

Wahabu was semi-surpirsed to hear that there was another brother to mention in this story, and when he heard the name it (ironically) triggered another connection.

"Trigger?" he asked, tilting his head and almost laughing, though he didn't know exactly why, "That's like your name.. and.." He hesitated as he tried to think about it. Trigger was another brother, and yet his name seemed to be separate words, two meaningful words. "Are you sure there aren't more of you? Maybe there is.." he suggested before deciding to elaborate a bit on the reasons for his guess.

"I can tell you that what seems to be important for all this is brothers, there's something about it," he nodded, glancing over at Kinari warily for a moment. Wahabu's mind was a jumble of information that he was trying to make clear, make sense of. One look at Kinari and he could see something of Kroga there, for his colors certainly seemed more matched to him. He had felt the conflict in his visions, he'd suspected already that there was some relation between Argoko and Kroga and what he little he knew about genetics supported his ideas. Him and Kilango had both had spots on their shoulders and atleast one red eye, and neither mama nor baba had them.

"And- on that note- I think your fathers might have been brothers," he murmured, not willing to commit to it just yet in case this got another rise out of Kinari. He'd done him the courtesy of referring to Kroga as his father, for blood was not everything about being a father, Kinari proved that.
