DarkAngel65 KimCL DarkAngel65 KimCL DarkAngel65 KimCL DarkAngel65 KimCL DarkAngel65 KimCL DarkAngel65 Although I do agree with your points, something to consider is the fact that each book covers a full year, and it is hard to get all of that into a two hour movie. To get everything in its entire detain you would be sitting through a 12 hour movie. Although I did not love the movies, I liked them and I think that the two directors (Chris Columbus, Alfonso) did a good job with what they had. I disagree, Alfonso added alot of stuff that shouldn't even be in there. Columbus did do a good job given what he had. Atleast the next movie will be directed by a Britian.Yes, he did. I thought that the 4th one was also going to be directed by Alfonso? No it's not, JKR didn't like that to well. sweatdrop JKR didn't like the way Alfonso made the film to be? I don't think so, I could be wrong though. That's just what I heard.hum... Ok. Last I read last year sometime was that Alfonso was scheduled to direct the next one. But that may have changed. I know for a fact Afanso isn't directing the upcomming film, I read it myself in a HP magazine. :3EDIT: Mike Newell is the director. Do you know any movies that he has directed in the past? I have no idea who he is.Ok. Me neither. I just googled him and he directed 'Mona Lisa Smile' and 'Four Weddings and a Funural'

Suposibly Mike Newell is a true "artist" with his movies. Or so I hear. I hope that is ture, because the Harry Potter movies need true imagination to truly live. 3nodding

I'm glad you agree.
But it's also hard, because every artist has a different view or idea in their imagination, so we will never get the hogwarts that we hold in our hearts.

Yeah that's true. I'm sure when were like 80 they'll start making them again and they'l be so high tech we'll like the old ones better.

I wouldn't be surprised, I think the Harry Potter books will be famous for generations. They have gotten kids to love reading, and I am sure kids won't stop loving them.
And yes, then we'll be all, "Classics are the best" whent the kids go, "AW MAN look how much the CG sucked in that one, it looks so fake."

I am a fan of the books. And most fans hate the movies because they aren't as good. I agree they are no where near as good, but I still love the movies regardless.

Yes. Time limits and growing children stop them from taking more time and getting everything in there. *sigh*

Oh yes, I just hope they can keep some of the same actors into the rest of the movies, though I think they wont be able too. It would be wierd seeing a different Harry Potter and the gang.

It was weird enough changing Dumbledore because Richard Harris died. Imagine if they changed Harry? *Shudders* Not something I would enjoy.
