I thought about that word "love" too, when that chapter came out. I forgot Kairi-san had a thread for chapter covers... or I would've mentioned it earlier.
If it really translated to "he threw away his love" then it means that he must've loved something. Though if it translates as "he threw away love" then it could mean Sakura or him.
But whatever. As long as the word "love" is there, it makes me waaay happy. I don't think Kishi-sensei would just put that word there without thinking of the consequential effect it has on the fandom.

It would take a fool for someone to guess this one wrong. To tell the truth, I've always been curious about the covers. Everytime I would read them I'd try to examine it and analyze to see what it foreshadows. ;3 Kishimoto-san is so deep. Hmmm...that would be really interesting...Sasuke's rival in love---his own brother...? mrgreen

Thanks so much for posting this! I never payed close enough attention. Every Sakura one has some thing to do with Sasuke. And that last Sasuke one. Ohh, it just gets me excited.
