Kat looked at where she was going, then she stopped, where was that stupid funny shaped rock she saw on the way here? She walked in a circle, in several different directions, then spotted it a few yards away, "No, this way, thats it this way..." she said, still slightly unsure and confused. She padded that way, paused, peeked to see if he was following, and started that way. She could see pride rock in the distance, so she knew she was going the right way.
Guess this wasn't so bad afterall.

With all the direction changes Kat made, Wahabu was started to get a bit confused himself. Luckily for him, though, he knew the area well enough to be able to stop and look around and regain his bearings. He hopped along after Kat, mimicing every circle she made and a couple times considering mentioning which way to go- but she soon caught back on.
"Very good," he beamed, "Not lost at all yet!"
He figured it would be hard to do, considering they had Pride Rock glaring at them from a distance.

Kat smiled and shook her head, "Guess not, but you helped get me here, give the idea to head us back, I think if I'm going the right way, we should be there soon...I so have to tell Ai about this!" she was excited to tell him, she wondered what he'd think. Hopefully be happy that she could make her way around and such. Yes, that'd be nice.
She continued along, Pride Rock seeming to close in on them, they were almost there, then she could run to her and Ai's den and tell him what she had done.
So excited...

"Yeah, but the hard part if getting back because it's all backwards," he replied brightly, and grinned at her obvious enthusiasm about tell Ai about their trip, "I'm sure he'll be happy to hear that you know where to fish, and can find your way atleast there and back. I bet you'll figure everything here in no time!"
What a nice day this had ended up being! It was always nice to run into friendly lions.

She nodded and smiled happily, her tail flicking back and forth now and again with every other step she took on her way back home. She hoped he'd be happy, it'd be nice to fish and bring something back for him as a surprise sometime. She was so used to fish, she wondered what else she could catch if she put her mind to it. Seemed like anything she put her mind to, she could do in time.
"Yea, I hope so, would be nice to know where everything is...we're almost there see," Kat said pointing with her nose to the spot that looked like where she had first seen Wahabu. She was glad she spotted the yellow pridelander out here.
She stopped when she got there, sat back and sighed, "that was...interesting..." she said with a laugh, and half yawned. She was tired, she should probably head back now. "I think I might go take a nap..." she said raising herself from her position of sitting back, "I'll come and find you again though okay? We could do something fun again," she said with a smile. She stretched her legs, gave him one last smile, and started padding back home.
She stopped to wave back at him, and then kept on her way.
Yes, she had to tell i about the new friend she had made.

Wahabu watched their path, grinning the whole way as Kat led them perfectly. They were not going backwards step-for-step, but she was certainly going to get them there in no more time than it had taken to get away from it! When they reached there destination, he beamed, "See, you made it. And you've earned a nap, I think." Kat had done very well, and Wahabu was sure that Ai would be happy- even though he didn't really know Ai himself.
"I'd like seeing you again," he replied brightly, he didn't have very many friends he saw that often, and then he called after her, "Have a good day!" With that, he looked around to decide what it was he was going to spend the rest of his day doing~
