My name is Tina. Age 16, California, Taiwanese. Art/ComputerGame Dork. I can't think of an artist I admire whom isn't in this guild. However, I don't believe I'd be art fagtastical enough to be accepted but still love your forum so I post here instead of putting my pansy ego at risk. :3 My style was initially extremely anime-influenced when PokeMon rocked my world at age 11 or 12, but I'd like to (and somewhat have been) move more towards realism. I take art electives, but most of it is reference work. A bad quality photo of graphite shirtless male.Another photo (with a false sense of better quality due to resizing).. colored pencil.Normally I don't have enough focus to complete artwork on my own. I'll usually just scrawl things and attack it with minimal color--working on that though. ^^; A recent colored thingy.I did comissions for someone once.. >.> I have a weak chin.A while back I somewhat consistently did critiques of artwork in picture post, but then there was a random influx of just.. bad.. stuff--the artwork where there's just so much wrong that you really don't know what to say besides direct them to a tutorial site. I then fled to Q&A to continue my consumer whorish impulses but missed art, so I searched guilds and found Art Fags. I'm nice and not as much as an a** as I'd like to imagine, and would love to be part of this community. heart (stabby lack of ability to consistently produce art. red coloured like DEATH.)

Unfortunately I fully know I am not at a high enough standard for the guild. Yet. For the moment I'm blaming it on lack of a scanner and extreme business and subsequent lack of desire to draw. But anyway I'm taking an actual class, my first one, this next semester. Funnily enough I have a dev. art account. You can look if you want to. http://kibaroko.deviantart.com To be perfectly honest I'm more of a comimc/humor artist, but I would like to at least be able to draw some American style comic type things. God, that would make my day. Somehow I doubt that is faggy enough. I also loathe the obvious anime-ish qualities that pop up in my drawings, simply for the fact that I can't seem to get them out. I also made sig pictures for Nazhosh and Durian, though I'm not sure if they're still there. They may be on my devart anyway. Uhm. Other intro stuff, I'm 20, I plan to be a geologist (not a very artsy profession I suppose), I live in Illinois, and etc. My name is Kate. Help if you want.

Ok. Now that I've realized all the stuff in that account is incredibly old, I have instead opted to put up one or two pictures here. No scanner, so no possibility for coloring 'til I get home. Hopefully I'll be able to do more than just doodles then. My previous avatar.First watercolor attemptInteresting thingSorry for the double post. Methinks I should think before hitting 'submit'.

Yo, I'm Degnne. 19. I'm just here to look at all the pretty art. I love art. Art. Art. Art. Also, I lurk. A lot. xd So I won't be adding much to the conversation. I do mostly naturalistic stuff in pencil, ink, or colored pencil. Most of my work is too big to fit in my tiny a** scanner and I have no camera. Plus I am the suk at digital media. xD Seriously... What was I thinking!?! o_0` So, anyway. Hi. o.o How's it goin'? n.n In case your curious... some of my stuff: A pencil drawing of Michelangelo's PietaA cardinal o.oA lilly n.nI'm currently working on a sketch-thing of Shakira. o.o She rocks my socks. :'D

You will know me as serial_experiments, or just serial, and sometimes as Sindaran Ainu or Ainu Minaro, formerly Vampirony (Google that... Most of the stuff related to gaming / smashing pumpkins you will find it's ME...). I am 22. Studying Computer Science. Currently working on a larger version of this particular piece to give as a gift to my uncle and his family, along with polishing up a database for a job and making a design for Imagine Cup 2005. I have the strange ability to find weird stuff. And sometimes, I draw stuff too. GigashoopPregnancyWe Live in a Stranged WorldSweater-SX 3More at My Deviant Art page

Uhm, hello. My real name is Jasmine, and I guess I'll start with a link to my profile on Sheezy, where you can see ten of my pictures here.
I mostly draw anime style, but over the years I've kind of come up with my own thing a bit. I also write stories and poetry, none of which I have posted online anywhere. sweatdrop
I don't do backgrounds on my pictures often, but when I do, they are usually half-assed and lazy xP I work with several types of media, and everything I do/done I taught myself. I use coloured pencil (Prisma coloured pencils), charcol, or most of the time I'll doodle something and shade it with my allmighty mechanical pencil of DOOM >:3 And recently I've been messing around a bit with oil pastels.
I don't really have any of my doodles posted online anywhere, but when I find some intresting ones, I guess I can put them up if anyone is intrested in seeing them.
For those of you who don't like clicking links, I'll post a picture that is already posted on Sheezy here for you. (Sorry if it is a bit big, I like people to be able to see detail <3)

o_o; Okay so I'm not quite sure what this is supposed to be of, but I used charcol, my mechanical pencil of DOOM and some coloured pencil. This is my latest picture.
I also play a few instruments (Alto saxophone, guitar and piano), but that's about as far as my artistic abilities go. Oh, and I can sing too I guess xD
I don't do CGs much for one reason: I hate to draw or colour anything with a mouse and I want a tablet. I do have Photoshop 7.0, and I use it for just about anything. I lurve meh Photoshop <3 So one day, in the future, if I ever get my hands on a tablet, expect more CG pictures and stuff. Because I think CG is awesome stuff right there.
I also taught myself how to make animations using Image Ready (Which came with Photoshop) and I have a lot of fun with those <3 I made one using my mouse, and it's on my randomized image script in my signature. If you see it, it's the fox with the BTK hat and his tail flips and he scratches his nose and stuff.
Well I think that's about all for my jammering and such, so yeah I'll be going to bed now o_o

I.. uh.. guess I'll introduce myself. Pardon me, but I'm just a little nervous. I've been hanging around here (through The Iconoclast's posts in the Avatar Editors Guild) for a month or so trying to get up the nerve to post something. I am known as STKMisu, call me STK or Misu if you prefer. My age is about a month less than twenty years (almost exactly) and I have been drawing for about five years, seriously drawing for about four years. I've recently taken up writing as well in the last two to three years, but I haven't written a whole lot (though I have many ideas). Right now, I do not have a lot of examples of my work and no examples of my hand drawn work (though I'm working on getting my scanner problems fixed). I draw using my computer in fits and starts depending on how inspired I get, but I do doodle on paper a lot. I don't think I could survive without drawing at least one thing a day. Currently, I am trying to develop my own method and style with which to create images. It's kind of like a b*****d child of "anime" style (I hate that term), "american comic" style, and realism, with a whole lot of influence from various artists found on the great "interweb" xd . I have not yet progressed to the stage where I am comfortable with drawing more than one figure in a frame, but I am hoping to develop this ability at some point (practice, I know). Along this strain, most of my subjects are female (especially because I am female and so I use myself as figure reference most of the time) and many of the poses that I tend to portray my subjects in are painful. Case in Point: It's big, I know, but I figured it's better than posting a link (I hate links, too much trouble). In addition to writing and drawing, I am trying to get into web design, but so far most of my projects have been left by the wayside and forgotten. At some point, I hope to begin to develop enough courage/backbone to start illustrating my three story ideas (in at least one point, in comic format). Also, I have a long list of things that I would like to work on, but I feel it's too long and I'm rambling anyway.

Howdy, I'm Pixel. I kinda made a topic here with all of my art in it before realizing this existed, sorry for that sweatdrop . http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/guilds/viewtopic.php?pt=1106007839&p=8353074Anyway, I'm currently 16. I'm currently focusing my classes on art, fashion, and Computer Science. I'd love to be a Video Game Designer one day, but my guidance councillor says I should look into Graphic Design. Critique on art is always appreciated, I look differently than most people, I've noticed, and I love hearing what others think of my art.
