Zahi gave a questioning look at Moyenda. Well....that was a bit true. If he couldn't hunt, what use would he be? And, as much as he didn't like the though, caretakers of cubs and such were normally for females. Just what could he do?
"Uhh....I don't have any ideas for you, bud." He stated quite harshly, a little more then he meant too. "I mean, have you tried, though? I'm sure there's something you could do. Not that I know what it could...be though." Well, that was really going to boost Moyenda's self-esteem. Zahi was certainly not one for a pep-talk.

Moyenda laughed. "Well, thanks for the advice but I suppose I'll just tough it out out here." Moyenda was used to not being addressed very kindly so he didn't think much of Zahi's tone. And he knew just as well as Zahi that he was useless to a pride and a miracle in that he's still alive. His self-esteem probably wouldn't have gone up if Zahi had told him otherwise so it was all good.
He frowned a bit as he thought. "So... what are your plans?" he asked, trying to get the conversation off him.

Zahi didn't like that the attention turned back to him, but he didn't know what else to say to Moyenda, even if there was anything else to say. He gave off a yawn, letting himself settle down a bit more. "Not sure. I just let the wind tell me where to go, really. Hasn't hurt me yet, thankfully. You should try it sometime, instead of just mindless wandering. Who knows, maybe you'll end up right where you should be."

It sounded like good advice. But of course, he didn't see too much difference in that from "mindlessly wandering". Weren't they basically the same thing? Okay, today the wind's telling me to go.... that way! Mindless wandering was in a sense exactly the same. You didn't wake up knowing which way you're going to go. It just happens.
"Maybe..." he replied for the sake of saying something. He looked up at the sky and frowned at the fading light. "Well, I best be on my way. Nice meeting you." he said with a nod.

"Nice meeting you as well, Moyenda. Hope to see you again."
And with that, and the fading light, Zahi settled himself in for a good rest. Whenever he woke up, he would begin anew with the day, or night, if ti was still dark, and do as he pleased, which was exactly what he loved about his life.
