The newborn frei nodded and watched them carefully. That sounded nice. To stay together and take care of one another. The idea seemed very pleasing to the frei. Puffing up his chest, the minty raevan looked hopefully at Lazarus and pointed to Lazarus and them to himself. Tilting his head to the side, the frei asked, "Can I have famlee...Famee...Fam-ee-lee...Family? Can I, too?"
Then there was movement to the side and the young frei was distracted once more and watched Kaze curiously.

Lazarus nodded his head, "Yeah, you will have one once your ow...." but he stopped short as he saw that the young frei was yet again distracted by something else - Kaze scribbling on the paper. This new one sure has some poor concentration. Laz thought bitterly as he frowned at the other Raevan. The others were curious yes, but were never so easily distracted or scared like this one. Lazarus found himself comparing the newborn to the others.
"You want to play tic-tac-toe?" Kaze exclaimed happily as he finished drawing a 5th grid. He liked to do this, preparing grids so that they would have to play a certain amount of times to fill up all the grids. Since Lazarus used to like to ditch him halfway while playing.
Kaze didn't waited for an answer from the newborn Frei though. Propping his own pencil on the edge of his cup, he stretched out and dragged a yellow one from the pen stand nearby and offering it to the curious Frei.

The newborn was still paying attention to Lazarus and he flickered his red eyes back up at him, "What?" he asked curiously, trying to divide his attention between the fellow raevan and the green body in a cup. There was so much to look at, the young raevan wanted to see everything but his eyes could only go in so many directions and his mind could only take in so much at a time.
Looking back down at Kaze, the newborn shuddered a bit from the cold and asked again as he reached his arm forward to take the pencil that was offered to him, "What?" Taking the pencil into his hands and placing it in his face for better inspection, he began to chew on it. When it didn't satisfy his taste-buds, he frowned at the pencil and then held it out for Lazarus, "Teach," he commanded softly, looking at Lazarus with pleading hopeful eyes.

Lazarus frowned at the pencil offered to him. He took the pencil a little bit reluctantly and spoke, "This isn't for chewing." he spoke in simple words, pointing at his teeth at the same time as he shook his head. "It's for writing." holding the sharpened tip of the pencil he doodled a circle on a piece of paper. "Okay, let's teach this guy here how to play tic-tac-toe!" Lazarus spoke to Kaze, shifting his position a little so he's in the opposite direction of Kaze.
"Yay!! I'll start first!!" Kaze exclaimed happily as he draws an 'O' in the middle block in the middle of one of the grids.
"In this game, we draw 'X's and 'O's in these grids." Lazarus explained as he drew an X and O outside the grid to show the newborn Raevan what are they. "Now, Kaze is O, and I'm X. We can't be O and X at the same time, we must use either one of them. We take turns to draw on the grid, and the first person to complete a row with their symbols wins." Lazarus spoke as he drew an X at the upper left corner of the grid.

Sucking on his lip and looking intently with learning eyes upon the game, the newborn silently observed. He learned quickly, being so young and impressionable. He wasn't even a day old yet! Leaning on the table, the frei watched with profound amusement and asked softly, "Can I pla...play...play!...after this one?"

The game quickly finishes with Lazarus getting a complete row on the top row, he is after all the older and smarter of the two at the game. "Aaaaaw..." Kaze whined as he pouted at his defeat. "You always win!!"
Lazarus gave a small snicker as he turned towards the Frei again. "Sure," he said as he handed the pencil back to the young Frei. "You can have a go with Kaze here." Lazarus is the smarter player among him and Kaze, it'll only be fair for the newborn Frei if he plays against the weaker one than facing the strongest. Lazarus doesn't want to feel too cocky either.

The newborn leaned on the table, holding the pencil and he drew X on the square. What fun this was! Something new, something to learn from. The young frei watched the game, making sure to follow the elder frei's advice and steps. He was learning quickly since he was so impressionable. Looking up, the frei wasn't sure if he won or not so he looked to Laz for the answer.
"Did win, I did?" he asked unsurely.

Lazarus frowned upon the game that the newborn just finished with Kaze. Then he raised his sight to Kaze. "Kaze, I never knew you were so dumb, you lost to a newbie!!" It wasn't a tease though, as Lazarus didn't snickered or smiled at all when he was saying that. He was actually rather impressed at the newborn and slightly horrified at Kaze's dumbness.
Apparently Kaze was disappointed at himself too. The pencil he was holding had been dropped to the side of his cup and he sank himself into his tea, huddling close to himself, little bubbles floating to the water surface occasionally.
"I think... we should rest for the night." Lazarus turned to the newborn and said, because it's apparent that Kaze won't be playing anymore. And Laz is kind of tired of being a babysitter for the night. "Try to get some shut eye and you could wait for your family member to pick you up soon."

Looking after Kaze, the newborn looked suddenly very guilty of what he had done. Looking up at Laz and then back at Kaze, the frei asked, "What I do to make like that?" He waited for an answer from the tea cup but he didn't get anything.
Floating away from the table, the newborn asked another question, "Shut eye? When?"

"Well..." Lazarus started hesitantly, "...you won the game against him, and he just couldn't take the disappointment. Don't worry though, he'll be alright after a while." he spoke as he gave a soft pat on the newborn's shoulder. "You could rest here for now, I'm going to the lab front to uh... do some stuff. There's a television there, you wouldn't want to go with me." He added as he don't want the young Frei to follow him anymore, it'll be a pain if he got scared and run through walls again. At least staying in this room would be safe for him.

The newborn looked after him with a mein of worry, nervously shuffling his wings and playing with his lips. He didn't want to leave the elder frei's side, but then again he certainly didn't want to meet another monster! But what was he to do here with Kaze feeling bad?Confused, the frei asked quickly, "What is rest? Is that like whe...wha...when you and the White Dress Man left? What I did, did I?"

This won't do. Lazarus thought miserably. He don't want a curious and timid Frei tailing him all night, he wanted some time to be alone! Eyeing the surrounding of the room he suddenly had an idea.
"Rest is what you do when you're so tired that you don't want to move anymore. People usually shut their eyes when they rest." Lazarus explained the best he could. "But I highly doubt you're tired now. So you could probably read some books instead?" he suggested as he moved to one of the larger shelves. Opening the doors to the top shelves, he revealed a bunch of books inside. Children's story books, dictionaries, science books, comic books, love novels, there were a large variety on the shelf. Going through a few rows Lazarus picked out a few colorful children story books and comic books. Even if the newborn doesn't know how to read, he would know how to look at pictures, so that is what Lazarus going to make the Frei do all night - look at books!! Hopefully this will be enough to keep the young Frei distracted from him.
"Here you could flip through these if you're interested." He held out the stack of books for the Frei, with a book titled as European Fairy Tales on the top.

"Oh," the young frei echoed softly, watching Lazarus's every move and softly following behind. He peeked over the other's shoulder, watching as the elder frei opened the bookcase and revealed a whole bunch of books. Interested, the youngling opened his arms out to receive the armful of books and when they were placed in his arms he sunk and wobbled slightly until he caught himself. At the title of the first book, the newborn hardly understood anything, but when he looked at the pictures of winged things like him, he grew interested and a smile crawled its way onto his pale cheeks. Looking back up at Lazarus from behind a pile of books, the young frei asked, "I flip, then rest while Lazare...us...Does important things, he does? He'll come back right?"
