Silver smiled. "Your not a burden love. You would do the same thing for me. Just need to get you to the temple then we can patch you up. So don't think nothing of . . . . ." Silver stopped talking as the pair walked into a clearing with a giant old tree growing up against the mountain side. It would take ten men to encircle the tree in their arms, and it had a giant split down the middle, wide enough for a person to walk through, and a small house next to it.

Silver just nods a little.

An old monk comes out of the hut. "Oh? A pair of warriors traveling to the monastery of trails? Well, you are at the beginning of the right path. But whats this? An injury? That just will not do. Come in, Come in! We'll set you right again!"

Silver nods a little. Yeah, it should be." Silver walks into the little hut, where the monk is busying himself at the small wood stove

The monk puttered around, and set down a stool. "Well my dear, sit here. Don't worry, I won't bite. If i made any sort of threatening move i'm sure your shieldmate there would pound me into the ground. Have to get you all better so you can undertake the trial. I've also got a good light warriors lunch for you before you leave, so your ready to go on." The old man smiles, and rolls up the arms of his sleaves, showing an impressive set of muscles and scars for an elderly gentleman.

Silver stands behind Sati, hands on her shoulders, trying to a comforting presense.

The monk just smiles a little, and gently pulls off Sati's boot, unwrapping her ankle and checking it. "hmmmm. Pretty bad strain, but I can set it right again. this is going to hurt a moment though i'm afraid. Try not to kick on old man, please?" He smiles a moment, and then gently grabs her ankle, yanking straight away from her body, a popping feeling coming from her ankle as his hands glow a sunny yellow, and it hurts like blazes, but when he lets go, its all better. "That better my dear?"

The monk just smiled again "Its no problem, really. Its part of being the gatekeeper. But come now, you must be famished. your half a days walk from anywhere. Its only some soup and homemade bread i'm afraid, but its warm, and in good company I like to think.

Silver looks down at Sati, leaving it up to her.

Silver smiles a little, and kisses the top of Sati's head.

The monk chuckles a little, and quickly sets out 3 places of a hearty beef stew, and three small round loafs of bread, with butter in the middle. "Eat well warriors. This is the last safe haven between here and the monastery."

Silver smiles, and eats with pleasure, nodding in agreement with Sati.

The old monk smiles a little. "I like to think myself a decent cook. I don't get to do much else down here."
