"Why do they have to compete?" Fre traced each of his fingers with her own. Not fully satisfied she reached out and took his arm, massaging it gently. "It's okay to love two things equally."

Raken lightly sighed. "But I cannot divide it equally. With babysitting, studying, giving advice to siblings, occasionally visiting tartara...there is hardly any room left for training and you. Divide it in half, and both things are just neglected."

Fre stopped rubbing his arm and lightly placed a hand on his shoulder. "Don't worry," she said consolingly. "I'll be there. Or maybe you should talk to Tartara. With our kids on the way anyways, I'll be at home to take care of them and whoever else I have to anyways."
She took a deep breath and let out a sigh, "I just don't want to loose you."

Raken flinched slightly when her hand appeared on his shoulder. Slowly though he turned his head to look at her. "I couldn't just drop them on you. You have your own things to do."

"Not really," she responded, looking back at him. Truth was she had nothing to worry about, well up until now. Re and Ausar were fairly easy to handle and Birthday pretty much took care of herself now. There were very few things they needed from her around the house.

The male lightly sighed. "But fre...it would also put me in an obligation..." He glanced at her already decent-sized belly. His children. Wait. The male lightly frowns. "I have read books on reproduction and...how do potions combine the two sex cells..." The male murmered off, too smart for his own good

"Obligation to what?" she smiled as she gently rubbed his shoulder.
Both of them looked down at her belly and she sighed gently. It was a little strange after all to be thinking about children. Her children now. Of course he had to ruin the moment.
Smiling she said, "I don't know. It's part of the magic I suppose."

"To you." He continued to look at her stomach. "Part of the magic? But...we didn't touch. At all. How is that going to transfer genetic information to the other pae?" Raken shook his head. "And what is more confuesing, is that my brother dameon did it the normal way."

"You don't owe me anything." Fre said giggling and gently knocking into him.
"The normal way...," she thought for a moment before she could respond. "It doesn't matter either way, does it? Millie might be able to tell you if you ask."

He was going off on a tangent and though she loved him, it wasn't something very interesting. Fre liked not knowing everything because it gave life an interesting twist. It was just how she worked.
"Then I'd go ask Millie, she's the one who makes the potions."

Raken opened his mouth again to speak...but caught the look in her eyes. He may love knowladge but fre...not so much. The male leaned forwards and brushed his lips against hers.

It was completely sudden and unexpected. He had just been talking about the logical side of the potion and now he was kissing her. Fre giggled slightly but kissed him back, pulling him close.
After a moment she broke it off to peer at him, "Can we enjoy a date now?"

He acted like he had to put some serious thought into that, looking off into the distance. "Well...you DID lie, decieve, and manipulate the illogical ways of the potion...And I DO have to get my shadow griffin to respect me and I have been meaning to read 'The Odyssey' as I go into my religion studies..." Raken then grinned at her. "what did you have in mind?"
