Cassie looks at him. "I highly doubt it.. " She sighed sadly before looking up at him. "You see.. my family is spread out throughout the land and my father never saw me.. I thought he would help my mother raise all of us but he never did... he just left." She then smiled at the mention of time. ".. It sure does. It has been a long time since I have talked to someone like you. You are so sweet and kind, Shilah." She gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek. "That is for being so kind and sweet to me."
Cassie then looks towards the teepee then looks at him with a slightly giggle. "I meant it as a compliment, sweet Shilah. Let's go to your teepee.. If he is sweet like you, then I will definitly like him." She tosses her head as she felt the huge beach breeze. "Oh, wow.. it is so gorgeous, Shilah.. The beach.. everything.. The stars even look brighter here!" She squeals at the sight of the stars, loving this place even more.

Shilah looked at her surprised when she gave him a little kiss on the cheek. "Well thank you.. I guess..." He said and laughed lightly. "I don't think it is that hard to be kind and sweet to you though since you seem kind and sweet yourself, and if no one else has been kind to you I would have to say you are hanging around the wrong soquili." He said and nodded his head lightly.
Shilah nodded and smiled as he looked up at the sky. "Yes, it seems that way." He said talking about her comment on the stars. The were now just outside his teepee and he looked at her. "Shall we go in?" He asked her quietly just incase his two-legger was in there sleeping.

Lonatos thought he heard something again, this time even closer to the teepee. He shook his head again figuring he was just hearing things. It was probably a rabbit or something. He looked over at Kaya who was still sleeping and laid down again next to her.

Cassie saw his surprise then smiled softly while nodding. "If it is ok for us to go in while they are sleeping inside, Shilah." She whispered as she didn't want anyone waking up and getting mad at her. She peeks inside the teepee to see who was inside.

Shilah looked over at Cassie. "Well, lets just try to be very quiet." He said then very quietly opened up the flap and walked into to the dark teepee. It was so dark he looked back but he could not tell if Cassie was behind him or not.
Lonatos was sure he heard something this time and quietly lifted his head up to look around. It was too dark though so he could not see anything. He stayed there next to Kaya as he waited for his eyes to adjust more to the darkness.

Cassie was close behind him as she stayed very quiet, watching to see what would happen. She looks over to Shilah then to the two dark shadows as she wasn't sure who are what would be there. She thought to herself, "I am just glad I am with Shilah since he wouldn't let anyone or anything hurt me... I hope." She didn't want to let Shilah know that she is nervous.

Shilah walked farther into the teepee but he could not see where he was walking. He slowly made his way quietly through the darkness of the teepee before accidently stepping on a small little pot. He stopped after hearing the clay pot shatter underneath the pressure of his hoof. "Uh oh.." He whispered underneath his breath. He heard someone stir behind him, and he closed his eyes as he breathed out slowly before slowly turning his head to see who he woke up.
Lonatos could now see two shadowy figures through the darkness and he stood up abruptly at the sound of the breaking pot. He was ready to protect his home from who ever these intruders were. "Who goes there!" He said forcefully yet still somewhat quiet as to try and not wake up his two-legger Kaya who was still peacefully sleeping.

Cassie gasped when she heard the pot break and whimpers as she saw a shadow suddenly got bigger. She stood close to Shilah, not sure if she should run out of the teepee or not. She wanted to be safe and not be harmed.

Shilah heard Cassie gasp and whimper and gently whispered to her. "It is okay, it was just a pot." He froze at the voice. It was very familiar but the tone was different. Shilah squinted his eyes as he tried to see the figure that spoke to them more clearly. He looked over at Cassie before looking back in the direction of the other. He knew it could only be one soquili but he had never heard that soquili sound like that before then again it had been awhile. "Father?" He asked quietly through the darkness.
Lonatos heard one of the intruders gasp and whimper softly and he raised an eyebrow. Usually intruders were not so easily scared. Never the less he stood his ground not wanting anything to happen to his home or his two-legger. When he heard Shilah speak his tough composure disappear. He stood there for a second before any words came to him. "Shilah?" He answered back. He knew that it was his son, but who was the other soquili with him?

Cassie only merely nodded when she heard Shilah then looks towards the shadow, not knowing what could happen. She gets even closer to her friend, watching the black shadow. She thought to herself, ".. His father? He is that big?" She looks down at the small shadow as she wonders who or what it is before whispering to Shilah, "... Shilah?.... You sure it is ok for me to be here?... The shadow looks big..."

Shilah looked over in the direction in which his father stood. It had been a while since he had last seen his father, he was not sure what to say exactly. He shook his head softly to get out of the train of thought and looked over at Cassie when she spoke. "Don't worry, everything is okay.." He said back softly.
Kaya heard a bunch of noises and woke up. She sat up and rubbed her eyes before trying to look around the dark teepee. Not being able to see anything she quietly made her way over and started a small fire for some light. What she saw was her soquili Shilah had returned as well another soquili she did not know.
Shilah blinked a couple of times as the sudden appearance of light and when his eyes were used to it again he looked over at his dad. "It has been a while father.."
When there was light, Lonatos looked over and sat his two-legger awake and sitting a little bit away. He sighed softly, he had hoped not to disturb her.. Lonatos looked back at his son and what he could now see what a mare standing next to him. "Yes, it has been a while Shilah." He said then turned his attention to the mare. "And who might your friend be?"

Cassie looked at Shilah with a slight worry before nodding at his words. She whimpers once again when the small shadow made a fire. She had to get her eyes to adjust to the light before looking around the place. She sees a stallion then a little girl. The little girl seems to be more interesting to her as she sniffed at her.
When she heard the stallion spoke, her shyness got the best of her and she hides her face in her friend's back. She didn't know whether it was okay to talk or what she even say to the stallion. She looks up at the stallion almost like a little shy filly. "... I... I am Cassie, sir... It is short for Cassandra.. " She said almost in a small whisper. She was quite very nervous and shy not because of the little girl but because of the stallion. How she wish she could go to the girl.. but she didn't know if it was ok. She knew she could trust the girl and her friend, Shilah.. but what about the father?... She had heard that big stallions were very protective of the family/herd...

Shilah was so in thought about the fact that his father was back, it was only when Cassie answered his father's question softly did he come out of his trance-like state. "Cassie is a friend of mine." He looked over at Cassie and he could she that she looked very uncomfortable. "Cassie.. this is my father, Lonatos." He said trying to get the introductions out of the way to see if it would make her feel at all less uncomfortable.
Kaya smiled at all of the soquili that were standing in her teepee. She walked over to Shilah happily and wrapped her arms around him softly. "I missed you boy." She said softly. Kaya then looked over at the mare curiously not sure whether it was okay to get closer to her or not.
Lonatos nodded in a somewhat polite manner as he observed the mare. She seemed very shy.. was he really that intimidating? He flapped his golden butterfly wings lightly and nodded again. "Hello there Cassie.. as my son has just told you, I am Lonatos." He said before watching his two-legger Kaya.

Cassie blinked at the girl then started to move closer to the girl as if she was drawn to her.... That is when she stopped to look at Shilah as if she wanted his okay to go near her. She dared not to look at his father since she knew she hadn't won his trust yet.
Cassie sniffed at the girl once again, loving the smell of her. She whinnied softly as if she wanted to know more about the girl. "... Who is she, Shilah?" She looked over to Shilah, smiling nervously and shyly. ".. I like her smell..." She laughs nervously which sounded like nickering to the girl. She reached out and nuzzles the girl to see what she would do.

Lonatos watched Cassie as she moved closer to Kaya. Cassie was still a stranger to him, but if his son seemed to trust her then so would he. Lonatos watched just to make sure that his two-legger didn't mind Cassie being near her, especially since Kaya had just woken up.
Shilah looked at his father for a moment before looking back at Cassie. "That is my two-legger, Kaya" He said and nodded lightly. "She is very nice, it is okay." He said and smiled lightly before looking back at his father who seemed to be watching Cassie interact with Kaya.
Kaya looked at Cassie curiously and laughed lightly as Cassie sniffed her, it tickled a bit. When the mare nickered Kaya wondered what it was she was nickering about. Maybe she ws hungry? She looked around the teepee to see if there was any food. Before she could get up to go get any though, Cassie nuzzled her. Kaya was a bit surprised at first but then smiled and petted Cassie lightly.

Cassie looks up at Shilah then at Lonatos, wondering what to expect from such an important soquili. She then looks down at Kaya with a smile before nuzzling her once again. She hadn't expect her to be so nice back towards her. She looks at Lonatos once again and says with a gentle voice. "Sir, I hope I wasnt interrupting your sleep when we had came in. I just wanted to meet your owner. I find humans to be interesting. I believe your son is the most kindest stallion that I have ever met. I am glad to have met you and your owner. I can see where his traits and smartness came from." She looks over to Shilah with a smile then walks over to him. "Kaya is her name? That is a very pretty name."
