Shaha laid back down beside her and nudged her slightly with his nose. "Are you sure? I would like to help you... But if you don't want me involved, it's fine. It's a family matter, so I shouldn't interfere," he answered himself with a half smile and laid his head on his paws. "Will you at least let me stick by your side while you look? I may be slow... But, like you said, we lions were built for the offense."

"Of course," she murmured gently. "But if I find them... I'd like to deal with it alone." She smiled again at him, resting her head against his shoulder.

Shaha nodded and moved his head so that it rested breifly on hers before returning his head to his paws. "Of course. Of course," he said sleepily as he closed his eyes. The large fluff-ball, as he so laughingly put it, was soon asleep next to his new friend, a strong, protecting aura still coming from him, even in sleep.
