Aruna huffed, slightly annoyed, and then somewhat glared at Rahu, but it was really only half-hearted. She was so tired. "Rahu, Lano is here just to watch over me in case you get... violent. I have news for you." Big news that I'm not even sure you're gonna like to hear, she added within her mind. She moved away from leaning against the tree trunk. Panting, she took a step forward, and then made a quick, somewhat unsteady, move to lay down. Why was she feeling so tired? This pregnancy thing was beginning to get really annoying... and why, she wondered idly, were only females the one to end up producing new lives and the ones to end up getting fat? Oh well...

(*dies laughing* wow she went from leaning on a tree to moving from leaning on a window! *inspects the window that mysteriously appeared*)
Delano snorted lightly. He was a bit irritated. Figures Rahu would react in such a manner..so he hasn't changed in what he thought or felt for Aruna...but then what the hell happened between them to result in.....this? Delano's ehad moved to look at Aruna a moment when she stated why he was there. It was true but he sort of wished she had not phrased it like that. Nonetheless he remained silent, eyes looking back and forth between the pair. Aruna seemed tired. She would need a place to rest soon. And then she suddenly laid down...was this a good idea with the news she had for Rahu??? "Aruna?" He spoke softly, his tone questioning what she was doing.

Rahu made a odd face when he heard he say delano was there only just incase he got violant and caused a eye roll right then. he though kept from making a snide remark when he heard she had news for him. that was odd and both of them seemed to be acting odd which caused his to make another odd face that almost said 'i'm confused'. snorting, he shook his head. " what kind of news for me would you have?" now he took the time to look at her specialy since she decided to lay down and saw that she now had a belly and that spoke to Rahu that she was pregnat. that caused him this time to wrinkle his nose, wondering why she would be talking to him now when she was like that, so nothign clicked in his mind just yet as he was more on edge with how odd the meeting was.

(XP I fixed it! XD; Yeah, it was funny.) "Well... the news is... I'm pregnant. I'm sure you can see that with how big my stomach is... but the news is that I'm pregnant with your foals, Rahu," she said sternly, making sure to catch his eyes. She mentally gulped and prayed that nothing bad would happen; such as Rahu rejecting his responsibilities as a father. If he did that, she could only hope Delano would be willing to help her raise these foals. After all, they were a part of her, even if Rahu was a part of them and he didn't want them.

Delano simply snorted at Rahu's facial expressons. There was really no need to say anything. This stallion was always rude and nothing anyone said would ever change that, so he had decided not to bother wasting his words on the dark stallion. It was obvious Rahu was on edge, which made him unpredictable. Never a good thing with a stallion who had a violent history.
Delano tensed up after hearing Aruna speak her words to Rahu. He was ready just in case Rahu did decide to attack. He would not let Rahu harm Aruna though, or the innocent lives within her. He wondered and waited now to see if Rahu would accept his foals or reject them. A part of him hoped to see Rahu reject them as it would make his life a little easier with Aruna, but in his heart he knew that was wrong and that Rahu should be a part of the foal's lives.

Rahu completely ignored Delano when he heard the words Aruna spoke. he went dead silent as a wave of different emotions came over him as he heard he now was to be a father. at first he was going to ask how in the heck that happened, but then suddenly as he was going to speak and question, the memories of what happened came back and so he stayed silent. the only question now was would he take responcablitity for the foals that where his and Aruna's. his face was blank and expressonless as he stood there with so many emotions going through him and the one thing that was etiched into his mind as he had a big decision to make....
To take care of the foals or reject them and do nothing?

Aruna somehow sensed Delano's tension and tensed slightly herself. Rahu was completely expressionless and him being impassive made her panic slightly, but her outer expression was only tense and also emotionless. He had better accept responsibility, but if he didn't... she still had Delano. She hoped. She turned to look at her mate, who was muscle-tight with cautious tension. She sighed mentally to herself. She would make this up to him someday; she really would. She loved him too much to not do something; more than Rahu, who she now could only consider as a best friend these days. "Well, Rahu?" she prompted, slightly impatient.

Delano watched as Rahu went completely silent.....an eerie silence really...he hated waiting and it was akward waiting for Rahu's response. Not only that but it made him nervous. He didn't like unpredictability. He turned to look at Aruna and found her looking at him, his gaze meeting hers. His eyes softened slightly but concern replaced sme of the nervous tension he felt as he read the tenseness in her body. This was not good for her or the foals. They needed to get her to a place to rest peacefully soon. His eyes returned to Rahu. He wanted to say something but then saying anything could potentially risk his rejection of the foals. It was best to wait til Rahu responded. He stepped forward o stand beside Aruna, lowering his head to nuzzle at her neck, just to let her know he was still here for her.

Rahu snapped out of it when Aruna spoke and would have responded but then he remebered Delano was there. when Delano went and stood beside Aruna and nuzzled her which only caused to remind him that the foals Aruna was now bearing should have never been and that he had no place in being around. shaking his head, he took a step away and looked away. " well what? you probaly know that i'm going to say i have no place in being there for the foals because i know very well that i would only beable to visit them because you and delano are together, which i have no place in being near or between." his eyes narrowed a bit but he still was not looking at ether of them. "...... and to be honest i still don't know what i should do, though i think i know what would be best to do."

She felt better when Delano came to her side, relaxing a bit, and then, at Rahu's reply... she froze. She became like a statue; she was just so shocked. Why... he... but... Her thoughts became incoherent, and all she could feel was chaos within her heart. Why? Why was he... "Why are you rejecting them...?" she whispered, eyes downcast as she fought back tears. She was strong. She was Aruna. She didn't cry; no, no tears... "...They're a part of you... and although my mate is here, it'd be better if they knew their true father... wouldn't it?" she rasped, hardly breathing. She knew what he was thinking, but she hadn't thought it possible. "No... no... I'm strong..." she whispered, closing her eyes a moment. "Rahu... why? Why are you rejecting your own children...?" She leaned against Delano, needing his comfort and his strength. She couldn't comprehend why her best friend seemed like... she knew he said he was undecisive... but... no...

Delano was furious when he heard Rahu's words....and even moreso when he saw Aruna near tears...it was tearing her apart. He listened to her speak before he said anything. He did not move from Aruna's side, knowing she needed his physical support right now, but he shot Rahu an glare, anger blazing in his red eyes. "You may not be her mate Rahu but they are YOUR foals and I would expect you to take responsibility and be there to help raise them as their father. It can be a happy family even if their parents are not lifemates. Those foals are innocent, they do not deserve to be punished for yours and Aruna's actions. " He spoke sternly. He had accepted what had happened and although the pain still tore his heart apart he was still willing to be there and help her through it. "To reject and run from them Rahu is very low and makes you less a stallion then I had thought you to be. Have you no pride? Or do you just run from everything when it doesn't go the way you like? I am not happy with this situation, but you don't see me running away and leaving Aruna alone to handle this all by herself. Can you not see how your rejection is tearing her apart? She NEEDS you to be there for your foals. No one else can be their father but you. Only a coward would reject them and run away." He stared a moment longer at Rahu before lowering his head once more to try and comfort his mate at his side. She almost seemed to be trembling.

Rahu shook his head and stared at Aruna but when Delano spoke it flared that maliscious temper that always seemed to get the best of him in heated situations and sneered his words with a curled lip. " do you think i do not know this Delano? i never said i rejected them though my words where leaning towards it BUT i know what the right thing to do it and what i should do." his eyes where blazing and visably he was breathign a bit faster from the anger that was caused by Delano's words but kept himself in place.

She had basically tuned out what the stallions around her were arguing about, and only kept her eyes closed as she tried to keep from bursting with emotions galore. Her body shook terribly as she tried to bring herself under control, only held within thanks to her mate as she breathed in his scent to calm her nerves. It wasn't fair to the foals; it made sense to her, that Rahu would reject her--after all, she'd been rejected by him countless times--but to reject his own foals? She didn't hear anything going on outside, so she didn't even know what was happening. All she could do was concentrate on calming down.

Delano glared at Rahu once more. He could see that spark in Rahu's eyes. That gleaming look was not one Rahu could hide. "And that would be? Why don't you tell Aruna then instead of dancing around it. It seems she needs to hear it." Delano could feel Aruna's body shaking as she leaned closer to him. "I think if you did know that then your words were unneeded about not having a place with them. All they have done is upset Aruna and right now thats the last thing she needs. I suggest you think about what you say and do as it will affect her and the foals she carries." Delano shook his head at Rahu. What a stupid inconsiderate stallion. He secretly wished he had let Rahu die that day, then perhaps he would not be in this mess right now. He badly wanted to blurt the hurtful words at Rahu but in his heart he knew that would be wrong and make him no better then Rahu. Aruna did not need such fighting and angry words around her. He nuzzled Aruna once more, his voice now soft and gentle, "Aruna? Are you ok?"

at this moment all Rahu wanted to do was rip Delano appart but at this moment that was something not needed as Aruna seemed more than just upset. closing his eyes a moment, he knew it was best to now carefuly choose what he spoke so not to upset Aruna anymore than she was since it was not good to do when she was with foal like this. eyes opening, he carefully spoke his words. " you know as well as i do that i do have no place as she is your mate not mine and shouldn't be with my foals in the first place Delano and have no clue as to what kindof emotions are running through my mind at this moment." standing stil, he looked at Aruna and almost let a pained facial expresson come to his face but hsook it away. ".........Aruna if you truely want me to do whats right and be there for the foals then i will but if not i'll walk away now and wont look back."
