ow. I'll explain it to you online or at school or something. There's a way to lower it, but I'm a little foggy and I'd have to ask Peter.
...actually.. you might just want to ask him

Personally, I like the idea of a 14th gen in the game. They are weaker power-wise but the story could be interesting. I mean brand new 14th gen can sometimes get pregnant. Not everyone in the vampire community would be happy to see the little abomination born. I mean the mother is technically dead. Plus the social and spiritual ramifications of an innocent child living a cursed life. Or maybe it isn't cursed and fanatical vampires see her/him as the way to their own salvation. Would the child be a typical human or would it be something more? Tremere would love to get their hands on it.
Of course, she may not want a baby. Its not only a ward she would have to protect (and therefore a liability) but it would require a player with at least moderate creativity and problem solving abilities just to stay alive. 14th gen are commonly considered fodder among most clans. And the Sabaat are way more into strength. They are intentionally brutal to breed stronger vampires. She would almost require a mentor as some sort of protection. Though that could be good for someone unfamiliar with the game.

Well damn! xd Looks like I'm in for the time of my life. A mentor is probably sounding like a good idea, lol...oh man, totally not liking the fodder business. Lol. Great.

You don't have to stay 14th if you don't want to. During character creation you get five points to put in backgrounds (generation, resources, alliess...) you can always throw a few puts into generation. 1 pt. = 1 level lower gen. I personally like to see how well I can adjust to certain setbacks like really low intelligence or supernaturally ugly looks. But I have been at this a while. If you think its too overwhelming just put a point into generation and make yourself a 13. Perfectly acceptable and no real setbacks.
