Fortune still looked a bit concerned and she continued to fight the urge to be a silly mare all over again, "Are you sure? You don't need to talk about it?"
She was a very different mare from the mare who had challenged him to a race not a few minutes earlier.

He nodded once more. "I'm sure." There really wasn't much he could talk about without making things infinately worse than they were. He didn't want to talk about it because, contrary to popular belief, talking about things did not make it any better. "It has been a long night... Perhaps I am simply growing weary and, much like Crow, I should call it a night."

Fortune gave him a long look before nodding her head, "Maybe you do need sleep. I did beat your butt in a race, though. You'll have to have your strength to retalliate next time."
A long pause as the mare looked at him, "There will be a next time, right? I think you're fun."
Probably not something he heard often.

"Yes." He managed a slight smile as he turned away from the mare. "I'm certain that there will be a next time... Afterall, friends often run into one another, don't they?"

Fortune smiled, "Yeah, they do. Goodnight, Draven!"
The mare then trotted off to do something or another, probably chase squirrels until she went to sleep. If there were any squirrels around at the moment, anyway.
