Luicus slowly closed the book and just sat there, his eyes closed and his arms around her waist. He took slow and deep breaths, sighing contently as he just sat there, being with Kethara made him feel funny in his chest.

Kethara turn alittle so she was facing him. Running her hand through his hair she titls her head to the side "Luc, would you be mad at me if I went away? Back to where I belong?" she knew the answer but she had to hear it from him.

"Absolutely furious," Lucius said, turning his head to look at her. "Why? Are you thinking of going back to your mountain?" He asked her. "Cause then I'll just have to go read there if you do..."
He liked having Kethara around.

Kethara closes her eyes looking down at the ground for a moment. He answer only made this harder for her, looking up she bites her bottom lip shaking her head "Maybe...I don't belong here. I'm starting to see this Luc."

"Maybe you need to try harder to make a place for yourself?" Lucius argued. "I like having you around Kethara, I do care about you, care for you, I really wish you would just stay..." He said, wrapping his arms around her tighter.

Kethara shook her head before she looks up at him "Don't you see Luc, all your problems happen because I showed up. So if I go away, everything should be okay again." she wasn't thinking clearly for the most part.
All the was in her mind was that she was causing pain, she wasn't hearing Lucius saying he cared for her.

Lucius sighed. "Kethara, what happened in my life happened, and would have happened anyway, my father is who he is, and that is something I'm dealing with in my own way. Soon, I'm moving into my sister's house, I need to get away from him for a little while, before he locks me away completely."
Shaking his head slowly he looked at Kethara. "If you leave, it will change nothing."

Kethara sighs before looking down shaking her head "I just wish that there was a sign to tell me I belong here. That all this pain is worth it in the end, I've been asking the guardian everytime something goes wrong. But they don't answer me." she attempts to pull away again.

Lucius sighed and pulled her tighter to him. "Then stop asking them, why do you need a sign anyway?" Lucius asked, looking down at her he smiled. "The Guardians are up there, and we're down here, what can they do?"

Kethara shrugs before she looks down sighing "I just wanna know I belong, maybe you don't understand. But its just a longing in me to want to know this is where I should be." shaking her head she lays it on his shoulder closing her eyes again.

Lucius turned his head and kissed her cheek, giving her a strong hug. "Kethara, you're a pae like me, you belong here," He said plainly. "If you weren't meant to be here, you wouldn't have been born," It was very logical to him.

Kethara remains quiet for a few minutes before she looks up at him. Leaning in she kisses his cheek before laying her head back on his shoulder. Sadly she knew he didn't fully understand, not that she could really tell him anything either.

Lucius stood there and smiled. "See, who would give me kisses if you were gone," He didn't give her time to answer. "Nobody that's who," He said with a light chuckle. "I'm not the kinda guy girls like, so I'm lucky that you even show a remote intrest in me at all."

Shaking her head Kethara chuckles "Your a great guy Luc, I don't know why any girl wouldn't like you. Your smart, handsome, and very caring. You could get any girl to fall in love with you." laying her head on his shoulder she closes her eyes "I won't leave, I really can't if I wanted to. I would miss you to much."

Lucius smiled. "Good," He said softly, keeping his arms around her he sighed happily. "Good..." Closing his eyes he realized that he was cuddling her, and that was okay.
As so long as his parent's didn't show up that was.
